We got the gyro bowl and chicken shawarma bowl and loved both of them! Rich in flavor an a generous portion! We were excited that this is another option for our neighborhood and highly recommend! Can’t wait try out more of the items on the menu!

Tasty Time at 616 Kabob Stop, Grand Rapids So, 616 Kabob Stop finally opened on Plainview in Grand Rapids, and we had for sure to try it. They have a great big menu with lots of different Mediterranean food items. The people there are nice and friendly and providing a great service. The wraps could be a bit more filled, but let’s talk about the good stuff – the taste. We got the lamb shawarma in two different ways, with some fries on the side. It was really yummy, with great flavors in every bite. The seasoning rocks! We’re planning to go back because they have more tasty things on the menu we want to try. Definitely a thumbs up!

I don’t have a picture of the falafel (I ate it before thinking of snapping a picture but oh my goodness the falafel was amazing! We got also the loaded chicken shawarma fries (small), gyro pita sandwich and chicken shawarma pita sandwich and both my hubby and I loved it. I can’t wait to go back and try more things. The service was warm, friendly, and polite. They apologized for taking a bit but it wasn’t at all long! This is still during the soft opening. We WILL go back. It was all delicious. And maybe I’ll save enough calories for a piece of baklava cheesecake!

Very nice people and tasty food! My daughter and I stumbled upon this spot which had just recently opened, we thoroughly enjoyed a beef Shawarma bowl, and a chicken Shawarma pita. Loved the sesame sauce and their garlic sauce! We also enjoyed a baklava cheesecake, which was creamy and delicious.

I am so excited this restaurant finally opened and I am so glad I made it out during their soft opening. As an ex-kitchen manager, I know how important this time to practice can be. My first impression upon walking in was how great it smelled! The man working the register was so kind and helpful; and even though I was quoted a 20 min wait for my food, I was walking out in 12 minutes. The food was phenomenal. Fresh salad, good amount of dressing, tender meat, and FLAVORFUL rice. I will absolutely be making this place a regular stop after work on nights I don’t feel like cooking.

Had been waiting for this place to open up for a while and was not disappointed! GR finally has a good halal burger place. Ordered their Kabob Stop Burger and it was just as good as I was hoping it to be, the beef was juicy and the smoked turkey bacon on top was delicious. Their menu is extensive and I am looking forward to trying more dishes.

Hubby had his usual and as always was fresh and wonderful, the lentil soup he absolutely Loves, I had the gyro. I’ve had the Chicken lemon soup before it is also great. Everything is fresh and has so much flavor! Friendly, we have never had anything we didn’t like. It’s our go to place!

Excellent food and excellent service. Very friendly staff. Don't expect fast food. The wait is well worth every delicious bite! The best lamb Gyro I've ever tasted!
