Took a class for 5 months. And I'm very satisfied with that. Marina took care a lot even before I joined the class. Nina is absolutely the best teacher I’ve ever had, without her I couldn’t make that long term learning. I didn’t have any problem with payment as many people mentioned.

(English below) I do not recommend the school at all, since I had several problems in my process and more than anything at the end. There are many people I know who had similar or worse situations and the school's support or interest in improving is unfortunately not seen. Problems I had: 1. I had problems with my German teacher (he was late to class, he didn't leave homework, he had little patience to explain). I have had to request a change from this teacher on more than one occasion. Besides, they have few teachers, so sometimes that means not having classes or having them organize you however they want. 2. Housing in general is expensive and you receive it dirty, there is supposedly someone who cleans it but you don't really see that service. Most houses do not have a washing machine. 3. Poorly prepared medical German classes. The price quality is not worth it. A month is really a very short time. You only have classes with a doctor on 3-4 occasions, the rest are with German teachers. 4. The value of German courses compared to other schools is high. Taking the class online is a waste of time, since you are often ignored in class or the teacher does not know how to use the zoom platform. 5. If you try to cancel a course or request a refund, they will not allow it. So inform yourselves very well about things, ask and read every detail; Well, they came out with surprises and I lost my money. This has already happened to several. 6. Don't trust the positive comments here too much, since most of them are requested by the school itself. They themselves ask people to delete the negative comments they have received. English I do not recommend this school because I had several problems in my process and mostly at the end. There are many people I know who had similar or worse situations and the support or interest of the school to improve is unfortunately not seen. Problems I had: 1. I have spent the last 5 months in the wonderfully patient, always positive and extremely knowledgeable hands of Jenny a teacher at go Academy. Not only has she made the Germany language interesting and classes enjoyable. She has consistently stoked discussion and answered questions thoroughly and precisely. Go Academy is not only full of extremely friendly, helpful, kind staff; who speak both English and German and many more languages. But also has superb teaching and the perfect environment for German learning. If you are new in Germany and want to Learn the language, look no further.

I am actually an on-line student in the school. I have started taking classes one month ago with the aim to do B2 TELC test. I must say that after one month of regular classes with the GoAcademy 5 days a week, 4 hours per day my level has rocketed up!!! I am no more afraid to express myself even if I am stiill far away from being fluent in German. One thing is sure: i am on the right way and in good hands. My teachers Anja and Michael are perfectly managing both off-line and on-line students. I love our virtual community, the way we are supported by our teachers and by each other. I have no doubt that with such a profesdional and friendly support I will be ready for my test and will be successful. I have tried several other ways to learn German and to get prepared to go for B2. I have lost some time and a lot of money. If anyone will be reading my review, i tell you honestly: this is not cheap, but it is a short cut and a sure way to B2... and even further! I should have come here earlier. But better late than never. Go " GoAcademy!"

I can generally highly recommend the school for an educational holiday in English and say that the instructors there convey the learning material well. However, the parking situation there is a disaster and the adjacent parking lot is used at a maximum of 80%. Probably because the prices there are outrageous! 11€ for 7 hours would certainly be okay for external people.... But completely out of the question and outrageous towards course participants!

Don't waste your money! They let people participate in the B2 course level even if they do not have A2 level of knowledge. For them is just important that you pay. Girl slept on the class, teacher just ignore her. Big waste of time and money! Some youtube course are more effective!

It’s really a great place to study! Really nice and professional teachers, interesting students from all around the world! And also really convenient location. I spent here 5 month studying German from 0 level to B1 and I can tell you I really start to speak! Apart of the lessons they also offer to their students other out-school activities, like city tours or BBQ. But my favorite was 5 continents festival! That was really cool!!! So, if you’re looking for a German language school, this place is the best combination of price and quality!!!

Be careful with the contract term! They try to hide the information and make you stuck in never-ending contract renewal! Better to use transparent platform such as Preply.

