Today visited for the first time. I had my Christmas lunch with my work colleagues and we were served with all the attention by 2 amazing people (sorry I didn't get their names). The food was absolutely amazing so I took everyone's food picture haha very good for the prize. I was full after my main and couldnt finish my desert. Will surely come back

Incredible food and atmosphere. Their reputation precedes them and its very well deserved! Though I felt our server could have been a bit more cheerful, we put it down to a bad day, but we love having conversation with staff. She was curt, cold and seems inpatient when we took a little time deciding. A friendly face could have made this experience a 5/5. (In pictures below: Thai friend calamari, Thai crab cake, sweetcorn cake as starters. Pad Thai Noodle dish with prawns as mains. Mango & Passion fruit finger as dessert to share)

Staying for a few nights while on a conference. Tried this Thai restaurant. Service was very good. Had prawn crackers and ribs for starter and Seafood Pad Thai as main. Also had Thai sticky rice with mango for dessert. Presentation of food was very good. Was a little disappointed with ribs as it seems to be the same type of ribs from my local Chinese takeaway. However the rest was very good especially the dessert. The cocktail was also very good. Overall was a good dinner.

This is the best Thai restaurant in Birmingham!! Many dishes are quite flavourful which reminds me of food back home🥹🇹🇭 If you come as a grp and want to share the food, don’t forget to ask the staff to separate the rice from the dish. Just a mango sticky rice, mango is too sour🥲

First time to this particular Thai restaurant. Went as part of a group of five friends. Reasonable atmosphere not over busy. We opted for the set menu (£45 pp). Service was very average, not particularly friendly and or helpful. Food was average, fish cake starters were glutinous without flavour, prawns in batter were overcooked. Main dishes were nothing special, but plenty. Main courses all arrived at once, which was a challenged to accommodate on the table. Reasonable choice of wines. Desert came well presented. Overall have had better more authentic Thai cuisine for less.

We had dinner here last night. It is a beautiful restaurant with lots of staff and has many great reviews online which was why we went! We had the Siam feast set menu at £45 / person which is quite a high price point but thought we’d do that as the reviews were so positive. The sharing platter arrived and it looks great and there is plenty of food accompanied by a satay dip sauce which was nice and a clear syrup, apparently plum sauce. This had no flavour or body mostly you’ll get a sweet chilli sauce with this type of plater to get a little heat and sone contrast . The chicken satay skewers and spring rolls were lovely. The disappointment was really not much flavour in the prawns , or the “golden bags “ and the squid was also coated in batter and chewy . The mains all arrived together and we were struggling a bit for space as there is so much food. We’d swapped a chicken dish for a papaya salad, which they were fine with and no problem to do, which was good customer service. Unfortunately, this had been made without any chilli in it at all and didn’t have much flavour. We explained this to Abbie and the dish was remade , again good service. However the replacement was over loaded with chilli so masking any other taste ! Really good Thai food has a brilliant balance between sweet , salty flavours and some heat and I feel they didn’t achieve this, especially when they are charging so much for the food. Service from the waitresses was very good, they had 3 managers about, one asked us about the food literally just after the waitress put it on the table and we hadn’t eaten any of it !! Another was on his phone and didn’t seem to do much. By the time we finished the restaurant was very busy and had a good vibe , just a shame that overall the food experience wasn’t in line with the cost . £119 in total including set menu , 2 deserts , no drink ( free tap water ) and 12.5% service charge , for 2 people , that’s a lot of money!

The place| @siamaisuk definitely goes on my top 10 pretty restaurants to visit. It is super Instagramable and just so beautiful 😍❤️😊 The restaurant has an outside seating area and an inside seating area. The decor in the outside area is full of brown and beige tones and full of comfy pillows all around super cosy and amazing to sit and chill. The inside decor it has a full story to tell as soon as you walk in, it reminds me of a Thailand garden 🪴😍, so much to see and so many beautiful things to look at, such as hanging lanterns, and caged skulls, beautiful light, gorgeous tones of red, brown, pink, green, blue, gold, chandeliers, roses, planets and flowers and so much more. The bar area is well lit up and just looked great. On the walls, you will find a lot of great Thai artwork ♥️♥️♥️ a few different styles of tables and chairs ( great for pictures 😍😅) Location| 6, 7 Brindley Pl, Oozells St, Birmingham B1 2HS, United Kingdom Opening hours; Monday to Thursday 12:00-23:00

