Poor customer service, staff lack of aware of which customer is waiting or not , order 3 course meal pudding arrived like never, food presentation 8/10 , taste for some was 9/10 and for main meal 5/10 fish and chip were cook in old oil hence why the disk look burn chips and fish , positive side good atmosphere, nice and clean. Value for money 5/10

We came for lunch, the atmosphere was nice and quiet not many people in the restaurant. We had a lovely table. The ordered from the lunch menu which had a nice variety to choose from. Table service only. We were served quite promptly for food and drinks. The food was not too bad, it took longer than expected just under 30mins for two lunches and a side considering there was barely anyone else in the resturant. The steak sandwich was well cooked, it would have been nice to be given a choice. This was our second visit and on both times the food service was slow. Happy with the quality of the drinks and atmosphere.

Had the bottomless brunch here last Saturday. Good pricing, lovely setting, decent variety of drinks with the option to upgrade and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon!

Lovely venue. Free parking at the front and rear for about 25 cars. You must enter your vehicle reg at the bar area digital screen for this to be free. Draught beets around £4.50, town prices are £6.50 so great deals here. A huge restaurant area, well lit, plenty of tables for couples, groups, and larger families. Kid friendly. Disabled access at rear with a disabled toilet on the ground floor. The food adequately priced. I had a Mediterranean Pizza for £13.00. I was hesitant, though it was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Give this a go. It's definitely one of the nicest and more upmarket venues in Moseley.

Never judge a pub by its exterior. The Village is a case in point. It may look unimposing, open the door and prepared to be dazzled. I love the modern well-lit, spacious, high-ceiling interior. The bar counter is central to this space, a seamless separator between the bar and restaurant. The restaurant is cozy. I love the comfy, cushioned booths that are spread around the interior. Service is professional and caring. There timing of food delivery and questions was perfect. The food selection maybe British, but has enough variation and breadth in ingredients to be interesting. I opted for a vegan selection: sweet potato croquette, jackfruit pizza and sweet potato shepherds pie. The croquettes were presented beautifully. The pizza was a textural showcase. The pie was hearty and flavoursome. The Village is so cool and comfortable. It’s definitely recommend for any social occasion.

Booked a bottomless brunch to celebrate very good friends wedding anniversary. Fabulous experience. Food was lovely and drinks regularly refilled. We upgraded to cocktails and they were freshly made each time. Staff were very pleasant and the lovely girl from Canada ( sorry didn’t get your name ) was amazing. An absolute pleasure to meet her. Highly recommended.

Went for the beef Sunday roast - won't be going back. Food came out 5 mins after ordering and looked and tasted like it had been sat under the lights for a while. The beef was overcooked and fatty, the veg was undercooked. I couldn't actually cut through the thickest part of my parsnip as it was pretty much raw. Gravy was very thin, yorkshire pudding was most likely Aunt Bessie's. For £18 I'd expect much better

I booked a table for 15 people a month in advance. I had confirmation of the booking and didn’t hear anything else from the restaurant. I emailed 3 days before the event to add people to the booking and received confirmation that they could be added. On the day of the event I received a call asking if we’d be attending as they were going to cancel the booking? I asked why I wouldn’t be attending as I’d asked to add people to the booking a few days before and was told they’d sent menus and not received a reply. I’ve checked my emails and I did not receive any menus or requests to prebook the meal. When we arrived someone came to the table to take a drinks order. Nobody came to the table to take further drinks orders as more people arrived. Throughout the meal guests had to go up to the bar to order drinks as nobody bothered to come to the table to ask if anyone wanted to order more. Everyone arrived and was seated but it took half an hour for someone to come and take a food order. Food took a while to come with some people finishing their food before others even received theirs. Once I got home I checked the receipt and saw a £30 service charge had been added to the bill. Usually I would be happy to pay a tip, especially on a large booking however the service was non existent and definitely not worth a £30 tip in this case.

