The view is pretty. There are many spaces to chill inside the tower also. I was joking that maybe I can even sleep there to watch stars at night. There are also 2 BBQ stands outside for picnic. Easily to access for people of all ages.

Hardwaldturm is one of the most beautiful places in all of Dietlikon and the Glatt Valley. It is surrounded by dense and tall forests, full of beautiful trails and paths, and when climbed, it offers beautiful views as far as the Alps, as well as more clean views of the surrounding towns and villages, as well as Zürich and the airport at Kloten. It is a very peaceful place to be though, even if the hike there can be a bit exhausting. It has a portable washroom, running water and benches nearby. It's design is quite modern and beautiful as well. Definitely recommended if you're in Dietlikon or Wallisellen.

I liked the place. Entrance is free. Tower is made from wood. Looks new. Around the tower is possible to hike and drive eith bycicle. I walked there by foot, approximately 30min walk from car parking through the forest. Height of the tower is 41,5m. View was amazing. There where flying a lot of planes, it was not far from the airport.

Awesome view over the Alps from the top which culminates at more 40 meters above the ground level. The tower enterly made of wood is amazing and its architecture is integrates nicely in its surroundings. There is a grill place and a fountain next to the tower to enjoy a well deserved rest after climbing the tower...

Very nice area to get rest and grill something. You can watch the airplanes in the sky.

41 meters high above the trees with a 360 degrees unobstructed view of the surrounding plateau. Beautiful grilling area with fresh water and a small toilet just beneath it. In the middle of what remains of a lush forest covered in beautiful moss. Great and easy hiking trail.

Very beautiful view and amazing clean forest but a little bit crowdy on sunday.

Nice place to visit, or spend some time for a barbecue.

Highly recommend going around sunset to see the beautiful skies!

A newly erected wooden tower right in the heart of the park. Free entry, no elevator. Spectacular vistas from the summit.

Interesting architecture, fantastic alpine panorama when the air is clear. You can see the Greifensee, one of the Zürich Airport runways, Zürich-Oerlikon, and the Ütliberg.

Beautiful view on a clear day! There is a compost toilet at the bottom, fire pits and places to sit. There are 209 steps to the top (we counted!). Great view of the airport for plane watching.

Perfect place for relaxing and take some pictures. You can bring your family for a picnic as well.

Already a few months open we went a second time there. Had a long walk through the forest and came to the observation tower. Looks great, need to climb few stores until on top. There you have a great View over the forest to the airport, Wallisellen etc. Not that many people on that day so always Worth a visit.
