Since we were searhcing for a Halal Nandos, we found this one to be certified and decided to go for Dinner. This place is very easy to locate from the city center area. As usual the food at nandos is always awesome and we completely enjoyed it. The restaurant was understandably busy on an event day plus with it being a Friday. The service was fast and the food was usual Nando's quality.

This Nando’s is fantastic, Danny one of the most accommodating guy you’ll ever meet. The staff are brilliant well spoke & very polite.. The food always comes out fast so you won’t be waiting to long & it never disappointing.

No sauce sachets or tubs given to take out customers. That is not acceptable, nando's is only delicious with the unique sauces. If Nando's doesn't want to give out free sachets then I would be happy to pay for them.

We were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered through the app as per usual. The food took around 25-30 minutes giving the cooking process we weren’t too bothered about since they also brought us some starters we asked had ordered at the counter. We ordered half a peri chicken with two sides and a peri wrap with one side. The chicken was acceptable on the edge of the uncooked but we didn’t seem to give it importance since it could be a personal preference. The wrap was an absolute disappointment. It was unseasoned chicken with a mushy and sour lettuce on the inside, and a rock hard and uncooked tiny wrap. I asked the server to cook it correctly as resulted chewy and uneatable they simply said that this how they make them so even if they’ll remake it the end result would be the same. Now I’m not a Nando’s cook however for the last 10 years I’ve ordered the same meal and never ever I had like this tasteless thing they call wrap. I ended up eating with my partner who shared the meal with me and left unhappy and still hungry. 1/10 avoid this branch

Good atmosphere, well cooked food served quickly on a Saturday evening and in order. Staff could be more consistent with the levels of service. A few were rude tbf and didn't manage the queue well. For food on Broad Street then 4 is far

Nice, decent Nando’s. Definitely the most spacious, cleanliness was good. Got my usual meal. Butterfly chicken, garlic bread and peri salted chips. Probably the first Nando’s for the food to be actually spicy all the way through. Helpful staff too. Might make this Nando’s my regular spot.

Visited this evening, was quite so didn't have any issues with getting a seat. Tills were down so had to order online, took a while as had to download the app and it was playing up

Although Service was fine and Atnosphete was good. I come here for the food and unfortunately Nandos has gone down hill. I have tried several bramches and they are all the same. - Small portions 0/10 - old chips that are heated up 0/10 We visites this branch Friday at 7pm and told the food needs to be cooked and will be 30-40min wait. Sure it is fresh way not. The chicken was fine not as it used to be pre COVID. But the chips were disgusting they were old and had be heated up. The Shop Floor Manager with the fancy Moustache was very keen on speaking with his female staff rather then greeting, welcoming and bidding his customers fairwell. I was very shocked at how he ignored customers and was happily chatting to the female staff. And we were there will over an hour. I won't be returing unless I was reaaaalllly desperate and that says a lot. Nandos!!! what happened you used to be my go to as a student back in 2007-2011. Portions were massive back then and Flavor was amazing. Your chips used to be the best.!!! Why did you change and let your standards slip. Even Dixy Chicken has better chips!

Chicken wings were great: perfectly cooked and crispy, the hot was surprisingly hot. Chicken breast was a bit dry though. Good value for money.

I’ve found hair on my food. It’s the second bad experience at this restaurant. Deffo not coming back.

Nando’s never disappoints but what stood out at this Nando’s was the service particularly from the manager. I don’t remember his name but I believe he was Eastern European. He was very polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning

Staff here are excellent, really welcoming and good at what they do. The service was quick. Food was a little bit of a let down, the chicken was a little dry and overcooked sadly. I dined solo, and enjoyed my time there. I had a glass of wine which I don't normally, and was pleasantly surprised how well it went with the meal.

Went with a group of 4 my food took so long to come out they was nearly finished with there meals when I received mine, waiter did apologise but then 10 minutes after my food had arrived they come to the tables with the same meal again, (mix up in the kitchen) only other things I will add, it was a Friday night so was quite busy felt like we was packed in like sardines, and tables where sticky. Overall wasn’t a bad meal not the nicest Nando’s I have been too.

Had a lovely lunch here today (19/07/23). The Team were great. Food, service, cleanliness, all spot-on. The Manager was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Me and my wife have been here multiple times and have always had a good experience. Today I would say was the best. We came in and were told there was a short wait to get a table but long wait for the food. We waited and then got our table and ordered. We were then told by the Dan manager that the food will take another 35 minutes and he apologised. He offered us a free starter and dessert for both of us and kept checking on us too to make sure we were looked after. We also had our baby with us, luckily he was in a happy mood and fell asleep when the food came. Staff were very helpful too and polite. This is my favourite Nando’s to go to and I’ve never been disappointed.