Thank you so much for making our 40 year Reunion so special. When we arrived our table in the "snug" area was already laid with goodies for our afternoon tea; plenty of delicious food. Veggie and vegan food catered for too. Endless pots of tea. Staff were helpful and attentive, special thanks to Marta for fantastic communication and reassurance during the last few months.

Came to the village for Sunday roast yesterday. Had the chicken and beef which was beautifully cooked. Served by a waitress called Kelly. The service was spectacular. Kelly was very professional and welcoming, she really made our day. Looking forward to returning around Xmas. There is also free parking, enter details at the bar on the tablet. 5*

We had a delightful afternoon tea at the village for a 40 year reunion. We were set up in a corner area that allowed us to have privacy but still have the atmosphere of the pub. The table was set with a glorious spread with vegan options. The staff were very attentive and a great time was had by all. Well done ! Thank you to Marta for making the organising so easy x

Lovely little pub! Staff are incredibly polite and friendly. The food was amazing. Peri peri chicken burger went down an absolute treat. The place itself is absolutely stunning and very clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Village pub at the end of Moseley Village. They were able to accommodate our party of 5 outside in their covered area at very short notice. Staff were a delight, very helpful and attentive to our comforts despite us being the only ones outside and the food was great, included pizza (larger than expected), hake main (crushed new potatoes and gorgeous sauce), salad, burger and chips. Drinks. Nothing was too much trouble. Inside clean and bright and nicely laid out. Can't sing their praises highly enough definately worth a visit. Thanks!

A great place if you want to enjoy a good night with friends. Music is perfect, you can dance and drink, it has different ambients so it’s perfect if you want to dance in or out. It is located in the Gay Village.

Early visit on Saturday morning. Very nice layout. Well spaced seating and tables. Good service very few customers first thing. Probably better atmosphere when more people but appears popular for lunch as range of tables reserved. Will probably try the food on a future occasion.

A very comfortable place, tastefully decorated. The music was a little loud especially if you want to talk with companions. The menu offers a choice of expected favourites at mid range prices. Service and food was good.

Lovely food. I had the brisket burger, and it was actually hot. How many time do you go to a restaurant and the food comes out warm, and you think "how long has that been out on the side?". Not here, the food was hot, fresh and plentiful. The pudding was equally cracking. The sticky toffee pudding, again, was hot, very filling and I couldn't finish it. Staff were polite throughout and were happy to help and go the extra mile. Even asking about dietary requirements (and on that note there were clear options noted as being suitable for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarians). Birmingham is a great city, woth lots of food places in the centre, but this restaurant that sits in Moseley is worth a visit.

I've been going to the Village for years, but more recently I have been going more often. The team that work very hard there, are wonderful and lovely to chat to. The food is always really good, I've had pizza's and Sunday lunch that was delicious, and I will continue to enjoy the Village pub! I recommend you try it too.

We have been here a number of times over the years. Unfortunately this occasion was very disappointing compared to previous visits. We went for Sunday dinner with family and the service was very slow at every stage. The food was average and Yorkshire pudding primarily consisted of oil. The best way to sum it up is very overpriced and lacking in atmosphere. As a side note, the children's menu has pictures of a variety of food, some of which aren't actually on the menu but just the design, this did cause a problem where our kids wanted things they thought were on the menu but actually weren't

A light airy restaurant with lots of atmosphere, excellent food and sometimes live music. Book early... By Sunday afternoon, some of the most delicious dishes maybe sold out. Friendly, helpful staff - great with the kids Looking forward to our next visit

Amazing food with lots of choice on the menu, great decoration and really clean modern vibe! Staff a little unorganised but very friendly and helpful. A wonderfully relaxed evening with family. Lots of spacious seating with outdoor areas.

This was my second time going to The Village. The live music was wonderful, ambience was relaxing, and the nachos were delicious. The waitress this time was very attentive despite the place being a bit busy which was better than my first experience where we waited 20 minutes for water then had to go get it ourselves. I'll definitely be back again for drinks and the truffle mac n' cheese. :)
