Closing. Don’t go. Don’t join. Closing for an undetermined amount of time for renovations starting 7/18. Although the space seemed fine and in good repair to me I understand the desire or need to renovate. However the way they’ve gone about it by slowly closing sections and then closing the club with just days of notice to members is deceitful.

Went in for a workout , front desk old lady says I have an overdue payment from 4 months ago , which is strange seeing as how all my payments are up to date. As I pull up my bank statement to show her I realized that there were 4 DUPLICATE payments plus late fees for that 1 MONTH. I told her I previously diagnosed the problem with another staff member who was very helpful and said it might’ve been a glitch in the system and allowed me to continue to work out. In response the old lady says I don’t trust those kids. I then ask her is there a manager with any type of solutions and she then tells me it’s her she’s the one with the answers. Seeing as how she had zero answers and was not helpful in anyway shape or form I then ask her since there is an issue with your system and I provided not only proof of the payment but I also inquired about the duplicate payments taken from my account she still refused to let me work out and tells me to come back at 9 to speak with a manager(which I thought you were the manager because you said you were). What in the hell is going on here at planet fitness Billerica… like they just renovated the place but they really really really need to focus on renovating the staff. Been really hesitant to cancel my membership here due to the non existent customer service at the front desk. This experience solidified my decision, I’ll be coming back at 9 to cancel my membership. I usually have thick skin and have never once in my life canceled anything due to another human being, but this is not the first time I’ve had an infuriating experience here and I can’t keep starting off my mornings like this. PS you should just hire a scare crow for the front desk it might be cheaper than employing that old hag

Used to love working out here a couple months ago, came back and it changed drastically which is different but okay. Staff was always nice but the woman in the morning at the front desk was terribly rude when I came. Very caught off guard, will never come here again.

Kinda bummed to change this rating but they could not or would not transfer my prepaid membership to this location. What's a miss for them is turns out I only had 1 weeks remaining. Big customer service miss that would have kept me as a member. The lady at the front desk was very nice though.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I was working out one day and this person kept standing near me waiting for me to finish my set. Mind you I just got started using the abs machine so I felt very very uncomfortable. Then as I’m doing squats with the weight rack these guys keep staring at me for no reason and I just didn’t feel comfortable again like I shouldn’t be feeling this way. Then when I go to use the showers it smells and it looks gross. I found someone’s underwear and razor sitting there and there was yellow stuff on the mat. I don’t appreciate how dirty and nasty the men’s showers are like do better! I will not be coming back here again and I’ll be cancelling my membership. The bathroom stalls there’s just toilet paper on the floor like is it that hard to pick up after yourself? This is a serious problem that needs to be fixed. Until that gets fixed I will not be coming back here again.

Nice to have a PF that is 24hrs. Adequate workout equipments and plenty of parking outside. I gave 3 stars due to seeing that the facility really needs a good mopping and cleaning of the floor spaces. Sorry, but its the dirtiest PF location I have visited as a Black Card member.

Last month, I joined online instead of in-person. The process was a breeze, and everything I needed to know about billing and other important things was displayed clearly. From my first day and till today. 1. The staff were friendly. 2. Equipments were clean. 2.1 Cardio, SYNRGY-360 30m-Workout, 15m-Abs, and Dumbell like equipment were all organized. 2.2 Other equipment such as legs and arms equipment were kind of a mess, at least for me as a starter in this club, but I got used to it now. 3. The environment is comfortable. 4. The locker room is big. 5. I haven't used the showers. But I used the bathroom, and it was clean. 6. There are enough cleaning stations, and they are well stocked. 7. I like the yoga or matt section. You can grab your own matt and clean it after using it. 8. I like the people here, I haven't had any issues or disrespect from anyone. Unfortunately, this club will be closed temporarily in July for remodeling. The club will close on July 18th, 2023, and reopen August 18th, 2023, if everything went as they planned. The staff told me that during the month of remodeling, members don't have to change clubs. Members can simply walk to any club in the area and tell them about the remodeling, and they will admit you in.

