    I'm a crew member staying here but I'm also Diamond with Hilton. The location is great however the grilled chicken Cesar I ordered downstairs was overpriced (no crew discount at this place) the lettuce I was given was old, dry, and browning. I can't believe the fries were better and the stale cookies by the elevator are not a good addition with covid going around again. The heater in my room didn't work. Aside the view, not a great experience here if my company didn't have business here I personally wouldn't stay.

    Overall the experience was fair. It was extremely busy and the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The room was decent. The carpet was stained and the refrigerator was not working. The air conditioning seemed to be off in the common areas - hallways, elevators which is never good in July. The cost of the room seemed to be a bit higher but I figured that was the due to the last minute booking of the room. I would probably not stay at this particular Hilton again since there are better, less expensive options near by.

    This is a really nice hotel. With the guest laundry on the second floor and workout rooms facing the Gulf Coast it’s wonderful to work out. Now the service staff are so accommodating. My favorite is Damien. He’s very nice and understanding with his brilliant English accent. However, parking up close is very limited and it’s very Limited access to the building outside of going by the pool area. But overall very nice hotel to stay at. Get your Hilton Honors set up.

    very nice facility, bar and restaurant made it convenient so we wouldnt have to leave the premises. staff are very kind, typical of southern hospitality. ample space of free parking, well kept room amenities. has a great view of the gulf. will definitely stay on this hotel again for the next visit.

    The hotel is quite dated and could use some modernization. Service was excellent and typical of southern hospitality. The air-conditioner had a mold smell to it. Hand soap wasn't included in the rooms. The location right of the interstate is ideal. Over all it was an okay stay. I personally wouldn't stay at this particular location.

    Feel free to call me petty but I expect a lot more for what I paid for the room. The sink doesn’t work as the faucet handle pops off so I had to use the shower faucet for brushing teeth and washing hands. The iron burned my dress slacks and put melted marks on them. Lastly, the window was so full of dirt I could barely see out. Better hotels elsewhere for lower prices.

    Shower/tub area was not clean where the shower wall meets the ceiling. There was evidence of either mold or mildew in several places which suggests to me that whatever is at or below eye-level gets cleaned by the housekeeping staff. I've contacted hotel management as well as Hilton corporate; however, I've received no return calls or emails from either entity. In general, my room was clean, but the bathroom shower was a failure. Unfortunately, I can't rate the room as 5-stars. If your room is oceanside, be prepared for loud street noise at night from vehicles that were arguably used in movies featuring fast cars and furious drivers! It goes without saying that the hotel can't control Beach Boulevard, but guests should be prepared for loud street noise at night, especially if it's a holiday weekend. The front desk staff, as well as the restaurant staff, were all 5-star! They were excellent in all respects. I can't say the same for local hotel management or the standard of care of the bathroom by the housekeeping staff.

    Do not stay here!! Poor management! I reserved a room that they over booked, so after driving hours they wouldn't let me check in, after watching them check in 3 people. They lie... Absolutely NO help finding a room for me!!! They ruined the weekend.. Pathetic on all accounts!

    Very low rating under the fact that they put us above a laundry center. And we heard washer dryers all through the night. Didn't understand why they would do that very noisy hotel. No restaurant it opened very late. Could not get anything for the breakfast. No hot water For the hot chocolate and tea that they offered and the clerk at the counter did not seem to want to help with getting hot drinks for us. Especially since their restaurant still hadn't opened yet. They were very behind.

    We arrived to the hotel and were greeted by friendly, professional staff that got us into our room in minutes and threw in a couple of warm cookies to sweeten our evening. The room was large, clean , comfortable and quiet. The views of the beautiful live oaks and the beach were stunning. Our stay was so nice we didn’t want to leave. Upon preparing for our departure LaQonna Anderson took care of us and absolutely blew us away with her kindness and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. Staff like her is what makes a stay wonderful. We have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the US and I count this in my top 3. Definitely on our return to locations. Kudos to Double Tree for having such amazing staff!

    What a wonderful stay the past 4 nights. Comfortable, spacious rooms, very cold AC, great food, but more than anything, exceptional staff. Everyone, even the housekeepers were friendly. Jennifer and Willie at the restaurant, made sure breakfast was amazing every morning. They also served friendliness and a big smile. Kudos to everyone doing it right here!

