Decent experience overall. We came on a Friday and the wait was 1 hour, 40 minutes (for a first available table at that - we were seated inside). The bright side is that you can join the waiting list from their website, so you can hangout nearby (beach, casinos, etc). The overall vibe is awesome — the views can’t be beat, and it’s just a cute restaurant overall. The shrimp was amazing, but my steak came out closer to medium rare inside when I asked for it medium well. Servers were quick and friendly though. Would consider returning if we are ever through town again!

Loved it. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. Service was friendly with suggestions that we heeded. The food was excellent. Portions were way too large but some would appreciate it. We had the lobster fries for appetizer that were loaded with shrimp and oh so good. I had the shrimp three ways that were delicious but when I return I would opt for the bacon wrapped only because they were delicious. My daughter ordered the jerk bowl with the jerk sauce on the side at the suggestion of our waiter, which was the way to go. The sauce was tasty but super spicy....add with caution. My other daughter ordered the crab cakes and loved them. I wish they had an option for just boiled crab legs but that wasn't an option. The view was superb. I recommend.

Great venue on the beach overlooking the sea. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and enjoyable. We tried the gator bites and shrimp platter. Both were good and if you haven't tried gator bites,I'd recommend trying them at Shaggy's. Drinks were well made and prices are reasonable.

Our food and drinks were delicious and the view was unbeatable! Kacie was our server and she was AMAZING!! She was so sweet, had great recommendations and took phenomenal care of us. They’re lucky to have her!

Went here for dinner while in town. Food was PHENOMENAL. Service was unbeatable. Loved the atmosphere. Manager was absolutely the best. Going back for dinner tonight before we leave. Try the crab and corn bisque and the burgers. You won’t regret!

Great food excellent service and a good view of the Biloxi Beach at sunset. What more could you ask for? We had an excellent waiter. Bobby took good care of us and made sure to check up on us all throughout supper. We got a top shelf margarita and they also carry non-alcoholic beverages so we got a Stella. The special tonight was a seafood boil and it was a big meal and very well prepared. See the pictures that I took with this. I got the captain's platter and it was just as terrific with shrimp, crab cakes, flounder and all of it seasoned and grilled, prepared in a most delicious way. All of the servers seem to work together very well. There was not a significant wait for the food and it was timed almost perfectly. Just when I thought we were done, Bobby told us about the blueberry cobbler white chocolate cheesecake dessert. A perfect finish to a great meal blueberry cobbler in front of her Unfortunately it was in the low 40s today so we could not sit out on the magnificent deck that allows you to see the entire Beach coast of Biloxi. They did have heaters outside on the deck but it just did not look that interesting in the low 40s. Update 2/21/24: I can't give them any more stars than what I already have but this place is awesome. Tonight I had the royal red dinner and it was amazing. We also again had a very good server with Bri who took very good care of us. Besides the awesome food here, I have to give credit to the teamwork that the staff shows. They seem to work well together, cover for each other and make sure that no guest is lacking for anything or waiting on anything. There's also a guy named Kenny who seems to do all the cleanup work. That guy never stand still and gets every table back ready for the next customer quickly. Always polite and friendly just like the rest of the staff here.

Such a fun place with a great view of the beach! Palm trees, listening to the waves, nice breeze, great food, overall great experience. We will definitely be back! We sat outside and watched the sun set. They had cute lights on the deck. Kind of romantic 💕. They do have an inside with a bar and tvs if the weather wasn't nice or you needed some ac or heat 😀

My bf had the BBQ burger, and I royal reds dinner. Food was great. We ended with a slice of Key lime, which was excellent! Service was fine. Great colors in the restaurant.

My family of five went here based on the amazing reviews on the service because that is hard to find. Our service was okay but not great. We didn’t see our server for refills until we were finished eating. She did mention she had a part of 15 though so I think they cater to the bigger groups first due to getting a higher tip. Food was better than the service though and I give it five stars! It came out quickly after we ordered and the portions were large. The shrimp sampler was delicious and big enough for my 18 year old daughter and myself to share. The burgers were cooked medium perfectly and were huge. We would probably eat here again and request one of the servers mentioned in the other reviews. Overall good experience!

We loved our lunch at Shaggy’s! It was a beautiful day - we sat inside, but they had the doors/windows open, so it was very much like outdoor seating! The drinks were made perfectly, and the food was tasty and HOT! Definitely recommend, and definitely will be back!

Really loved this place. Food was great, with amazing drinks. Service was unreal good. The staff works together as a team. Atmosphere is so laid back, you feel at home. Are waitress was so friendly, and knowledgeable.

Anna was absolutely amazing. She was so nice and helpful. The staff was nice and pleasant. One of our family has a crab allergy and the Manager was very helpful in her selecting the safest option. The food came out out quickly and fresh. The drinks came out right on time and their bar was great Thank you for a great experience! We will definitely come back here.

My husband and I loved it here. We had the Red Fish, Blue Crab Claws and Fried Green Tomatoes, it was delicious!! We also had the pleasure of being catered to with excellent service from Ms. Gail, Bobby B and Stephan!!!! I truly can say I love it here and we came all the way from New York to Mississippi and it has been a great experience!!!!!!!

