I can't pick a favorite part of this experience. The setting is beautiful and feels like you have stepped out of North Dakota into a different part of the world. It's a very classy-authentic atmosphere. The service was exceptional-they were friendly, genuine and full of amazing recommendations. The menu is large and can be intimidating for people stepping out of their norm to try Indian food. Ask for some guidance and they will be more than accommodating. They will also discuss your spice tolerance and won't stear you wrong! The flavors are sensational, it was the authentic warm spices melded with fresh, tangy and bright flavors... Not to mention, the portions were generous! I will recommend this place to absolutely anyone who will listen to me! GO GET SOME!

This place is amazing! This is not your typical lunch buffet, everything is absolutely delicious. If you like Indian food, you have to try it.

My favorite place when I am in Bismark. Food is beyond fabulous and the service is immaculate. I always have the paneer korma with their garlic Naan. He got the butter chicken with onion kulcha. The mango Lassi was devine!

We went here for brunch Buffet! I'd have to say, most food is good and atmosphere was awesome 😃 Overall flavor was good, but not super awesome. I'm really curious how dinner would taste 🌱 It's definately a good place stop for sure, if you are craving some Indian food 👍

Absolutely delicious chicken biryani! The place looks nice and clean and the food was hot and fresh. It's a big serving with plenty of chicken chunks in the rice. I really enjoyed the taste and vibrant colors of this dish! Thank you!

Best Indian food in ND! They have an awesome lunch buffet selection with plenty to choose from. It also includes some Indochinese selections as well which is rare nowadays. Empty plates were removed timely and the bathroom was immaculate.

We had a great meal here. Loved everything we ordered. Samosas, Shrimp Tiki Masala, Chicken Vegetable Curry, Garlic Naan, and Gulab Jarum. The Winter Indian cocktail was exceptional. Restaurant was hopping.

I live in WA state with many India food options, this was in the top favorite Ive ever had, it was also the best food I had while visiting ND. I will be dreaming of it until I come back again. As a vegan I was incredibly thankful for the many options and that they were marked with a V on the menu.

India Clay Oven Bar and Grill impresses with its aromatic spices and flavorful dishes. The cozy ambiance enhances the dining experience. A delightful blend of Indian cuisine that satisfies the palate.

Disappointing experience. Was passing through Bismarck and wanted to get desi food for Dinner. Ordered takeout of Veg Biryani and Aaloo Parantha. Biryani was actually a vegetable Pulav and Aaloo Parantha was nowhere to be seen, instead a plane tandoori lachcha Parantha with zero butter. It was like I’m chewing leather. Very disappointed and waste of money. Put in a complaint with the food ordering app and yet to hear anything.

It was a total blast. I had the vegetables in a cashew sauce and it was hilarious. Spicey but not painful. The service was great and super friendly.

The beautiful building, the inside aesthetics, the wonderful staff, the delicious food, and the wonderful desserts are top quality! You get a sense of family and harmony in this restaurant that is very well offering nutritious meals for the body mind and soul. We were very impressed and we made sure to go multiple times before having to leave.

I wish I had known about this place sooner, because dang is it awesome. The buffet offerings were all fresh and delicious. I especially loved the butter chicken and the cauliflower, as well as some others whose names escape me haha. I will will make it a regular stop whenever I come down to the Bismarck area.

Tried this place for the first time and was blown away with everything about the place. Very unique and comfortable atmosphere, amazing food and very friendly and attentive service! The food looked and tasted absolutely wonderful, this is very high quality and made with love by the chefs. Great place for lunch or dinner!
