Friendly staff and a good selection of Meals are well presented and priced, tastes good served quickly. Interior is well decorated, clean and tidy with plenty of seating. Bar is for adults only if you want a peaceful area to sit, not many pubs have this option. Interesting pictures and maps on the walls of the area in times gone by. Good sized car park and easy access. If passing give it a try, not many good old pubs left that offer service and a friendly welcome worth a visit.

Great meal at the hungry horse & a gig upstairs the new rock club, an absolute amazing venue. We're losing so many rock venues and I'm so pleased this has become one, let's keep this one going fellow rockers!! We will definitely be back. Whitesnake Journey were FANTASTIC.

Great food, great drinks , fabulous service. Large car park at the back. Excellent service. Great family pub with family area where there are TVs in the booths. Waitress was very polite and even brought a spare plate for my son to enjoy the food. Lots of room and has an outdoor kids play area. There are daily deals everyday and the Greene King app works really well here . Top tip make sure u connect to the WiFi as mobile signal is weak inside. Finally , just to add the toilets here are brilliant, cleanest pub toilets ever !

Had a wonderful experience at the Billsley Rock Club, staff were incredible, drink prices were good, only down side was how extremely hot it was but it was in the middle of the heat wave!!

Went to see a gig in the Rock venue upstairs and was very impressed. Great sound, great selection of drinks at the bar, and amazing value. The staff were great, special thanks to Nancy for looking after us 🀘. Please support this venue as it has plenty of great gigs lined up....we will be back πŸ’―.

What a great venue. It reminded me of the UK years ago when pubs this size were the norm. The rock club is in a room above the aforementioned massive boozer. There was plenty of space for onsite parking and the Guinness was amazing. The sound was first class and everyone pleasant and welcoming. 3 cheers for the rock club! Well worth seeing someone there even if it is a back water of Birmingham.

Most of the staff are great, but last night went out with a small group for a birthday and everyone had a meal too. I ordered vegan nuggets and garlic mushrooms, when the guy bought my food over he proceeded to fat shame me and said I had too much food for just myself, as someone with disordered eating this didn't sit right with me. We ordered drinks later on and he bought them over and he complained that he had to bring them over too? Me and my friends usually love this place but it's really put me off going again

Superb place. Came here for the first time to watch BeMUSEd a MUSE cover band in the live music room upstairs and it was superb. Great atmosphere, affordable drinks and great sound space. I will definitely be coming back.

I do like this pub/restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff and good service. Did not have to wait long to order my food (you have to order at the bar) I have eaten here a few times and I've enjoyed it, however this time I was not that impressed however I am okay with that. Would still recommend this place.

It's a pub. That's what I tell myself whenever I go with the family to eat there. They have good deals. It's on the cheaper side. Drinks aren't too expensive. But the food isn't particularly tasty. They love sauce. They'll slather anything with it. The burgers will drip with it. The ribs are coated so much that's all you'll taste. The service is on the 'I don't really want to work here' side. A little grumpy, in my experience. But it's a pub. I've yet to go to one that blows my mind. So if you want decent deals and you're okay with subpar food, I guess it's worth going to.

Fantastic pub. Stopped here for breakfast on our way to pairc festival. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Full English Breakfast was really good. Went back later in the day, staff had changed and the next shift were as friendly as the first. Well worth a visit. Advertising weekly live entertainment. I watch as they bought meals out, all looked really good and people enjoying themselves.

I visit the Billesley for their regular gigs upstairs (which are great!). The pub itself is fine. Reasonably priced drinks and the staff are really efficient.

Very friendly staff. Food was very good and service also. Its not a cosy, quaint pub, but you can't have everything!

Took my mom to lunch to the Billesley what a grotty place. The menu holder was stuck to the table Food was not good at all I had lasagne and it was obviously pre prepared and re heated to order. There was only two other tables occupied even though it was at lunchtime, I noticed one table only ate less than 1/3 of there food including singed sweet potato chips . A lot of food was left on plates on another tables including more burnt sweet potato chips. A large lump of chewing gum was stuck on the underside of our table . There was no atmosphere in the place. The chef should not have sent out the food I saw on my visit very poor. I will not be coming back to the Billesley. You should take a look at the Red Lion Howard road/vicarage Road what a difference!!!!!!

Five us went this evening for my mothers birthday. We all enjoyed our meals; so compliments to the kitchen staff. Also, I wish I could give a shoutout to the lovely woman who served us ( I think she had reddish hair in a ponytail and a beautiful big smile) she was so nice an friendly. Servers are often treated poorly by ignorant customers so it's important to encourage them when they are doing a good job. I will definitely go again.

I didn't eat here but the food other people were being served looked good enough to eat. This pub has had a major 'makeover' in the past few years and it's now very popular - quite crowded on a Saturday afternoon & clearly very popular with families. Worth a try I think.

Great friendly spacious pub, the rock club upstairs was great, lots of space to park with seating outside. I had the classic steak and chips as a meal which was lovely. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for lunch with the family a few days ago, haven’t been in a while but didn’t disappoint. It’s such a lovely pub, so spacious and the staff are always happy to help. I hear there is also a private function room upstairs will definitely be booking it up in future. The food was great quality and managed to please my picky daughter which is not an easy thing to do these days. So thank you for a lovely meal will be back soon.

Party of 12 of us. The food was amazing all meals came out together and cooked to perfection. Such great value for money. Staff are so friendly all walking around smiling and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend here. The puddings are such great value as well if you have room.

Went with friends to see Bizzy Lizzy and I was amazed by how big the pub is and how well cared for it is. Upstairs when the band played is massive and there was a great atmosphere there.