It’s been ages since we last visited MS. It definitely changed a lot. As usual, we were looking for a good seafood place and Shaggy’s was the one the kids chose. The resto is right at the beach as pictured. Service was fantastic and food tasted great. Then after our late lunch, we played on the shore with the doggies for a while and the kids were making sandcastles. We had a lot of fun. For reference, they do charge 3% non-cash adjustment if you pay with card. We were happy with everything.

The service was awesome. Shandy was very kind and fun. We ordered several things including appetizers. The shrimp was great. The rest of the food was ok. Not bad at all but not as good as it could be. I never expect much from a predominantly tourist style beachfront restaurant but this one was definitely one of the better ones I've been too.

Cool place! Had the royal reds and coconut shrimp. Both were great. Service was fantastic! Jacob was our server and was very informative as this was our first day of vacation. We will be back!

We came because the reviews were so good and they were absolutely right! Our waiter Zack was excellent. He gave great recommendations and was fun to talk to. The food was amazing. We had the crab stuffed flounder, the firecracker shrimp tacos and the cool chick sandwich. The food was all delicious and cooked perfectly. It sits right on the water and you can sit inside or outside. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have a chance.

As usual one of my favorite restaurants in the US. Travel a ton and take the pups with me most of the time. Most dog friendly restaurant. They get their own menu and get water and food here. Staff loves them and an all around great experience with the beach and gulf views 😊

The server was trying to be helpful but he was talking too much… Tuna avocado appetizer and fried green tomatoes were good. I ordered flounder (crab staffed) with some pan fried vegetables. Honestly, I didn’t like it so much because it was so oily… but anyway, walking after the meal was the best part:)

My husband came here for work for a month & the baby and I came for 2 weeks. He took us here the first night, everything including the staff was really good. We ended up coming 3 more times for lunch and dinner. Food was great but the people who work there were even better. Love a great wait staff. Pretty sure we made a bunch of new friends. Hope to see them next year!

1st off the atmosphere is fantastic…everyone is so nice, but most important the food is phenomenal. Catfish, shrimp, phenomenal. Our server Bobby B was amazing! Will definitely be coming here again!

Excellent customer service! Dee was our waitress, and she was dynamic. She had a lot of patience with us, because we was a large party. I had a surprise birthday gathering there, and she took very good care of us. The manager, Stephen was awesome also. He took very good care of us. Thank you so much for the good hospitality. Will be back!

Make sure to get reservations before heading over, online or call!! We reserved online and got a text for 1/2 off drinks if we showed up before the table was ready, it was worth it!! We ordered fried green tomatoes and captains platter w/veggies. Drinks are good. Service was great for as busy as they were. The staff did a great job managing the big groups.

Awesome place to go eat. Ryan was an amazing server. The food was to die for, highly recommend the Seafood Mac and Cheese. The staff made my wife's birthday an awesome one. Will definitely eat here again next time we're down from Missouri.

Great service, the manager seated us and took our drink order. Our server was prompt to bring drinks and take food order, other servers got us drinks when we started "getting low". Food was good, music was good , and the view was good. We'll definitely go back!

My wife and I went here because we saw the high reviews. Disappointed. The gator bites were dry and not enough. I got the red fish that was the special and it was not that great. My wife was not happy with her snapper as well. These dishes were $27 and $28 and for what we got it was not even worth it. The water we got tasted like fish. Did not understand why. The server was nice. That's about all that was good about the experience.

Stopped by for a couple beers and decided to have lunch. The Royal Red shrimp was outstanding! My wife was blown away by the queso, which came highly recommended by Steven. Our server Ryan took great care of us. Great food. Heart service. The view isn’t too bad either. 😁. Put this place on your itinerary!

Love that you can join the wait online, domestic draft was 1/2 off while on the wait. Host were very friendly and bartenders were very nice also and made great drinks! Food was very lacking. Appetizers never came, another entree came out 5 min before everyone else’s. We were just traveling and decided to stop but if I came back doubt I would ever come back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was great! Got to sit outside with my dog and watch the ocean from a cool table. Good setup here and really nice people working who obviously care about customer service. My server, Alyssa, was really fun and I'm glad she talked me into the fried shrimp because they were delicious! There's a bar and a few outdoor tables that are out of the rain and sun and wind but a bigger area that isn't. Only problem was the wind kicking up and trying to steal my stuff. Good food, "ok" prices, but great service and cool atmosphere!

Geoff was absolutely amazing, the food and drinks were amazing and the atmosphere .. also amazing! 10/10 recommend coming and stopping by! Got the shrimp trio and honestly couldn’t have been happier.

We decided to eat here today because it called my attention. We came in from New Orleans so we definitely wanted a scenic view. Anna immediately greeted us and she was in such awesome spirits! Gave us menu and put our drink orders in super quickly. We had Kacie as our server and she was on top of everything! Always had a smile and gave such great recommendations! Everything we had today was delicious!! Everything was fresh as well. We definitely will come back to enjoy the night time scene .the staff was spectacular and the food amazing! Thank you guys for everything!
