Cafe Ceramica is one of my new favourite places! I have been taking part in their adult workshops that they run on a Tuesday night every month/every other month and I am having such a great time there! All the staff are lovely, helpful and take a genuine interest in your ideas and what you are making. The price of the workshops is also very good given what you learn and what you physically take away. It is a small-ish shop which can probably hold around 10 to 15 people at a time. They also serve hot and cold drinks. Outside of the workshops you can make things and paint a selection of ceramics including animal designs, plates etc. They also offer children's workshops. There are also other services they offer such as commission work and other crafting materials, so definitely worth popping in if you have any sort of interest or would like to try it out. I attended the midday workshop and it was so enjoyable , I’m definitely coming back to do more !! Cannot wait to see what my plate looks like glazed !!

We've been a few times and never had a bad experience, it's always lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. Last Sunday we had a particularly good experience - we came in to get some prints of our 1 year old, and we warned Karen that the last time we came in, she didn't like it much and was quite difficult. Karen really took time with us, was very gentle and kept talking to both our kids (we had our 4 year old with us as well - she wasn't painting but did keep talking and Karen always responded). The prints were so easy this time and we are looking forward to collecting them! A huge thank you. We've only ever had prints done here but they've always been beautiful.

First time I was here, it was my daughter's birthday. Kids really loved it, a very nice place to celebrate. Kids were 5-6 years old and they really enjoyed painting. I was upset, I had to look after kids and couldn't paint myself. So we came one weekend after, and it was brilliant. My wife, two daughters 2 and 6 years old and myself spent 1.5 hrs and no-one got bored. Thanks to friendly staff and a big collection of ceramics.

cute afternoon with my 2 year old, girls in the shop were really friendly and helpful considering it was our first time they explained everything. we chose butterfly and we didnt feel rushed to paint it, they explained all the colours and how many layers of paint made different shades and explained what to do when we had finished. so we finished and handed our butterfly to the lady who took our details and provided a receipt. They offered to write my daughters name and the year on the back of it before they cooked it in a kiln. and then i came to collect it after a week, I'd definitely go again.... just be warned that its not cheap. i paid £4 just to sit down at a table, the butterfly we picked was about £14. so its not the most expensive but it is definitely a good £20 day

We had the best time today at the Cafe, painting a plate and a pencil pot. It was lovely for myself and my son (17) to switch off from technology and do something good for our mental health for a couple of hours. We came out feeling very relaxed and calm. The staff are really lovely as were the oat milk cappuccinos. We will definitely be visiting again.

I visited this place for the first time ever with my friend today. We had such a great time! Staff were so friendly and helpful the hot chocolates were sooo tasty and pretty aesthetic😋had a wide range of different pottery ranging to different prices depending on what you pick. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again highly recommend!!!🥰💕❤️thankyouu :)

Lovely place to go pottery painting! There is a selections of cups, plates, bowls, letters & ornaments 😊 Location is a bit out the way but it's nice discovering new places! There are also other stores in the area to have a browse and a restaurant.

After going in and booking and paying a deposit, with the date booked written on the receipt of 7th October I was then told we were not booked in for this date, to then have to wait a further week until 14th October - I was called today Friday 13th October to cancel our visit for tomorrow and that my money could not be refunded through their system, which business does not have an accurate accounts system to refund a payment, more importantly TWICE you have now let my very excited daughter down and disappointed! Updated: You had stated Sunday was the next date which we are unable to make! There was no extension of the offer of half price pottery throughout the entirety of any call, changing a date once is acceptable but for twice within a week becomes a distinct pattern of not caring for a business or customers. Please clarify true facts of the telephone as I have. I have issued a charge back for the deposit paid ironically to ensure we turned up!

Cosy and lovely place, the staff was so helpful and explained in a detailed manner how to potter paint. The staff doesn't rush your artwork if you're close to the end of your allocated time slot. Very kind personnel. Overall very good experience and will definitely come back.

I can only highly recommend visiting Cafe Ceramica. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating and it’s such a fun day out! My wife and I recently went and it was such a relaxing and creative way to unwind. You are looked after well by the staff, provided with painting tips and offered drinks throughout the session. We weren’t rushed either and will most definitely return. Thank you!

We’ve been on the 6 week pottery course with friends and have loved every minute. Kate, Ella and the whole team worked so hard every week to make sure we were all on top of things. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we came away feeling like we’ve seen every step of the process in detail. Kate was always happy to dip into her wealth of pottery knowledge and Ella is a master at the hot drinks and paw prints! We’re so sad it’s over! Thanks so much Cafe Ceramica!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a wide range of pottery available for all ages. I would highly recommend to all.

This is the first time I have been pottery painting. Took my 5 year old little girl for a half term treat. It was amazing, the girls (Alice was one of the girls) were lovely, explained everything to us & always happy to assist with any other questions we had. We will definitely be back. Also the hot chocolate with crushed malteasers was amazing!!!

Lovely place, calming peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff. Lovely place for a date! Been with partner, young niece and mother, everyone enjoyed their experience. Highly recommended, always return here

Very enjoyable activity. Spent 2 hours here with my family. Provide plenty of choices regarding pottery pieces and lots of colours to paint with as well as pens for finer detailing. £5 each for studio fee but overall price depends on the item you choose to paint. Really fun thing to do. 5 stars

Really nice afternoon out with my nephew's. Bit more expensive than I expected but staff are really friendly and there are plenty of things to pick from to paint. Nice location at hungry horse with other shops to look around to. There is also a nice farmhouse bistro to visit for lunch after.

There is a great amount of choice of pottery to paint ranging from approx £5 for a coaster to £18/20 for a plate. There is also a £5 paint and firing fee. Sessions are 105 mins long, which gives enough time. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are even snacks and drinks available to keep you going.

Always a great experience! The footprints of our little newborn are phenomenal. Tiles, baubles, figurines etc you name it and they probably have it to be painted / decorated. Great experience. Friendly and quick turn around.
