The gardens are vast and eclectic, with everything from manicured wall gardens, rambling woodland walks and duck filled ponds. Plenty of walks around the estate for all levels of activity. The house itself is a marvel. Stunningly decorated, full of incredible art and a sense of history. Though we were sad not to be able to climb the tower and see the priest hole as it was closed for renovations.

Another great National Trust Property! Took my 2 kids, 2 & 5, so much space and nature to explore. The house is stunning and still in use by the family. Very much recommend this place!

Lovely house, beautiful gardens, nice cafe. Small play area for children but also lots of open space. Interesting tie in with Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot. Riverside walk, two churches. Nice place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful gardens and surrounding woods and walks. The house is fascinating, as is the church, but it is the gardens that are outstanding and well worth the visit. There is a cafe, complete with outside seating area and toilet facilities. All in all, a wonderful day out.

Beautiful house, grounds, Gardens. Staff so friendly and took time to talk to us. Facilities were great. Ice cream even better and the children's activities were fab! Lots to see and walk around. Could easily spend the day there.

Interesting story, which we did not know. The house was disappointing, very dark ( we know about conservation and the effects of light), but the house needs some serious TLC. Gardens are really good and worth the list alone. Food options but seemed to be restricted, many options runout by 1230. Entry off main road is difficult to spot and easily missed, satnav directs people to the exit

Beautiful property and gardens with extended grounds and riverside walk. Amazing history to both the property and family, very knowledgeable volunteers on hand to pass on their wisdom. Very interesting connection to the gunpowder plot. Two churches to visit as well. Very nice cafe /restaurant area also small coffee and ice cream parlor. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very pleasant visit here. Easy to find with plenty of car parking spaces. The grounds are all very well maintained and the house itself is a very interesting place to walk round.

I have been visiting this National Trust property since I was a child, and went back as an adult recently. It was just as beautiful as I remembered. Sadly the tower and some rooms in that area weren't open due to ridiculously high temperatures at the time of our visit, but the bits that were open were beautiful, with lots of information about the property, the family and the history of the area. There was also an animal trail for my daughter to follow, so she had an interest going around the house too - nothing worse than a bored child! The grounds are stunning and there is also a coffee bar which sells light snacks and ice cream (much needed on our visit!) as well as a larger cafΓ© for something more substantial. All in all, a beautiful place to visit and I hope to return soon.

Lovely and very historical National Trust property linked, as it was, to the Gunpowder Plot amongst other things. Set in lovely grounds with great walks and scenery. Nice cafeteria, too.

Classic national trust. Love the bog garden and small, but beautiful bluebell woods. Note its usually heaving on bank holiday weekends, consider taking a picnic and avoiding the queues.

Beautiful Tudor place. Barbecue on site for everyone to enjoy. Plus there is two cafes with indoor and outdoor seating. The house is stunning. In the North Wing the Throckmortons still live there and there is no access there. The gardens are beautiful and its only the beginning of spring. There are 3 walks you can do ranging from 1mile to 8 miles. Great day trip out. There is also Dovecote national trust but not open. There isn't much to see there.

Wonderful location, especially on a sunny, spring day. Fascinating history attached to the property and the volunteer guides were all very knowledgeable and added that extra information about past and present occupants. Lovely grounds too, well worth a visit and make time to go into the two churches too, all together made for a great trip out.

Follow the brown direction signs and you won't get lost. Good quality parking. Back to where you drove in and let your tour begin. This is not a stately home and there are no spectacular pieces. It is a large private residence with a story and interesting curiosities. Enjoy the family portraits. In the dining room look for the long single plank refectory table. Subjectively it's the most interesting piece in the whole house but well hidden. As always the volunteers are exceedingly knowledgeable. Save time for a leisurely walk around the very well kept grounds and visit Tim's Wood. The cafe has the usual fayre but beware of the nearly 1000 calories croques.

It was nice visit to Coughton Court today. We visited with kids. There is a lot to see and learn. Staff they are packing the stuff now that’s why it looks little messy but they will be unpacking again to see everything. Beautiful nature. They are plenty of car parking and toilets as well. There is cafe and shop to buy food and souvenirs. There is a plant shop too. You can do long walk as there is acres and acres beautiful gardens and green areas. You can relax.

Wow! What a tremendous amount of history here. Well worth a visit. Lots of art, and antiques on show, lovely gardens. House currently undergoing roof repairs. Satnav warning, mine wanted to use the exit(coach entrance), the house can be seen from the road and the entrance easy to pass.

Lovely house and beautiful gardens even in the autumn. Was slightly disappointed with the remodeling and refurbishment works preventing a full tour. Art works largely limited to the family portraits.

Lovely scenic gardens and lakes, plenty of walks through woods, parkland. Courtyard where you can have drinks and eat, plus plenty of areas for picnics. Very accessible, husband had wheelchair and we could access lots. In manor house , hr could only look around ground floor, but they offered him a tablet where it showed him all around the house and all about thr history of it. Well deserves a visit.

Such a beautiful place, alot of space to park too. As members we could visit for free, which is great! The grounds were amazing, beautiful flower gardens and orchards. They do supply small bags with fidget toys and headphones for anyone with Autism (Our daughter is autistic) to keep them busy whilst visiting. All round lovely day out. Shall be coming back soon!

I’m not a huge fan of national parks etc but this is a lovely little one. We went on a day that was sunny but not hot. I enjoyed the river walk. I would recommend but I wouldn’t go again personally. Their shortbread biscuits are the best I’ve ever tasted!

Lovely place but be aware on busy days like a Bank holiday, if buying food the queues are massive and took over 25 mins for two pasties and two hot drinks. Lovely gardens and plenty of space to picnic. Expansive walking areas.

Against loads of history at this house with strong links to 1605 and gunpowder plot. House is great with fully furnished rooms, routes may differ depending on staff on duty. Gardens with various routes, take the woodland walk to see the carpet of Bluebells around April. Cafe on site has hot and cold food available and pretty standard NT stuff.

Lovely gardens and woodland walks. Shame the house was closed due to lack of volunteers. Would probably have been 5* otherwise. Best to check before visiting. The walled garden was a delight.
