Visited the outlet with a voucher which said " claim free small pizza" on one side & other side "any large pizza for 7.99£". When I approached the store, the sales person (the rudest person I have ever met after I came down to Birmingham!), saw me holding the voucher & he instead of greeting me with a smile, directly said "NO! Come tomorrow". Hearing this rude response I was surprised & asked him "why?". He responded with a very weird question which I am unable to understand even now "What do you mean why?" I mean how do I respond to such a question? I asked again why do u ask me to come tmrw because I'm not there in the area. I wish to have the pizza today. But then he kept saying no rudely (without stating any reason) and walked away. My friend also told sir your very rude. I further asked can you please tell me a reason to why your objecting our request when we hold a valid voucher which we got the previous day! The voucher doesnt have any expiry date/conditions apply written. He kept grinding his teeth and he just moved to the next customer ignoring me. I again reminded him he is rude to which he responded "I've told you for five times, your not understanding" to which I asked the customers who were standing there showing them the voucher and asked what they understood after reading it. They all said its clear! Its written free/reduced price pizza. The sales person further asked "what do you want me to do? What do you want? Give you free pizza?" This was with a sick & rude sarcastic tone. I would've understood if he said "sorry, there is some mistake on the voucher. Let me get you a drink/pizza/snack for the inconvenience". He ddnt say "So sorry, how can I make it up to you" nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing! He kept insulting me in front of others by ignoring me & giving rude replies. When I said I want to meet the manager, he told with a prideful tone "I AM the manager!" I felt I ddnt get any justice! It was such an embarrassment! His colleague also rejected my request & asked to come tomorrow. Papa Johns was my favorite spot for quality pizza. I had gone there for the large pizza & not the free pizza! I was ready to pay.. I dnt know what should be done regarding this. I won't be surprised if there are countless others who has had this experience from this sales person! Edit 12/10/2023 - the store reached out to me and made it right. It was an honest mistake which is predictable on any busy day. I am very glad that they have done the necessary! Thank you for making sure customer satisfaction is your priority!

This is ridiculous for a 23 pound pizzz that I can’t even eat. It is crumpled not cooked properly and seems like a bit wet maybe. Disappointed ,never will order again 😖

Coming from North America, this pizza would be less than half the price charged in the UK and it would be at least twice as better in quality. It’s honestly less than half in $ than it is in £, does flour and cheese really cost that much more here?? Don’t let yourself get ripped off in the UK!

One of the best pizza place in Birmingham with a lot of discounts for students. The staffs are very friendly and the pizzas are very delicious and tasty. The first I tried it, I order multiple times and was afraid I so I don't get addicted to it. You can try their ALL MEAT PIZZA and thank me later.

Absolute joke of a service, repeatedly lied about delivery being on its way/outside. Wouldn’t answer the phone and wasted an hour and a half of our evening. Never received the pizza, will be pursuing a refund through head office. Massive let down to the pappa johns brand. Stay away.

I ordered food from here waited almost 2 hours and guess what the food is still not here. No courtesy call to say they are going to be late or that there is an issue, no communication at all and they wouldn't answer the phone, ringing out like they owe me money and are avoiding me....well they owe me a pizza! Pizza that I thought I'd be enjoying an hour ago. To put it quite simple this is not the level of service I expect from Papa John's, absolute let down, first time ordering and definitely the last. Absolute let down, waste of time and money! The owner should definitely be concerned. 👎🏽

Pizza didn’t even arrive. New owners do not know how to run a business. Waited up for 2 hours to find nothing ever come. I would give 0 but it doesn’t go that low. I would recommend Other pizza shops. Leave this one. You will be disappointed.

The pizza was dry with hardly any tomato base and hardly any cheese, awful management and customer service, I was also told i couldn't have a dip either but every other time I have had 1 in the box as standard

ordered through deliveroo and the food never arrived. both the driver and restaurant didn’t make any effort to contact me in regards of the order. after deliveroo costumer service managed to contact the driver he claimed that he left the the food by the doorstep but there’s nobody at my security camera footage

Placed a large business lunch order online at 8:56 in the morning for delivery at 12:45. I called at 12:51 to see where the order was and was told that it would be 15-20 minutes late. Lunch was supposed to be at 13:00 with a 1/2 an hour break. The tracker said the driver left at 13:04 with 11 minute travel time. Order was not delivered until 13:53!!! The driver was lovely and the staff helpful and apologetic when I called, but I will not be ordering from this establishment again. Do better Papa John's - over an hour delay is excessive!

DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT! I literally stood in the rain for almost an hour waiting for 1 pizza, I called and the manager lied to me and said the driver would be 10 minutes.. an hour later and still nothing, the worst part of this was that the manager would not answer over 10 calls, and as soon as my partner called on a different number they answered, absolutely disgusting, terrible service and the pizza never arrived. Please don’t use them.

Ordered a few pizzas and some sides to be delivered to my hotel, and was keeping track of the delivery via papa john's website. I was at the reception desk when tracking said it was delivered. It's been over an hour and I haven't seen hide nor hair of my order. Tried calling a few times and no one picked up the phone. Now I'm out £30 and still hungry.

First order with Papa Johns. Chewy dough that didn’t seem fresh and both pizzas tasteless and luke warm. Delivery driver was polite though. Won’t be ordering again. 🤮

After ordering a pizza delivery and ringing to find out where the driver was told he was just around the corner. After waiting a further 30 mins no sign of driver when I rang the branch was told to stay on the phone whilst they contacted driver to find out where he was after waiting on the phone for 15 mins I gave up.when I called back they never answered my call. Very unprofessional. Finally driver arrived 1 hour 20mins later. The pizza was cold by then. we didn't even eat it. Diffinately won't be ever coming back. Not even an apology. From papa John's.

Honestly the worst papa johns I’ve been too. Taken over an hour at an off peak time, cold food and messy boxes - some unlabelled. Not very nice at all. Do not recommend.

Slow service, pizza was not hot nor flavorful. Wouldn't reccommend purchasing from this place again. Paid for delivery but because of such slow service I had to make the journey myself, which cost me petrol money and time wasted. Lack of communication in regards to delay and overall poor service.

I ordered a pizza but something went wrong with the system and it did not process. My money was taken and the staff instead of trying to help me tried to offer me a leftover Hawaiian Pizza and trying to tell me I ordered to the wrong store. I can only assume they thought I had something to drink because it was late at night but I did not and I was completely sober. I checked out as guest so I had no confirmation but I was completely disregarded by the staff and told to speak to the manager in the morning. Utterly disgraceful

8 times out of 10 inadequate delivery drivers. Always taking up to 2 hours to deliver stone cold pizza. Not even apologizing for putting a wrong postcode on their navigators. Compliments to the chefs tho..although this time pizza had eyelashes on and pizza boxes weren't sealed as usually.

Me and my Partner are staying at the children's hospital and we went there for so hot food as we wanted a pizza as we got in the the guy who served us could not speak English we ordered 2 pizzas and a side . (1) first of all the side came and it was wrong then we sat there for 20 min waiting for the pizzas .but nothing happend thenthey ask us what we are still doing hear . So we had to order the pizzas again and a new side (2) no body was useing gloves with the topping and (3) some guy was picking his nose around the corner. Never will go back there again avoid avoid avoid

The pizzas here have been getting a lot better lately! I think they finally stopped loading their pizzas in sauce. Everytime I'd order a pizza with extra cheese it wouldn't make a difference because they always over did the sauce. I'll definitely continue to order from here!

Don't have any issue about the hygiene or the normal service, but the customer service and delivery service during Covid is terrible. I ordered a pizza to be delivered to the reception as I am self isolating and can't come out of my flat for anything, they flat out lied about not being able to go to the reception even after I called the reception and confirmed with them that that wasn't the case and they insisted on going to the Tesco's next door for some reason. The driver went INSIDE Tesco and waited, if the reason they were so awkward was that they were worried about their driver being exposed to or getting infected with Covid then they wouldn't send them to or into a Tesco's which is guarantied to have more people than a reception located about five ft away next door. Finally the person I originally called (I imagine the manager) called up demanding to know why I wasn't at the Tesco's even though I had already explained the circumstances, so I had to tell them again that someone from the reception was going to pick it up for me and that they were going to call the driver and sort it out with them. After I said that they immediately hung up. So if your ordering to anywhere inconvenient or need it delivered to someplace nearby due to Covid restrictions don't get anything from here, it's honestly nowhere near worth it.

My friends strongly discouraged me to try this pizzeria, but I decided to try it anyway. I was very disappointed by the two pizzas and the two sides I ordered. All have terrible quality, even one side is completely blurred.

Took them 1 and a half hours to make and deliver 1 pizza 0.9 miles away and then offer me a £5 voucher pizza was cold and squashed when arrived nor a good experience.
