This is a very popular trail for my family to go on in Arizona. It is an out and back trail, going to a river, and even past the river if you choose to do so. It is a trail with a lot of rocks and cliff edges, so make sure that everyone is staying safe. Make sure you always bring enough water, I recommend 2 bottles just in case.

Great hike for what ever distance you like. From the main parking lot in BCC all hikes will be out and back. Maintained trail. Bathroom not always open now. Lot aof saguaros and other cacti along the trail.

Beautiful well groomed trail. Easy access from parking lot. We hiked 1.25 miles out, then back, minimal elevation changes.

Nice area, in the middle of the small town by the seasonal river.

Went here recently while visiting family, it really showed the beauty of the Arizona terrain. Dress and pack appropriately as you'll be right under the sun, but the views you get to see are totally worth the trip. I would love to go back some day.

I came during the summer to get pictures of the large cactuses. It was very hot. I imagine this being an awesome hike at another time of the year.
