I usually come to this Departement store not to shop for clothes or household products. When I come here, it's mostly for the impressive food market in the sub-level, which might be overlooked if you're a first-time visitor. The products they sell there are fresh, tasty and wonderfully displayed. They got lots of import stuff, so if you look for something rare, this might be the place to get it. Besides a nice selection of fruit, veggies, meat, fish and seafood they also got a great selection of cheeses (Swiss and Import). You can sample some if you're honestly interested in buying. There's also a nice Bar in the middle, if you feel like having some oysters and Champagne (or other items). Besides that they have a great alcohol section. All kinds of Whiskey, Rum, Tequila or any other booze. And more importantly: a great range of wines! Right now I'm really into their "Buglioni Amarone", the Californian "Bogle Phantom" or the divine Californian "Caymus" Cabernet Sauvignon. If you are looking for some fancy but heavenly salmon, you should try some of their "Balik" Salmon. Best I've ever had. About 50CHF, but worth every buck. This is really the place to go when I look for some unusual, but great food items. The rest of the store is fine with the clothing section, toys, make-up, perfumes, jewelery, accessories, electronics our household products. A real restaurant with some nice views is on the top floor. They have nice christmas decorations for sale in the holiday season as well, but it's the food market which makes this place. Love it!

A restaurant like any other. Service was very good, very kind and cheerful. I've order a risotto and, even though it had a nice taste, rice was a bit over cooked. Risotto, a bottle of water and a side salad for about 28 chf, Switzerland price. There are better (and of course worst) places to go, but other than nice staff, nothing special here. That's why the average rate.

Very pleasent visit. Got there for a short smell of a perfume but bought something different. Althought the desired item isnt sold there the sales woman offered me to buy it on their onlineshop with home delivery without any shipping cost. Nice service. We talked a bit about my perfume discovery and she gave me some samples after the buy. I call this a very good service since I didnt had something to take with me the samples gave me the feeling of not leaving empty handed. I was greeted, asked and helped without any pressure. Cheers

Globus Lucerne is good, Zurich is better. I am a big fan of Globus. Yes, they are expensive and yes, they have some very nice, quality merchandise. Yes, you probably can find some of the stuff cheaper on the web. But I like to be able to see, touch and try on what I intend to buy. I find they have a lovely selection for the household, their food section is astoundingly diverse and they have a nice wine section. Ladies wear and men's wear offer a large palette of products and they carry some very exclusive perfumes and cosmetics. If you are willing to spend a little more for quality, shop here.

Used to be a good store a few years ago but now it just boring and very overpriced

Globus is the most meditative and esthetic departmentstore and loveliest place to shop anything from food to design items home.

It is an expensive store to say the least, yet beautifully arranged. I called in just to pick up some hp brown sauce. It costed around £5 for a very small bottle. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
