I don’t even know why this place is even a business. They have no amenities, no pool, no roof access, parking garage is not secure but they try to charge you for it. The same 4 digit code is used universally. Management is poor. Water bill is a joke . You are paying for everyone water just found that out. They don’t clean the carpets upon move in but charge you for stains when you leave. They literally are trying to run your credit up. I was threatened and harassed for money but yet they could not handle any of my issues whatsoever! I do not recommend don’t live here for ALIGHT FORMELY UNIVERSITY HOUSE

i decided to renew my lease because we got new management. that was a mistake. if you call about a problem it forwards you to a different office that takes a message and you have no way of direct contact with management unless you happen to see them on the premises. i’ve called the number connected to their offices and left my name and phone number for a call back about issues we have been dealing with. i have received no response or communications from them. when you pay your water bill you are paying for EVERYONES water bill. the water works company sends one collective bill and management sends everyone a very high bill. we are paying almost 100 dollars in water every month when we barely use it?? do not live here unless you want to pay for other peoples water usage. the trash service here is the worst. there is trash all over the building, in the halls, in the stairwell that just festers forever. there are stains all along the carpets and a stench coming from every stairwell. there is no sense of security when living here and everyone is given the same code to get in the building. the back alley is open for anyone to come into the garage. do not live here. it is sad to come home to a building that is never cleaned and never anyone to talk to when you have a problem/issue. poor management and poor services. see attached photos.

Please ignore the fake 5 star reviews. This is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever lived in my entire life. There’s always dog s*** in the hallways that stays there for days. We are supposed to have “valet” trash but they only come like once or twice a week. Noisy neighbors. Unhelpful management. Everything in here looks and IS cheap. My balcony door broke. My shower curtain fell. Fridge BROKE. Apartment was flooded at one point. The trash outside is always overflowing which causes a big problem with flies. Constantly getting new leasing mangers. I’ve lived here for 6 months and there have 4 different leasing managers. Plainly put, they don’t keep the building up. Had major problems with Maintenance coming into my apartment unannounced with no warning. And they’re slow to respond. Sometimes they would come in when I wasn’t there and leave the door unlocked or OPEN! Rent is too high for what these apartments are worth. Power bill is high. Water bill is high. IM COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS until my lease is up. Honestly if they let me out of my lease now I would be thrilled!!!

Probably the worst place you can live. Management is terrible and never stay past three months. Getting in touch with someone about your problems seem to be hard. They never answer the phone unless you are trying to move in. The price is not worth it. The doors that are supposed to be for security are always unlocked and the code never changed for years now. When you do talk to management they have no clue what's going on. Sometimes maintenance will say they have completed your request when they haven't. Charged me for a power bill but for some reason I still owe Alabama Power.

Very very bad, the staff is not helpful, I asked for maintenance several times and he comes and then says I forgot something downstairs, I will attend and then did not return, I strongly advise not to take an apartment from here

Lived here for 3 years and I'm so happy to finally be out. I've seen many different management teams come and go. All of which have never solved these problems: trash is every where, the whole building smells terrible (I hold my breath every time I leave the apartment), security, and theft. I've had packages stolen from me. Also, the water bill is a joke. Don't live here unless you want to pay other people's water bills. The rooms are spacy and the location is right on UAB's campus, but the environment is loud and the management is poor.

TLDR: You get what you pay for. This apartment has beautiful views from the balcony but the walls and carpets in the halls are disgusting. Maintenance can be slow at times but new staff has proved to be helpful so far. If you come to tour you can see that this place hasn't been cleaned properly in a LONG time. The "fitness" center is ok. There are also some safety concerns that need to be addressed urgently. For the cost and sq ft, you can't get anything better or closer to campus*ive tried*. What you see is what you get so if you expect a five star experience, this is not a good fit for you. I love it here. Very quiet.

Great location! Quiet neighborhood, close to a park, close to campus, close to the interstate. Management responds quickly to requests - Eric and Cole are easy to work with if issues arise. Love the off-street parking which is pretty rare for this neighborhood.
