If you need or want to live in Birmingham AL, the only place you should live is the Citizen Birmingham. First, the location could not be better. You are 3 blocks or less from Railroad Park, Publix, various breweries or other social venues, UAB hospital, and dozens of restaurants. The pricing for this apartment is extremely reasonable. I am about to start medical school at UAB and I am maybe 3 and a half blocks from where all of my activities will occur. They offer countless accommodations and resources for everyone. Also, they are connected with MintHouse, so my parents are going to move me in and then stay in a hotel room in the building as opposed to having to go somewhere else. There is nothing about the Citizen that they have not ensured is the best quality. The ONLY downside is that parking is not right next to the building, but there is a parking deck a block and a half away that they reimburse for monthly parking. For as long as I am in Birmingham, I will be a resident here.

Great environment ! Everyone has been very helpful !! It is well organised, and all the process is simple and easy. The apartment is very comfortable and the view is great! I enjoy the coffee in M floor, the social spaces, and all the digital gadgets ! Additionally, the works of art and the wonderful interior design add up to the great experience of living in the citizen!

Wonderful property in the downtown area. If you ever need anything, the leasing office/maintenance is super helpful. The hallways are super cool with local artwork all over. M floor is amazing if you ever need the workspace with building wifi available.

I loved my experience at The Citizen in downtown Birmingham! The location was perfect to walk to work in the medical district plus it is so close to everything - Publix, Railroad Park, Red Mountain Theatre, Regions Field, and so many great restaurants! I particularly enjoyed using the Tesla vehicle-share when needed since I didn't have a car in downtown. Brittany is amazing and all the staff are so kind and friendly!