This cranberry flavoured treat has kiwi caviar bubbling throughout.) BANANA & PINEAPPLE BLEND - if you like smoothies this is the one for you 😍 (Coconut, banana and pineapple. The best Thai in Birmingham. I have spent time in Thailand so like to think I can appreciate good Thai food, this is the best I have tasted in the Uk. Only thing I personally do not like is the automatic inclusion of the service charge on the bill. Where you have to ask for a different bill to have it taken off. You will be hard pressed to find a better Thai (especially in Bham)

This was my first time trying a Thai restaurant in the UK so I was very excited. I was so happy with my experience here so I will give it 5 stars. The restaurant was very clean including the toilets. All staff were wearing masks which made me feel 100% at ease, the flavour of the food was soo good, the service was also attentive. I don’t usually dine in restaurants like this so I am unsure of the type of average pricing for the food, it was more expensive than what I had Imagined but in my opinion it was worth it as I did feel full/ satisfied afterwards. I Have already recommended this to my family and friends as I will be returning again!

We were a group of six that had lunch at Siamais and we were all really impressed - fabulous friendly staff, top quality Thai food and stylish surroundings. Reasonably priced too. Do also try the cocktails which are excellent. We would definitely love to go back when we return to Birmingham.

Really lovely place! Food was delicious and the staff were really friendly - only negative was being charged £4.50 for water for the table which we weren't expecting! Have recommended to friends and will be returning 😊

Really attentive and kind waiters they kept a good eye on us duri g the whole experience didn't have to wait for anything. Food was gorgeous I can vouch for all the starters they have got the recipe to the T. HOWEVER if you prefer a more flavour packed dish avoid the stir fry and opt towards the curry for that punch of flavour wasn't to spicy at all and the sauce that comes with the golden bags makes my mouth water 😍

Very good thai restaurant. The tom yum prawn soup was delicious and the green curry really good although a bit too 'coconutty'. Really cheap as god knows why i got £10 discount - a real good surprise. Staff is very nice. All safety measures are in place.

Utterly stunning food and cocktails at Siamais. Not very usual to go to a Thai restaurant and have lots of options. Veggie platter, vegetable massaman, vegetable Pad Hed. Cocktails of course, plus a Thai sticky rice pudding with mango that served as my wife's birthday cake... Amazing food

Served by the amazing and affable Ashanti. 🤩 you would be “Foolish” not to try this place! I never had a bottom to my glass of Prosecco! The food was unreal, I just wished I could have had 2 starters as I was very conflicted! However, the Satay Skewers and Massoman Curry is perfect if you fancy a meal with a nutty finish! I would 100% recommend this for you and your family/friends! They also had a variety of vegetarian substitutions! 🤙🏼

Had an amazing Birthday meal at Siamais today. We had set menu C, which was great value for money. There was so much food that we couldn't eat it all! FYI they do take out! The starters were the best, but my fave mains were chicken and cashew nuts and the Thai green curry. Abbie was our waitress and she was great. Really friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

First-time very pleasant and nice décor and food lovely, need to update mocktail menu as one had small chunks of kake not blended and not mentioned in ingredients and it was quite unpleasant.

Disappointed with the service and the food. We has to wait for very long for someone to get our orders. We ordered prawn cracker which never arrived. Starters were great. Main was bad, I ordered beef with chilly and basil. The beef was minced with just soya sauce and chilli. I hate minced meat and it wasnt stated on the menu it was minced. My partner ordered seabass and it wasnt what we expected. It was watery with no spicy sauce on site. My drink was 2/3 full considering it was £10. We asked for toothpick but was given a triangle cocktail stick which was useless. No one came to check if our food was OK. Only towards the end when paying they asked if everything was OK. I dnt think i will come here again. Waste of my money and ruined the birthday mood

Came here after seeing all the good reviews and were excited to try the food as we love Thai food. We are very disappointed. We came for a mid week lunch date. The restaurant was very quiet. From the moment we walked in, the service was slow and lacklustre. It took a long time to be greeted and then seated despite there only being about 2 other tables of people. No one came over to take our order until the bartender came over and took it, saying she didn’t know the menu well. The starter took awhile to come out and then the main took half an hour after we’d finished our starter. Again, the restaurant was nearly empty so we were confused why it was so slow. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken satay was 2 skewers, one chicken breast and one thigh although the menu said nothing about there being 2 types of chicken. The Thai green curry was okay, not the best either of us have had. It was a very expensive, mediocre lunch that lacked customer service or any sort of ambiance to the restaurant. Regret going here.

Amazing food and amazing service! Jorge was attentive and very friendly! I ordered the salt and chilli prawns for starters which was delicious! As well as the Red curry with prawn! Feet for birthday celebrations! I loved it!