    Walls are thin. Can use upgrades. Mattresses I felt was hard. Couldn't get a good rest. Staff very nice. Breakfast definitely needs to be better if going to charge for it. Rooms needs to checked better before allowing customers to them. Tv wasn't working and was a broken door handle. They did fix right away

    Excellence stay! The check in process was very smooth and our room was available as soon as we arrived! Very clean property, and conveniently located on the strip. Jay went above and beyond for our check in experience! Was provided a complimentary upgrade upon arrival, and made sure all my needs were met, including my request for a gulf view and close to the elevator. 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back :)

    The room was clean and very comfortable. Perfect location and easy to get to. The food from the restaurant was great. They only had one server and he did an excellent job. The kids loved sitting on the patio over the pool and watching the cars. We would love to visit again.

    As a Hilton honors member I was extremely disappointed in This hotel. When we checked in our room hand no toilet paper! The sink did not drain and there was only cold water. The restaurant was the worst. There was one other customer and we waited almost an hour for breakfast. When it arrived it came in a styrofoam box when we were eating in. My guest orders grits and they said they threw them out so have him potato’s with our asking. The sausage was so burnt it was hard to cut. The toast was cold. Then they automatically added a 15% tip!! I will never stay here again. I just wrote a bad review for this hotel including being charged an automatic 15% tip for 2 people with very. As food and service besides all the hotel issues and receive their standard-sorry/not sorry response for my review. I’m a Hilton Honors reward member and expected a much more personalized response. Even their response is poor! I will be elevating this issue.

    Be sure to view every aspect of your room before laying. My 1st room was great, but the heater made a lot of noise. We was moved to another room, which was horrible. We were so sleepy I just had to improvise. The pillows were smashed like they had been used. I put them on the floor & lysol the entire bed & pillows. In the bathroom, it was a used towel on the rack. I lysoled the entire room.

    Great location and pretty good views on the beach side. Serviceable bar in the lobby. The bathroom in our room was not exactly clean - the ceiling over the tub was cracking, no working ventilation fan in the bathroom, there was a quarter roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and no new roll for replacement. Dogs aren't allowed, but somehow there were dog feces in front of the elevator on my floor. Not the hotel's fault, but I think it's an indication that they're having trouble maintaining the place.

    This hotel is not Hilton standard. Hotel is outdated. Lots and lots of stains on carpet, chairs, walls, everywhere. room had a huge stain on floor. There was a brown stain on shower curtain. Hallways are ugly and very hot. Elevators are tearing apart. No free breakfast. But breakfast/restaurant/bar area is very good. affordable and the food and drinks are very good. Pool area needs some up keeping but we enjoyed it anyway. we needed extra towels on the 2nd night and were told they were out of towels. Complimentary cookies were burnt. ugh. We won’t stay there again.

    My mom and I were there February 11-13. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. My mom left her cane in the room. They called and got her address and mailed it to her. So, thank you for being so kind. We would stay there again

    Tyler the receptionist did an excellent job in making my family welcome. The staff was extremely nice. Never have I felt like this at a hotel and I travel across the country. They truly make you feel welcome. We didn’t experience any issues during our stay. I highly welcome this hotel. Everything you need is right in that area. Food, fun and casino is across the street.

    Superior customer service. Best value for price. I've paid this much for a much lesser hotel. Every single employee was welcoming and offering bottles of water, cookies or asking if I needed anything....even the cleaning staff. It's what I would expect from a much more expensive place. Restaurant on site and location made it even more worth the very reasonable price.

    I was upgraded to a not so clean room. The room wasn’t very clean. All surfaces were dirty. There was hair in the shower on the walls. Headboard was not clean. However, the staff was nice and the cookies were awesome. as a diamond member I had to ask for water and a cookie.

    Terrible for a DoubleTree by Hilton. Very rundown. I’m sure the staff does their best but one can only clean so much. Bathroom sink rigged with 1 knob. Only warm water on or off. Shower not hot barely warm. Reported it twice once in the afternoon and once around 8:30 in the evening only to be told that someone will come up to my room to check no one ever came to the room. Air-conditioning is extremely loud grates are full of mold filter looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. I accidentally dropped a drip of ketchup on the ground and took a washcloth to wash off the carpet as not to leave any marks the washcloth turned black from one wipe. Worst Hilton property I’ve stayed in since 2016.