Only bad experiences coming out of this school. Be aware and read all the reviews so you won't commit the same mistake I did. NEVER endorsing this company. NIGHTMARE update: They come here and reply this but I initially informed them that I would attend the course for only 3 months, but they igored and tricked me using the small lines in the contract to extend my contract and make more money without me even going to classes. Had to use a lawyer and it didn't worked. Be very careful. Avoid them.

Everything was good. The school was nice, teachers very friendly, staff also very friendly and helpful. I spent some weeks in Düsseldorf and liked the city a lot. It´s small but modern and I could visit also others cities, countries....Düsseldorf is very close to the Netherlands, Belgium and France. It was very important for me to be in a good school and city that has many things to offer. The German course was also great. I met there people from very different countries and we are still in contact. I would like to return in 1 or 2 years to GoAcademy! Thanks for everything! :-)

Amazing team - in every department. Very friendly consultation and competent German teachers. Location is awesome and you are in city centre within about 5 min on the tram. Lots of great food places around and trams come every few minutes.

I was there for over six months a few years ago. Would not recommend it. It is not terrible, but I would check other options. From a language-learning perspective, it was a lot of wasted time. One teacher was good, but the rest were quite average and complained that they were hardly getting paid (freelancers). They promised max 12 students in a class, packed more than 18 during the summer. When I mentioned it they were upset. I took a break, and when I wanted to come back they made up an excuse to prevent this, of course, didn't give me back the money. The owners and some of the teachers are very left-leaning and would go into politics on a regular basis. They had little understanding but much to say. I was also at Goethe-Institut before that, it was much better but unreasonably expensive.

I studied German for 4 months in this academy and I improved a lot. They are very nice and helpful. The teachers are helpful, patient and good at teaching. The staff members are also very helpful and most cooperative. I would very much recommend that you study here if you are looking for a a place to learn a new language at. - Yousef

The courses are fun and dynamic with small groups. The teachers are great (Sabrina in particular!). It is also very flexible so it works well with unpredictable commitments (e.g tests or uni preparation). I passed the B2 test comfortably after taking the class.

Teachers are very nice, however some teachers discuss about politik too much, and I felt offended for multiple times. My only criticism ist to ask the teachers to respect different cultural background, and before they point out the negative aspects of ones culture, 1. Speak in a respektive and polite way 2. stop immediately if the student CLEARLY appears uncomfortable. 3. Don't mistaken "direct" with "rude"

I learn German at Goacademy since October, 2022. I have to say that it's the best course in Düsseldorf. Even German is not that easy but I enjoy every day there. All staffs are very friendly, especially Dianne and Jenny. All of us in the class can successfully passed the TELC Deutsch B2 test. I also take the medicine course. The doctor, Isabel Steinke is very kind and teach us how to prepare ourself for the FSP test. I love the way she is willing to answer every questions. Thank you for such a wonderful time there. Highly recommended 🥰

I have just finished 2-week long intensive course B1.2 and I would like to share what a great time it was. Not only teachers are experts, yet they made the learning very motivating and fun throughout different learning methods. The course was adjusted to my German level and my needs, e.g. afternoons classes were tailored to my German grammar gaps and conversation practice. I feel very motivated to continue to learn German and looking forward to continuing my German language journey with GoAcademy via evening courses soon. Kuddos & thank you to Marina, Sabine and Gerno for all your patience, passion for teaching, positive vibes and all the tips& tricks to remember the grammar better! :))

I recently completed my German B2 level at the GoAcademy in Düsseldorf and was very impressed by the quality of the teaching. The teachers are highly qualified and committed, which is reflected in their in-depth knowledge and passion for the German language. The lessons are well structured and varied and effectively teach both grammatical basics and communication skills. It is important to emphasize that the lessons are practical, meaning that students have frequent opportunities to apply what they have learned in real-life situations. The learning materials are contemporary and attractively designed and support the learning process. GoAcademy Düsseldorf also offers a pleasant learning environment with modern facilities and small class sizes that enable individual attention. I can highly recommend GoAcademy Düsseldorf if you want to improve your German skills effectively and to a high standard.