Loved the atmosphere inside, only downside: we were outside and the heat lamp kept going off and on and it was a cold wet day, plus our food took a while to come. However, our waitress Laura went above and beyond for us. She was kind, friendly and very welcoming. Thank you Laura for making our dining experience an unforgettable one.

An overall enjoyable experience, with delicious and authentic Thai flavours, and fast and friendly service. I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for top quality Thai food. My only minor negative was that I wasn’t able to enjoy more of the menu as the starters were a little expensive, and I’d fell for the £4.50 still water, rather than asking for tap water. However, this certainly wasn’t enough to put me off and I would visit again because the food was brilliant.

Went with friends, this was a birthday treat. We had bottomless brunch. Food took a while to come in-between courses, very, very busy lot of hen parties, couldn't hear other people in the party talk....food was lovely and tasty.

Just popped in for a “dinner for one” while here working. Good food, served quickly. Seafood noodle salad was excellent, tom yum prawn soup and salt &pepper wings were also tasty. Beer was ice cold and crisp. Made very welcome - service extremely attentive, very friendly and also in no way overbearing. Enjoyable little treat. Kudos to the front of house. The maitre d’ and both of the table team who served me were great.

Lovely early evening dinner with my kiddies. Lamb and chicken is halal so perfect for us. LOVED the food...quality and very flavoursome. Really child friendly, my 7 yr old son commented 'mum, they're so friendly here...like me!' Ha ha! He loved the satay chicken and the molten chocolate cake! My 9 Yr old daughter loves the sweetcorn fritters and the chicken pad thai. My favourite was the prawn in red Thai paste... delicious! Looking forward to returning post lockdown.

My partner and I popped in here for a drink to finish our night off after having a meal next door. The service we received was fantastic. Pai in particular spotted that I had a bouquet of flowers with me. She enquired what the occasion was and I said they were for my birthday. A short while after she came out with a dessert on a plate and 'happy birthday' written in chocolate and a candle. It was such a lovely gesture and kind thing to do. You really made the ending of our night special, especially how life is right now. Thank you 😊

Continuing the Thai trend, I had been meaning to visit this place for a while and luckily managed to book in for the last day of its October #eatouttohelpout offer. The inside is very bright and visually appealing. A large and varied menu is available. Staff are wearing PPE and tables are distanced with hand sanitisers on the table. I went for the below; Starter - Satay Chicken Skewers -- A classic with peanut sauce. Absolutely amazing this was. Very rich in flavour and tender chicken. Peanut sauce was nice and thick and went well with it. Couldn't fault it 😊 Main - Stir Fried Sweet and Sour Pork -- My favorite at a takeaway. The best of both worlds in terms of flavour. Fluffy steamed rice came with this. The sauce was not overpowering. The pork had a firm texture to it and a crunch too. Again as per the starter I had no issues 😍 Diet Pepsi pint was £3.50 on top. Not cheap but not expensive either. Overall this came to £13.20 after #EOTHO. Service was friendly and efficient with plenty of staff on hand to assist. It is noted that if you wish to book a table here, I had to pay a £5 non refundable deposit which is taken off your bill.

I was standing outside this restaurant on Saturday, with my daughter and son-in-law . They had just got married, and were having a few photos taken, in front of the ikon gallery. So a couple of staff / managers came out and insisted on giving us a free glass of bubbly! What nice people & what a nice gesture!! I shall definitely go and have a meal there soon.

This is a wonderful Thai restaurant with fantastic decor that gives it a romantic exotic feel. The food was delicious cooked to perfection my favourite being the chicken balls which were exquisite. The service was good and meal was quick to arrive. A wonderful place for a romantic or friends night out. You also have an opportunity to have a picture on the romantic summer swing that is there. Worth the visit.

For general earing the decor is a bit dull for a thai restaurant plus no thai staff on this time afternoon. I like to see the thai staff in a thai restaurant. The food was good, boo nim softshell crab, laab and tom yum was delicious. I also ordered green mango salad. This was actually a ripe mango salad and when queried on it I was told the outside of the mango was green......um. well strange as I actually wanted green mango and wasnt intending to eat the skin. !!

NOT IMPRESSED. Read so many good reviews About this place. Very disappointed indeed To keep it short and to the point, seating dirty and not doesn't look at before you sit on it. Starter was ok, the main was vile, tasted like mushy peas. Waitress seemed very stressed. I wish I would have trusted my instincts and walked out. Such a shame as it is my birthday today. Seriously the place needs a good deep clean, The toilets were filthy. 😳
