This Surgery needs to realise Covid is over and return to normal service. They make it virtually impossible to make an appointment with the GP. The on line booking system is open for an hour and don't bother calling no-one answers the phone. Working people cannot hang on the phone for hours!!

It’s been 6 weeks I am trying to contact this practice because I am suffering from high blood pressure. Every time from 8am I call them phone line goes beep beep then disconnects. Then after 10am the phone line starts to ring I get to speak to reception and all they say that appointments are gone. They have stopped taking online appointments due to staff shortages. Well this is not my problem they expect me to ring 111 service or visit walking centre why should I do this when my local gp is only 5 minutes away from my home and I can easily go and be seen. I only managed to ring them because kids have school holidays otherwise I am unable to contact them because I am doing course and cannot waste all day ringing them and they won’t even answer and Why should I pay for taxi and then wait 3-4hours in the walking centre and then no medication is given and waste time and taxi fair £16. I have young children I can’t leave them on their own.I went to surgery couple of times and I don’t see any patients only 2-3 who have got appointments in advance. They are deliberately not seeing any patients. All they say they have 8000 patients. Things we’re not bad like this before covid. This practice reception and GP were lovely. Me and my family have been registered at this practice for 17 years and I never encountered these type of problems in the past. They are making excuses. This is happening every where. There is a serious issues are going on with these practices. But still getting paid from government I already have appointment on 15th June this was booked in March but my health condition is bad. I spoke to manager at the practice she said I was being rude how they expect me to be kind when I cannot get an appointment for weeks. NHS don’t care about patients anymore. I have decided to make complaint against them. I am not the only one facing problems like this I am sure everyone is affected with the practice fraud. They don’t deserve to get paid. They are lying. We should sign a petition against them and I am going to speak to my local council about this. They always had 8k patience but why now things have gone so bad towards patients I feel sorry for elderly patients don’t have any idea what they might be going through with the practice intolerant and mismanagement behaviour. I don’t understand I always ring 8am for appointment how other people get ahead of me and then I am unable to get in the phone line this is what the centre manager told me. She said that I cant even come to the practice especially 8am to book an appointment because they don’t take counter appointment, then how the hell am I supposed to get appointment when I cannot get appointment over the phone. They are making a joke of all patients we all need to take action against them.

I’m not sure how this surgery is still open! It’s impossible to get through call at 8am constantly engaged called 157 times so far and still not got to speak to anyone. If I call in the day it’s the same if you’re more than 5 in line you’re hanging on for at least an hour and then they put the phone down before you get to the front. Who has got that amount of time when at work to try and speak to a doctor?! Will the online booking request EVER open back up? It’s been closed for a long time due to staffing issues. This doctors is so bad I could seriously cry. They have taken on far too many patients they can not safely handle them. It needs investigating. If you are thinking of joining Don’t!

When I first joined it was great, Doctors were lovely. Past 6months it’s a nightmare to get an appointment. Online booking system is always down. Requested a sick note get call and it didn’t even ring for a second. Mobile was in my hand called in to request for call back and heard nothing since. January 2023 I’ve been trying to get an appointment, I’ve even set alarms for when the systems back up to book but had no luck. Give them a call and it just rings forever or gets cut off. Not enough staff and too many patients taken on. This needs to be sorted asap. The anxiety it gives me to deal with this surgery is not worth it. I’ll be changing doctors asap. One star is for how good it was once.

The reception staff are rude and not helpful at all, they never answer the phones and they can never help you they bad mannered with a could not be bothered attitude. I have lost all trust in the surgery since Dr Trickelbank has gone. We have had random messages about hospital appointments that we have had over a year ago, and so many mistakes made. You cannot get an appointment ever and surely people are getting miss diagnosed with the Dr’s hiding behind there phones and not seeing patients properly. The practice has deteriorated over the last couple of years and the best Dr has just left after 30years of practice which I am not surprised about as he cannot see his patients properly anymore. I don’t want an answer from this to say you are truly sorry for the upset and inconvenience, I want to see action on making our family surgery the surgery it used to be and a surgery that we can trust again, as it has gone from an excellent surgery to a two star rated terrible surgery. Not everybody especially the elderly have mobiles and access to a computer to book appointments online, have some respect patients for them. Stop been rude. They should not have to call 157 times to get an appointment.

As a parent of two young children, I am truly appalled at the process of this surgery. My son was extremely ill and no appointments were available, even though we tried booking an online appointment straight away at 8am. We then rang up the surgery, only to get the response of go to a walk in centre. We then rang the walk in centre, only to be told that we need an appointment from GP or 111. A whole day passed with my son’s rash spreading and his fever getting worse and we still didn’t hear anything. Absolutely disgusting surgery don’t waste your time and fill there pockets with money when they clearly don’t care about patients I would give them a 0 rating.!!!!

