Lovley Hotel with character, excellent quality food and fast friendly service. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces.

I have known the owners for many years and it is a friendly local hotel with a lovely restaurant and delicious food. The rooms are lovely if you're looking to book accommodation.

Leys Hotel has always been a family favourite, so when offering my Mum where to go for Mothers Day she didn't hesitate in wanting to come here, I always advise booking ahead as they are normally really busy. They have a large menu full of your homemade favourites, although since it was Sunday and Mothers Day, my Mum was really looking forward to a roast but unfortunately they had sold out which was disappointing but I understand it had been a favourite throughout the day. We started off with sharing the nachos but found it weird there was no option to add jalapeños (maybe something to add?), our main courses were really good, well laid out and tasted delicious although I did have to ask for a bit of bacon that was meant to be on my burger but other than that our meal was fantastic. If you are looking to try somewhere different or are in the area, Leys Hotel is definitely one to try! P.s I would love if you could add Chicken Goujons & Chips to the menu

Met a old time friend here and when we went to Leys Hotel the place was quite so you could hear yourselves speak we sat down and the barmaid came over with the menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink we both opted for coke as we were both driving that night and the next day. The place was quite so we took our time n finally decided to go for the curry with half chips and half rice and we ordered the gammon steak. Our order came a short while after and the plates were full the barmaid came and asked if everything was ok with our meals and we both said yes we finished our meals and had a good catch up before and through and after the meal which is good the bill was about £25 for the 2 of us inc soft drinks we would defiantly go back again

Staff were excellent! June was amazing the whole stay. Keith at the bar. What can I say, kept me supplied. Brilliant little place. Room was massive. TV, En-suite and decent bed. Just a brilliant hotel.

The ambience was pretty nice and the people who work here are really friendly. The food was also really great! It was the best thing I've eaten in a while (I had spagetti bolognies btw)! In the mini bar in my room was still some coffee milk and in the watercooker was still some old water (wich was a bit disgusting) but I love that they have tea bags and fresh mugs in the rooms.

Called to enquire about rooms that had been booked. Spoke to a rude and arrogant woman working the reception phone. Absolutely disgusting way I was spoken to.

Spacious room as well as toilet. The bath tub is so inviting but what a shame i don't have time to use it, as we only stop to rest and head again for a long journey. Comfy bed, cozy and with delicious breakfast included, nice ambience.

Great little hotel, stayed a few nights for work during December, can fault the food (portions are huge for the cost) or the helpfulness of the staff, looking forward to a return visit later in January.

What a fantastic place !! Absolutely lovely staff, food at breakfast and dinner was great, rooms were clean and tidy, great beer and drinks selections, pool tables and dart boards in the lounge, and a lovely cosy vibe ! Will definitely stay again when I'm back in the area ! Thanks for such a great stay !

Up doing courses for work and have stayed here a few times now. I now ask to be put up in leys. The food is great and the accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. Great location with a rural feel but in close proximity to everything you need.

🫤 Nice place with a lot of activities. 2 stars because toilets were horrible. One toilet doesn't have a door at all. Other toilet can't be locked from inside. Can't believe it has come down to this level now. If toilets are fixed I will change star rating