    I was very impressed with this hotel. Our room was so comfortable and we had such an amazing view. The pool was great, super clean and the perfect temperature. The staff were friendly, and the location is in walking distance to the beaches and the casinos. Oh and let's not forget about this amazing cookies! I would definitely stay again!

    A Pleasant Stay with a Few Minor Suggestions I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the hotel/restaurant. The breakfast offered a satisfying spread, including the usual eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The highlight of our experience was the warm and polite hospitality extended by our hostess, Denisha. The breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico from the premises added to the charm of our stay. It was a truly wonderful sight that left us mesmerized. However, I couldn't help but notice that some of the patio poolside furniture appeared to be in need of replacement. This minor issue was the only drawback to an otherwise perfect ambiance. Despite that, the staff, as a whole, were very friendly, kind, and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel/restaurant itself is very attractive, and we appreciated the attention to detail in its design. Overall, I had a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to others. With just a bit of improvement in the patio furniture, it would be an ideal destination for anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant getaway.

    Staff was very nice! I reserved a king 45mins before arrival and got two queens. A common issue with Hilton and do not ever expect to be upgraded as a diamond or international guest in America. I will lose my Diamond elite status this year because they do not get or understand loyalty! I got a dirty, stained room, “but it’s ocean view” doesn’t matter to me!

    It was a great stay for our school during a Convention. We were nicely accommodated with smooth check in and checkout. There were at least two other schools there, and it did not seem overcrowded or overwhelming. I do wish that all rooms had a micro/fridge, but that was ok for such a short stay. The breakfast was amazing! Great guest services.

    Upon checking in the facility look clean. Check in was smooth. Location is good. The staff was kind and professional. Laundry facility worked fine. The view from the room is a good one. Our room on the other hand needed attention. There is mold on the carpet around the a/C unit, there is rust on top of a/c, the boarder that's next to the a/c unit is up with a hole behind it, under the desk/shelving there is bottles left behind,one of the plugs have tape covering it, there was one bath towel and a wash cloth, the toliet paper was leaning with the roll hanging, the toliet is stained, the shower had rust in different places and there are some stains on the bottom part of the bed. I believe this room was not cleaned properly. We would of checked out but it was late.

    Second review of this hotel. Ginger once again is a great asset to this company and has given the greatest respct and service as a bartender. Not only is she great with her service but also a great conversationalist. She is always scanning her customer drinks and always keeps your drink full. Her years of service deserve recognition and a promotion!

    Stayed here before and always had a great time. My kids enjoy this hotel when we go for vacation. It's affordable and right by the interstate for the way back home. Beach access is literally so easy and no one on the beach usually across feom it. The bar and lounge area in the lobby is awesome. There's also a restaurant that is here I can't remember the name but highly recommend it! Also recommend the cookies from the from desk. Usually always very clean and never have had a problem with cleanliness

    Hotel was very clean. The outdoor pool was a huge bonus. Entertained my toddler for hours. Rooms were a decent size. Comfortable beds.

    Overall location and quality of this hotel, even having some age, was very accommodating. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable as usual with higher end Hilton properties. The only issue I really had was attempting to upgrade to a gulf view and being denied as a Silver Hilton Honors Member solely due to booking on Priceline.

    My best friend and I had such a wonderful experience! We couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our girls trip! The hotel was beautiful and was 5 mins from the beach. The view of the gulf was breathtaking and the staff was absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend staying here!

    All the staff were so nice and welcoming. Loved the breakfast and the attendant was really nice and food was really good. Room was clean and comfy with a great view. Will be staying again soon.

    I appreciate the professional service provided by the staff during my evacuation for Hurricane Ida. The staff managed to pull off quality services during a crisis while short-staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. The manager placed on us on a list to ensure we had a room with many uncertainties regarding the date the law would allow us to return home. Rooms were booked everywhere. We are truly grateful. This is our go to place when the storms are headed our way. They have the best chocolate chip cookies. Thank you for such excellent service and comfort during the hurricane.

    This place is awful! I booked a room, then 30 min before I arrive the tell me they over booked and they don't have room. They said it's first come first serve and there are no more rooms. When I get there they are checking people in to there rooms so they lied!! Flat out lied. Then they as if they could "walk" me to another place...what ever that means... So I said fine, get me a place to stay... but did nothing but say leave.. Management is pathetic. All the employees are incompetent. I will never book here again