Waste of time trying to book an appointment here. You call at 8am as advised & the line is constantly busy, I'm not surprised because I'm sure a lot of people are having the same issues getting through too as many of the reviews say. You check online & there's never any appointments showing on there either. If you do manage get through after calling over the space of a few hours you're told phone again tomorrow at 8am because there's no more appointments left. As someone who works for the majority of the week I don't have the time to be standing around phoning constantly in hopes of getting dealt with & you can see why 111 & A&E get bombarded with so many people. Then I've heard when you are lucky enough to actually get into the surgery for an appointment the reception staff who come across as rude are sat talking & avoiding answering the phones & there's barely anyone in the waiting rooms since they don't do face to face appointments now. There's a bunch of new doctors who I can't fault on their service that I have luckily managed to eventually receive on other occasion, however they would rather talk on the phone than do face to face appointments when sometimes it's more necessary to diagnose something when seeing it for themselves. This surgery has gone downhill but unfortunately I'm not able to move to another because they aren't local or don't have spaces for new patients.

Outraged is an understatement. After ring 5 days, 200+ times can’t never get through. Finally got through this morning and managed to get a telephone appointment, they were meant to ring at 10.30-10.40, they rung at 11 at this time I had a hospital call ring at the same time and missed the call, rung straight back and they said she’d ring me back later, she rings again at 12, for it to ring once and line goes dead, didn’t even give me chance to answer, finally rang back to be told they wouldn’t be ringing again, I expressed my concerns about how important the appointment was with a bad ecg and chest pain and medical history of heart problems, but still refusing to call back. Also had ongoing health issues for 3+ years that they refuse to help with or take me seriously, the amount of times I’ve saved myself is unreal. Because I’m ‘young’ they believe I’m fit and healthy, and just put everything down to anxiety. I’ve diagnosed myself multiple times, pushed for the testing and been right every single time. I know my own body and refuse to take the judgement of a surgery that constantly lets me down and gives me wrong diagnosis,or just throws tablets at me without finding the root cause.just because someone looks okay, doesn’t mean they are, they need to listen to what the patient is saying, as I probably wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for me not giving up!

0 stars if I could. Doesn't care about infants even if you were reffered by 111. Terrible receptionists! Horrible gp, don't even know why I changed to this ridiculous place. It used to be decent but gone down hill since covid. Don't recommend!!! Not to forget when you ring as soon as the gp opens, you won't get through to them until an hour later!!! Will keep cutting off saying "line busy", an hour later it'll put you in a queue after constantly ringing, which I don't understand why it doesn't add you to a queue when you first call??? When you eventually do get through there's "no appointments left". Same ridiculous story every time you ring! Honestly waste of time and energy trying to even get an appointment here. Better off going to a walk in!!! Furthermore, what's the point of having an online booking system if it never works and is always down SO SILLY!?

Tried to ring the surgery at 8am to get an appointment for my mum, as she’s an asthmatic and was struggling to breath, ( not serious enough to go to hospital) I was unable to get through , so went into the surgery to try and book an appointment, I was told that they can’t book the appointment in the surgery and to go home, I told reception staff I’ve tried and made 75 attempts to call in front of them. Eventually after making 217 calls, I had to call 111 was on the phone to them for 40 minutes for them to book the Doctors appointment (waste of NHS resources). The surgery has gone down hill massively, the new reception staff are rude (bring back the old reception, they knew what they were doing.) Don’t bother speaking to management they haven’t done anything to improve the service that people are receiving. Surely form the amount of negative feed back on here and that they receive in person, something should be done to resolve the issues!!!!

Very difficult to get an appointment. Online service is not read or replied to properly. Telephone automatically goes engaged as soon as they open. Doctors are helpful if you can get to talk to one. Have left this practice.

