Finally,
the
team
Rory
and
Fara
have
a
permanent
home
in
Kings
Court.
What
to
expect?
A
comfortable,
chilled
out
space.
Exciting
homemade
bakes
courtesy
of
Fara
(she
was
serving
up
a
KitKat
Chunky
Brioche
Bread
Pudding
when
I
visited).
Some
of
the
best
coffee
in
Birmingham.
The
usual
change
up
in
local
artisan
roasted
coffee
beans
(keeping
the
regulars
happy).
Extracted
to
perfection.
Served
in
cool
splendid
looking
China.
Keep
up
the
good
work.
Loving
the
black
on
pink
Pause
logo.

Update

It
is
now
using
the
Verbena
restaurant
space
in
Shirley.
Open
7
days
a
week,
but
only
in
the
morning
on
Sundays.
What
you'll
get
is
artisan
coffee
and
a
range
of
delicious
homemade
cakes.
Verbena
is
an
accommodating,
bright
environment
to
relax.
Please
check
it
out.
I
walked
into
Isherwood
&
Co
and
there
in
front
of
me
lay
a
fresh
faced
double
team
ready
to
welcome
me
to,
what
I
believe
to
be,
Birmingham's
best
kept
cafe
secret.
Welcome
to
Pause.
Prepare
to
be
wowed.
You
be
welcomed
wholeheartedly
by
smiley
face
of
staff.
Next
you
gaze
will
be
diverted
to
the
plastic
cabinet
that
is
nearly
empty.
I
arrived
at
11am.
A
whole
hour
after
opening
time.
In
that
short
period
the
2
flavours
of
the
cinabuffins
had
sold
out!
The
staff
member
mentioned
that
have
a
selection
of
savouries
too.
The
barista
was
clearly
deeply
knowledgeable
about
all
things
coffee.
Pause's
plan
is
to
rotate
the
speciality
roasts
on
a
week
by
week
basis.
They
are
also
going
to
experiment
with
cinnabuffin
and
coffee
profiles
to
bring
the
perfect
coffee,
pastry
combo.
I
love
everything
that
Pause
is.
I
love
the
logo,
the
food
they
offer,
the
artisan
coffee
they
craft
and
the
enthusiastic
people
beavering
away
to
make
it
happen.
Fast-forward
a
few
months,
years.
Hopefully,
they
occupy
bigger
premises
and
move
closer
to
the
city.
Better
still,
could
you
relocate
to
my
home.
I
can
think
of
nothing
better
than
having
a
Pause
each
day.
