    The worst surgery one can imagine. - Can never reach them by telephone; - Telephone staff incredibly rude and unhelpful, although following the recent takeover, this has been marginally better; - Incompetent GP’s with no interest; - Smear test request letters persistently sent to old address despite having updated it several times. Smear test is now well overdue; - Overall, a complete and utter waste of time.

    This surgery is the worse of Birmingham I have experienced. Never answer calls and when they do its too late FULLY BOOKED. They always recommend to go walk in centre or book online appointment which is like in two weeks! Uhh hello am ill now not next week or next month or even next year! The receptionist are very unhelpful. I can't wait to go elsewhere. They have nothing for people who work although they say they do which is bull####! People stay away from this surgery and I guess even after leaving this review it will get ignore!

    This surgery is an absolute farse...no compassion no care.. not one bit helpful.. my son was referred back to Drs as a priority.lts been a week and no referrals or contact 😕 the reception staff are also rude and lack compassion. 😤 treat others how would like to be treated that's my advice to them all both GPS and reception staff..if I could give no stars I would, “I will use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgement; I will abstain from harming or wronging any man by it,” orders doctors to do their best in their job and not use their skill or knowledge to harm or kill their patients. The GPS are this surgery have failed us

    Used to be a good surgery now they take the piss answering the phone. Easily spend 45 mins ringing before anyone decides to answer. Why not hire more staff or cut down on the number of patients? Will be leaving here and transferring elsewhere after being a patient here for 13 years, it’s a shame.

    Every time tried to book an appointment told no appointments available and call back tomorrow at 8.15am. Tried calling them at 8.15am in the morning phone keeps ringing or is busy, when they answered at 10.00am told again no appointments available and ring back tomorrow again, same thing again. Avoid this surgery. Very unhelpful give you more stress then help you.

    Although doctor Mavi, and Jassel work extremely hard, the practice itself is falling apart. Mainly due to the nurse's and reception staff. Whenever you request an appointment, it's nearly impossible to receive one, especially for those who work between 8-9am (as those are the times your asked to call and book). I was a few minutes late, for injections for my newborn, and was asked to rebook. I explained I had to feed the baby, but the nurse and reception staff didn't sympathise with me. However, whenever I've attended an appointment and staff are up to an hour late, I've happily waited for my appointment. I will be switching surgeries, and won't be coming back. Please be careful of the reception staff, they are rude and not understanding in the slightest. As a biomedical scientist myself, it's difficult to see this kind of health practice. As I love the NHS and everything it stands for. Hall green surgery is supposed to be much better, will be switching to them. For anyone getting into a public serving sector, don't do it for the money, do it for the patients. It makes a real difference.

    Literally since I moved to sparkhill/Strafford Road and changed my doctors from Lee bank Edgbaston to this place 🤦🏾‍♂️. Can you imagine I’m still trying to get an appointment to see a doctor for the last year now. It’s always the same story with these receptionist, most of the time you either on a queue waiting for appointment on the phone but never seem to get one because it’s always call tomorrow because today we booked . I sometimes call 7.57 before 8 and I never ever had an appointment till today. They don’t have a policy where you can call and make an appointment in the future, it’s always call early in the morning for slots. I advice you if you moved into the neighborhood, try finding alternative GPS that see their patients.

    The worst surgery with the WORST reception staff! They all sound like they have about 3 GCSEs between them. They really need a 0 star option for useless services and disgusting staff like this. You’ll never get an appointment if you’re lucky enough to even get through on the phones, I really don’t understand what their staff be doing all day apart from taking the mick out of their patients :/

    Would rate it a 0 if i could. Terrible customer service. Been phoning for the past 3 days but always the same response “no appointments”. I went into the gp and theres no patients at all so how are there no appointments? I still have not recieved an appointment as they keep telling me phone back tomorrow even when i have asked can i book the appointment for tomorrow they say no.Absolutely terrible!

    Sparkhill gp it’s really so bad service.I will try book an appointment for my dad,I call the every morning about 8:00 o’clock they say already fully booked .always same system they make mistake always .I talked with reception team nicely. My dad he don’t eat probably it’s almost 1month .I need to book an appointment argent . still they say sorry I can’t .

    I’m disgusted by the receptionist they are so unprofessional at the job. I actually witnessed them just chatting and laughing amongst themselves while I picked up my prescription. They are wasting valuable time on.

    yes agree sometimes it takes time to get a Appointment, but we have to understand they are quite alot of patients in this surgery, so first come first serve, but they try there best to fit you in for a Appointment. staff are polite.