Tried to make an appointment online, only to be met with This online service is currently suspended due to reception staff shortage Please call the surgery for assistance. OK so anyone that works has to have a day off for something completely minor. Phoned at 8am for 20 minutes got engaged tone. Went to the surgery physically only to be told that "We don't do over the counter appointments anymore, and I should go home and continue to ring" After 45 minutes managed to get in the queue only to have to wait another 30 minutes and being told constantly to use the AccuRX system repeatedly by the recording, which ironically has been unavailable for 2 weeks. Spoke to a receptionist, finally got anti-biotics for a minor ear infection 3 hours later at 11am. Ridiculous. Working people cant spend all day on the phone booking doctors appointments, to save themselves getting ill. Your staffing problems are not the Public's problem, get your other staff to cover reception, even if it is the practice manager that has to do it. At 100k a pop basic for Doctors the surgery has to do better than this. Taking down the Online Appointment system in the hope everybody phoning who works will just give up is a bad and callous tactic. I am not even sure how you can justify an answer...I work for a living and have not seen a doctor prior the original Covid outbreak. That in itself is shameful, It was actually easier to get an appointment during Covid, even though this was telephone only. Time the doctors stopped hiding in their offices and started doing what the tax payer pays them to do, IE see patients

Dr. UBOGU has been helping me for the past 4 months due to anxiety and stress. His bedside manner is impeccable, and he has always been prompt, helpful, and considerate with his treatment and advice Likewise, whenever i have attended the surgery or phoned up the reception, staff have been both professional and friendly.

Myself, my husband and daughter are all registered at this surgery. We quickly registered upon my daughters arrival as it was more local and have always received the best care. If an appointment is ever needed, I always receive one. My husband called yesterday morning as he needed an appointment, he was offered a telephone or a face to face appointment and was given one to suit his working hours too. We are happy with the care that we receive from all medical and administrative staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They need to get over the fact COVID is OVER and get back to real life work like the rest of us. LAZY!!! is an understatement. I needed an appointment as I had a skin infection and was told I needed to see a GP. Rang up no appointments well that’s a surprise!!! Couldn’t even ring up on the afternoon as all them appointments was gone too at 8am… something needs to be done it’s an absolute shambles of a doctors oh and ringing 150 times and still get no answer pathetic if you as me. WORK FOR YOUR MONEY LIKE THE REST OF US.

Zero Star 0 star only Because I booked my appointment for my vitamin blood checkup 20 days before and I got appoinment for 7th July then suddenly same day morning I got text that the nurse is not available so please call for next available appointment. I called but they say now you will get appointment on 26th july means again after 20 days but why? it was your side problem that you cancelled an appointment so obviously its first booked first serve basis...they should give me next day or within 2 day appointment. But no they said No, I said its emergency then they say then go directly to hospital. Why ? we paid you lots of money ? isn't it ?

My 93 year old mother a patient at this surgery for years received no help when she showed signs of a bladder infection. She is bedridden and cannot attend the surgery. We only wanted to drop a urine sample off but were told to call 111.Not good.

I have been with this surgery since 1986, unfortunately for the surgery cutbacks in the NHS has taken its toll. However the level of care hasn't dipped. The GPs have kept me alive an example of this is when I had covid and Dr Sihre diagnosed me with pneumonia. If ge hadn't had acted so quickly I would have died. Dr Tricklebank and Dr Ubogo help and support me with Chronic illnesses. Really appreciate the support from the Admin Team too.

Ever since covid this medical centre has poor performance with the reception. The online booking, never works and you getting an appointment is very difficult. This place used to be brilliant.

Can’t get an appointment for anything unless you’re willing to wait two weeks or attempt to get through on the phone at 8 am. Refuse to extend a doctors note without another appointment (what a waste of everyone’s time!) and the app they tell you to use they then tell you not to use it as it doesn’t work!!! Absolutely ridiculous can’t wait to move somewhere else!!

Been trying to get through for an urgent appointment for my daughter since yesterday so my dad went up ready for when they opened to be told they don't give appointments over the desk despite my dad explaining how urgent it was . This is a lie as I have seen them give out appointments over the desk before . To tell me to call 111 when all you had to do was give an appointment for my child is disgusting it's not like you didn't have any left at 8 am .

Every time I needed help, I was well taken care of. Especially Dr. Ubogu is a wonderful human being and a great doctor that really cares about the patients. He always listened to me and gave me the best advice. The nurses are really friendly and helpful. The receptionist were always warm and helpful. Thank you so much for all the support over the last 5 years of being your patient.

I will give zero star with service they providing and I will be lunch official complaint against them . I had very bad experience with them and they don't care of patients at all NHS should to take action against them . I book the appointment for my normal blood test. I was clearly asked from the doctor to check my Hb1c Test and when I specifically asked about my Hb1c results they don't know nothing about it. They play with people's life .

I've recently registered here and all services are outstanding. From the moment you are greeted at reception to the professionals. The nurse, physician and doctors are all an assest to this surgery. I would like people to understand and appreciate that all of these professionals are people and have realistic expectations. They are the face of the NHS and working under pressure.
