This park is so beautiful! This is my go to for a nice walk. They have nice ponds with beautiful fish, turtles and ducks! It's a great place to take pictures because of the nice scenery. There's places for skating and picnics. They have the best events here as well.

Even if you’re from out of town and are just looking for a place to walk around and absorb a little beauty & character of Birmingham, this is a lovely place to spend some free time. Plentiful street parking (yes, parallel, but these are the largest parking spots I’ve ever seen!!! You could fit a truck 😂). Even the drive to get here was scenic! First time in Alabama, never knew this place was so beautiful

Railroad park is located at downtown Birmingham. I went there many times but this is first time I am writing a review. It’s an awesome place to hand with friends and family.

Fun park with lots of sights to take in and things to do! The trail is a nearly perfect .75 so two laps makes a great 1.5 mile loop around the outside. Loved working with the staff when we hosted a race here. You get the beauty of a park with the metro surroundings! Cool setup, if you’re in the area - check it out!

Such a happy, clean park to take your afternoon walk or jog. It’s a nice loop or worth adding to your city run 🏃‍♀️

Railroad Park offers a well-maintained, refreshing respite in the middle of the busy corridor. You'll enjoy the art work highlighting the timeline of the city's history and prominent figures at the main entrance. The park features great spots for outdoor gatherings, jogging, exercising, walking your furry frinds, and enjoying a relaxed day by the pond. The park comes alive at night with its inspiring great lighting. Better yet, You'll enjoy a wonderful sight of the city's skyline from here. Parking is available on adjacent streets and the park is accessible through trails that traverse the park from multiple directions.

Great spot to hang out, to walk, run, relax or just see the city skyline!🙌 There is a really nice pond on the side of the park by the train tracks! Food trucks are normally somewhere around!😊 Still an amazing beautiful spot to go for picnic, exercise, hang out with good conversation.

It's so beautiful out here! I got dressed for prom and came here with my friend and her boyfriend to take photos and it was so nice! The whole scenery was very gorgeous, clean and green! I'm definitely going to come back here to get my senior graduation photos and senior prom photos! I recommend it, it's really very beautiful and great for pictures.

Beautiful park, especially when the flowers are blooming. We went to the Greek Festival and brought the food to RR Park to tge nice picnic area. There were children all around playing and people walking their dogs.

Always a place to enjoy. Fresh at the Birmingham downtown area close to the Regions field stadium, pubs and coffee shops. You can walk in it or around in the way to Avondale.

I love visiting this park. I just went for a walk after work today with a friend and we saw multiple photographers taking advantage of the golden hour. So many dogs running around and playing! There was also a small workout class going on that the park hosts. Such a beautiful asset to Birmingham!

Awesome park to get fresh air and enjoy the beautiful views. Clean, well maintained and exposes the deep rich industrial rail history that played an integral part of Birmingham's growth and development. Many amenities in walking distance to easily make your trip here a half/all day event.

Beautiful trail that runs parallel to the street. Saw a nice coffee shop along the way. Nice place to pull over and stretch your legs on a long drive, which is what we did. Would love to visit again when I have more time

Nice big park. Playground is smaller than you would expect relative to the other aspects. No obvious bathrooms.

Pretty downtown park with great views of the cityscape and the occasional trains passing by. Very walkable too, which was a nice touch

This is a beautiful park with events happening all the time. Plenty of space for a variety of different activities. Usually the bathrooms are clean with park staff present throughout the day. Very popular place to bring your dog for a walk, although I have noticed some owners are disrespectfully leaving their dogs "droppings" instead of picking it up and throwing it in the trash cans around the park. But that is not always the case. There is a large seating area with tables to eat and a huge grassy area to have a picnic. The water is stocked with fish, ducks, and turtles that are fun to watch.

It was a magnificent experience with my girlfriends yesterday at Railroad Park! The Rotary Trail was a joy and was safe and beautiful to see with plenty of bikers and walkers to boot. Love love love the atmosphere here and the beautiful lofts and businesses nearby are a huge plus all in walking distance ❤️