Getting worse. People don't wipe down machines, talking on cell phones even on speaker, FOX news reduced to 1 TV from 3 on the floor for viewing and the padding on many machines is worn through which makes them uncomfortable to use. Owner is completely unattentive and unresponsive to any issues raised by the paying clientele. Not recommended! Find yourself another gym that is well run and well cared for to join. This one is neither.

No masks anymore(which I don't mind!). Hours open have been reduced, which stinks. This gym has no squat rack, but otherwise it's just ok. What can you do.

Opened a membership less than 6 months ago. Was charged $39 twice, $70, and 2 additional $21.99 charges all in less than ONE MONTH. No help was so ever from the manager, no call backs, emails back, NOTHING all at the planet fitness in Billerica and no customer support. Avoid this scam central gym at all costs. Had to through my own bank to try and get any funds back.

I been doing the gym thing for 2 years straight. I often enjoy going to different ones so I don't get bored. But Billerica location by far is the dirtiest gym I ever been to. Every single part of the gym is dusty, i can litterly draw a house through the dust, no clean area ANYWHERE. The floors are horrible the female bathroom atleast today had no paper towels. But esthetically compared to dracut, Danvers, Salem, and saugus which those are the ones I been to, Ican honestly say no upper management walks in this door, no way would they stand for this. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVEN'T SWEPT OR CLEANED THESE FLOORS SINCE BEFORE WINTER. Management needs to pay a visit.

Men's locker room, specifically the showers need to be updated. Shower heads are clogged, shower curtains are stained, fiberglass floors are cracked, and hot water is not so hot. Rest of the facility seems to be clean enough.

I am paying for a 24 hrs gym facility!!!! You need to fix your issue, stop being so demanding with your staff and pay a reasonable rate. Customers with black cards should not be affected and definitely not be paying full price when it’s not open 24hrs

Bad location typical cheap gym they try and make look and sound good definitely not. highly don’t recommend go anywhere else but this company

Joined 12/1/22 and was charged 199.00 twice. Its now the 11th and have not seen any money returned as yet.

Planet Fitness in Burlington, MA, is an outstanding fitness facility that exceeded my expectations. I went to check out the new changes and learned more about membership. The guy at the desk was very informative and friendly. The locker rooms were updated and clean.

This gym is so dirty and run down. There are barely any weights to add to the machines and the majority of the machines have something wrong with them. It is obvious this place is not cleaned because you can see scruffs on the walls and the glass windows to the entrance are super dirty too. Also, you can smell the BO throughout the gym. I’ve been to other planet fitness’s that are just as busy but you never smell anything bad.

I downgraded from a black member to a regular membership and specifically asked the front desk to be in a no-contract agreement. They charged me 20 dollars and put me into a no commitment regular membership. Recently they have significantly reduced their hours, they are no long open at reasonable times on the weekends. Two weeks ago, I asked to cancel my membership. The front desk worker told me I was locked into a 12 month commitment and have a 58 dollar buyout. This location still advertises 24/7 on the building. They are falsely advertising and deceptively enrolling members into contracts. Stay far away from this location, new assistant management is rude and are not willing to resolve issues with customers.

Great gym! Alot of ppl, unless you go on off times. Beware of the young adults who hog a machine/work a muscle group then play on phone; I encountered this several times. No pics cuz I'm there to work out.

Good place for someone who knows how to do workout on their own . Peaceful environment. As the brand sujest's no judgement.

My favorite location in the area, but so disappointed they reduced the hours. Used to be 24/7, I wish it was at least open later on the weekends but I understand the challenges. 5 stars anyways. Some of the machines could use some attention, starting to operate a little crooked or off balance.

Definitely not the most posh Planet Fitness in the New England area, but the early morning staff here are fabulous and make up for the lack of luxuries (e.g. stand-up bed). Also, unlike many PF locations that shortened hours during the pandemic, this one held strong and continues to maintain 24hr availability.
