Fresh tasty chips with whatever sauces and seasonings! Nice little snack and decent portions 👌🏻👌🏻

This is the perfect place to eat if you want fast food in Birmingham city centre. There are so many different flavours you can add to your chips! I continue to make my way around on the menu. Only downside is you can’t sit in but I don’t really mind that.

I visited Awsome chips today to buy a cone of chips and observed some very unhygienic practices, the bottles of sauces were extremely dirty, and looked like they had not been washed in months and just refilled with sauce, the bottles were almost grey/black in colour. I then observed a worker using what looked like an extremely dirty washing basket to put chips in, the basket was thrown in the sink and then some chips were loaded into the basket when he lifted the basket there was green mould under the basket, Additionally he carried the basket to the fryer with water leaking from the basket all over the floor and did not seem at all bothered. When I was handed my chips, I saw that the bar which they use to stand the chip cones was extremely dirty, there was salt, dried sauce that was evidently not wiped for days and splashes of oil all over the counter. The person serving me was wiping his hands on his clothes and then proceeding to carry on with fulfilling my order. The place is extremely dirty and I am shocked they are not being monitored being based in the city centre.

Me & my husband visited this place with our baby. The chips as per usual were absolutely perfect! I had the ketchup & chilli combination, it was the best! Went for a medium portion and it was massive. Washed them down with a lovely strawberry milkshake. It was pouring down with rain so we stood inside and ate our food. The staff were very attentive and very polite. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Excellent service - the staff are very polite, and take care of all their customers. There are no tables or dining in. Just take-out. It's very convenient for a quick lunch or takeaway at the end of your working shift. It's in a very busy and compact area of Bull Street, next to KFC. It's almost a street style food place with an open shop (no shop front) and the order is made super quick and fresh on order. The takeout packaging always improves, with more options now on the menu is Chip Burger. They have countless sauces and fresh ingredients. The menu is entirely based on potato Chips and adding flavour with other ingredients and cheese (if preferred).

Not the greatest atmosphere in the world but that's due to it not being a dine in place. I recommend anyone who enjoys eating anything to go here at least once in their life due to the wide variety of different options you can have on your chips.

Great chips, They make them fresh all the time and taste really nice. The vegan burgers are really tasty too.

erm. normally brilliant. i normally only go to town for them haha but i just ordered a big order with melted cheese on and ermmm. where is it. theres like. one or two specs i see. but the chips are as dry as old boots im struggling to swallow with the dryness. theres the picture of them in box. and a picture of the same order a few months ago. before they got stingey with the cheese. they cost enough money so to be cheap and skimp on the cheese isa no no. can confirm they have lost my custom now. also a pic from before when super cheesy

Lovely burgers, lovely service. All vegan and their burgers are also nut free!

Chips were good but the ‘no chicken’ burger was very disappointing. Soft and mushy interior although the breadcrumb coating was tasty. The vegan nuggets from most supermarkets have a better texture! Shame, it let down what could be a great product. Staff were friendly enough eventually (a bit curt at first) There’s no dine in option despite the main photo on here

I have to say, the pizza fries from this shop are hands down the best I've ever had. They're always so fresh and incredibly yummy. I've become totally addicted to them, and I find myself recommending them to all my friends. If you're in the area, don't miss out on these delicious treats!

It is only one of the few places which serves only veg and vegan food. Everything on the menu is vegetarian. Quality and quantity both are sufficient. You can fill your tummy with reasonable prices. Try it if you are a fan of chips.

I really loved the melted cheese with chipolte dust chips recommendation, it was soooo delicious and such a good combo, cant wait to try more or their food, the staff were very kind and helpful, 5 outta 5 overall. Dont hesitate!

Had piri piri spice, very hot chili sauce, garlic mayo, chipotle sauce chips, the customization was very specific and absolutely yumm and couldn't get away from the excellent service by Shayaan. Absolute favorite, would definitely visit again.

GOOD GOD HAVENT HAS DRY CHIPS LIKE THAT EVER, FUNNY ENOUGH THE ONLY THING THAT TEMPTED ME WAS THE NAME AWESOME CHIPS, THE CHIPS ARE DRY DUE TO LEAVING THE PATATOES OUT TO DRY BEFORE THEY FRY, THESE AINT NO CHIPS AT ALL THEY TO TO DRY. ILL ALSO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO USE SARSON VINEGAR WITH A BETTER QUALITY SALT, ASHAME AS THE CHIPS DONT FIT WITH THE NAME,ITS BETTER TO TAKE CHIPS STRAIGHT OUTTA THE WATER N THEN FRY

This is the best meat free burger I have ever had. It was delicious and the chips are also very nice. Plus the guys made me feel very welcome and customer service was very good and professional.

the chips are so good and the portions are hugeeee. they’re so well coated and not dry at all. the new karak chai is also amazing. great customer service too. 10/10!!!

I been to other places but the customer service here one city centre birmingham is awful like the guys serving Don't want to work there (grumpy, dead service) food is nice but if the service is bad i ain't coming back they need to fix up. These people need training. The owner needs to check up on the service otherwise you will loose customers.

The quantity and quality of chips are amazing, staff is friendly and food is definitely recommended.

I challenge anyone to find better tasting chips then this place in Birmingham, trick question you won’t. Only minor little concern which I would say is maybe reduce the price just a tad bit but isn’t too far off what I would of paid so I’m happy to give this 5 on the basis the quality is strong.

The chips are delicious but the vegan chicken pieces were very bland unfortunately - but good service over all!

I cannot express how many times I have come to this shop. They do one of the best chips I have ever eaten. The food is fresh, hot and with so many choices you cannot go wrong. The prices are so reasonable also! The owner of awesome chips is so friendly and kind and always goes above and beyond for his customers ensuring they are always served the best. I remember dropping all my chips as soon as I stepped out the shop, as soon as he noticed he stopped me and gave me a whole new portion. Embarrassed of the mess I made right outside his shop, he didn't mind one bit and made the whole experience a little less embarrassing lol. The place is clean and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend anyone who visits Birmingham City Center to visit their shop :)

Awesome Chips??? Nope, sorry, not worth it. Firstly I asked for burger and chips and was charged £6.75, which I thought was not unreasonable (burger was priced at £3.45) but what I got was chips......for £6.75! Still I reserved judgement, chips done well can be fantastic, alas they weren't.

Food itself is okay, but the prices are ridiculous for what is essentially basic chips, plus you have to pay extra for sauce and seasoning

The customer service is great, and the staff is very friendly, food is deffo 10/10, and everyone i go the chips are so fresh, with such a wide selection of sauces u can literally make any combination, and if u don’t know they get creative and make a surprise which i absolutely love, but overall it’s a 10/10 and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap filling snack.

Love the vegan menu and the portion is quite generous. I’ve tried it a few times before and the taste is always good. The pizza fries is also one of my favourites

The choice you can pick is pretty good a a wide range of variety from different sauces and spice. However the wait was over 10 minutes from ordering which I found unusual as the chips were picked up behind already cooked. Didn't find it great value but was alright, for the price I wpuod suggest many different places.

Was craving awesome chips and the pizza fries definitely satisfied me! Great customer service and delicious food.

My everyday stop for my lunches. Never have I ever got disappointed with their freshly hand-made chips. Each day is a taste of a new flavour with a touch of spice. The customer service is 10/10 with great staffs who are always happy to help with choosing what would be best. Would highly recommend visiting this place 👍