This is one of six Nando’s within walking distance of each other in central Birmingham. This one and the new street one are both halal. Haven’t eaten in here yet but I’ve got food delivered. Ordered a sunset burger and the juicy chicken thighs inside were cooked to perfection. Food was delivered much quicker than I expected.

Customer service is fantastic! And the wait was only around 10-12 minutes, however the chips were not crispy hot instead tepid at best… and the peri salt thrown all in one location instead of spread, clearly very little care taken… fortunately i informed the gentleman who seated me and within 45 seconds he was out with a fresh plate of chips which he seasoned evenly. Well done to him on a fantastic customer service.

Arrived 22.40pm they close at 23.00. The store was extremely busy but after explaining we had a long drive home after a concert, they allowed us to order and were amazing. Thank you to the guy on the door and the manager. We really appreciate your hospitality and kindness. Can honestly say I’ve never ever witnessed a grumpy member of staff at any Nando’s I’ve visited, in fact they’ve all bent over backwards in any situation! Thank you Nando’s Birmingham and the many other Nando’s I’ve frequented over the years!! 🙌🤩

So busy but the food was worth the wait, great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the wings and the sunset burger.

Shocking service, we told them we're aiming to leave quite soon as we booked to go to the cinema. They said it'll be fine and we'd make it on time.... I could see 8 tables free and I was told by the entrance staff that she was not ready to seat people at the table so we waited.... I saw other customers order their food alot later at the counter whilst we ordered on the app. They got their food first I asked how long will our food take, i was told it'll be 4 mins after waiting 15 mins and over 35 mins in total they offered us a pathetic excuse of an apology and a takeaway box. Will not be returning here again. Food portions were small, dry and hardly any sauce 😕 funny part was they didnt have any perinaise. Come on! What Nandos doesn't have perinaise? Very Disappointing.

we went into nando’s broadway this evening to break our fast, the staff were friendly and helpful but in particular the manager, Mumin. he was very accommodating, dealt with our requests and displayed a positive, friendly and professional attitude! he really made this trip great for us! he is clearly fantastic at his role and the store is lucky to have him as their manager

I was greeted with a smile by a friendly young man called Dacaprio. He was very helpful and approachable. He advised us that we can order through the app. His manners and customer service was amazing. Keep up the good work.

Regular visitor to Nandos , this was the first time to this branch in a while and was quite surprised at the difference in hospitality. The staff weren't rude or anything like that, it was just that there was no friendliness and we were left standing at the door on entering for at least 5 minutes ignored by 4 or 5 members of staff. Restaurant was not busy at this time and there were plenty of tables ready for punters. Same when ordering, no engagement with team member. Nobody was rude, they were just indifferent. Its a shame because when you compare this to the branch in New Street, it is polar opposite. Friendly, engaged staff and looking after us. The above might seem a small point blown out of proportion but my wife and I both noticed it enough during the evening to talk about it. Ours kids commented on it also. Service was ok, a couple of things got missed off our order which I had to go chasing. Food was tasty but not very warm. Fizzy drinks tasted sickly as if the mixture was wrong and the sprite was just flat. In summary, food mostly up to normal standards, service and staff far below previous standards.

A little bit of that Nandos magic has gone. Portions are smaller and service staff clearly don't get paid enough because they always seem to be understaffed. If they paid workers more, they'd probably have better service and better revenues. Cost cutting is a dead end street.

Tried wings share platter, we liked the wings very much.. it goes well with Nando’s sauce.. we tried mild and hot sauce.,

Staff were friendly and provided good service however portion sizes are really small. Ordered a kids nandino meal for 2 starters as chips, literally received a handful of chips. I've been to several Nandos restaurants however the first one I've seen with this small portion size. Also double chicken pitta wrap came with no salad. All in all not a great experience.

Lots of people, noisy, service on average takes 20 minutes. Delicious meal and you can take out if you do not finish your food.

Not so bad after all. Well on their way to redeeming themselves after a couple of poor experiences a few years back. Choice is limited but the food, on my two most recent visits to two separate restaurants in Birmingham City centre, has been acceptable! May think twice about stopping when I'm next walking past the door of a Nandos, of.an evening out.

DANNY FOR PROMOTION! You would think this would be one of the top Nando's in Birmingham as it is on broad street, right? WRONG. Food was cold and dry, I changed it 3 times and the staff didn’t care. The only person that took the time to listen to my complaint was one of the staff members named Danny. When my food came back out it was as I liked it. I never write reviews but wanted to say thank you to Danny, he is a lovely guy, his manager said everyone loves him and I see why. Truly cares about his customers. I hope he gets promoted soon. As for food take a trip to New Street
