Today was my first day, plenty of machine's to use from I spoke to manager who was really helpful today. she did advise due to half term it can get busy and at the moment a lot of staff are off, but there's a member of staff on shift every session. There's Mall car park for parking 2hours free (dont know the opening times) there's a council car park the front (not free) see times on board outsite

Bad experience with A PT here.. Extremely disappointed! How do I contact the owner of puregym? As I have already contacted the Gym directly no response! I'm going to take my complaint seriously because it's made my anxiety worse. CAN U PLEASE PROVIDE A EMAIL OF OWNERSHIP TO The gym not the manager as iv had no response to my complaint....

Good gym but was unbearable after a while due to the stupidly loud music. Would consider rejoining if it wasn’t for this major pain point. Membership cancellation is quite bad too and has to be done weeks in advance or you pay for another month.

It's ok but needs to upgrade !! New machines is needed. The Gym need a new look. January 2023, The gym still basics! No new machines been added.

It's bigger than the other PG sites I have attended. Much more spacious. The car parking a bit weird when you go first time. I love the hunt the weight on the dumbell rack that's fun. There are a lot of dumbells!

PureGym is brilliant it's clean ,staff are very friendly ,are always happy to help and take good care of the gym and it's well equipt in the women's and main shared sections .I really enjoy my session there everyday and I love that it's open 24/7 I'm seeing some really good body image and results on myself and it's been really good for my mental health and worries as it's my happy place 🙂

This gym has become a second home to me, I always feel welcome and have the space to do my exercising without judgment. Staff and PTs are always available and attentive to my needs - the experiences has been so great that it inspired me to become a PT myself, I have joined the Pure gym academy and will be working hard to work as a PT within these gyms. A wonderful place!

It can get overcrowded however if you download the app you can see how many people are using the gym at any time.

Been needing to leave a review but not had the chance. Love coming here :) Very friendly staff and always willing to help.

Pure gym is really good and really helpful when you need help so a fitness instructor will talk you through it.

Too busy sometimes, lack of staff and a bit of a mess

Good gym but gets extremely busy with people throwing weights all over the place. Gym etiquette is very poor and no staff there to really police it, just a white board which says "5 day ban if you don't put weights away", obviously nobody is going to pay attention to that.

The gym is big but the woman section is so out dated and neglected. Would love a stair master and some other actual training machines. Would be great if management listened to the women making suggestions

The gym is clean and the members are friendly. The PTs are all helpful and the classes challenging and enjoyable. There’s a good selection of equipment. Parking is handy and free. The app shows how many people are in the gym so you can plan.

I pay extra to visit any Puregym as I travel everywhere for work. Upon entering it had a funny smell, changing rooms are not sign posted. Walking into the changing rooms it stunk of sewage. There were a few staff around and there was a particular gym member who was dangerously using the machines to a point he will mess himself up, he then followed this up with deadlifts but dropping the barbell with only 20 on either side everytime at the top of his deadlift but yet no staff said anything. One of the classes started whilst there and the music was so loud i could not hear my headphones which has noise cancellation built in. Overall this is not a Puregym I will visit again you need to do better

First day, brilliant service by one of the PTs Jacob. Showed me everything and took extra time to show me some of the machines. Will be using the gym now regularly.

Extremely busy but can’t make excuses. Can get your workout in if you are patient. Only gripe is that the music is really loud when classes are taking place.

Air conditioning has not been working for over a year and they are not even bothered to fix it even with all the complains they have received during the heatwave. It is like working out in a greenhouse . A definitive inspection is needed as this is below standards.

1st time at this gym. Started workout on bench straight away asked how many sets i had left!! Went over to start my 2nd routine on cable, did 1 set and while i rested, someone came and just started their workout, without even asking if I'd finished. Packed my stuff up and went. Shocking gym

Awful experience. Gym equipment in the wrong places. Overcrowded. No cancel option on the website. No ability of the staff to help you cancel your membership. The gym tries to charge you even after you stopped going and paying. Absolute sham of a gym

Lots of equipment,open 24hrs,but cleaning equipment not working or empty.

Became a member of Pure Gym this week after avoiding a gym setting for some time.I have never been to a friendlier and nicer gym before!The staff are all lovely and it seems like they know their members personally.The gym is huge and well designed so at no point do you feel cramped and even when it is busy,it doesn't feel busy.Loads of classes to choose from!Female only area if that is more comfortable.Large locker rooms and showers.The Pure Gym app is really easy to use.2 hours free parking at this particular gym which is ideal.Cannot recommend highly enough!

The personal trainer at this gym is awful. Started an 8 week programme with her online stopped giving me workouts after the 4th week! Then I paid 100 pounds as we both agreed on me starting pure gym and doing personal 1-1 sessions with her, we haven’t started yet as I’ve told her I cannot anymore because of time and childcare. I asked for a refund the following day and she wasn’t willing to give it, she also mentioned her manager has deducted her wage to let me in the gym when I haven’t even started them sessions yet!! I’ve lost out on a lot of money DO NOT GET PERSONAL TRAINING FROM THIS GYM!

A great gym with a variety of equipment, friendly staff and affordable memberships. However, some of the members have little to no respect for the facilities, leaving weights all over the place, including where you would walk, and rubbish such as empty water bottles and chewing gum is discarded on equipment and the floor, despite there being multiple bins accessible. There are signs clearly stating to return weights, but this just doesn’t happen. It’s scruffy and unfair to other paying members. I enjoy attending as the location is great and there’s lots of options for classes and independent work outs, but the other members really need to learn some respect and care for their surroundings.

A great place to workout, nicely equipped and not too busy. I love it here.

First time I join pure gym and found its amazing

It is a shame parking is no longer free at blackburn site I've tried to resolve this big issue but to no avail.ive scanned my chip on several occasions and been well under my 2 hr max.on top of my gym fee its more than doubled

Always a good place to get my workout in. Lovely friendly staff, plenty of equipment and enough space to go have a that good workout

poor equipment, toilets not cleaned people not keeping distance from each other , good staff but need to clean and make people clean machines after use. Showers dirty

Decent gym, friendly helpful staff, very busy at at peak times but obviously quieter at other times. Has everything you need to train yourself plus assistance if needed and classes 👍

First day back to the gym in over 15 moon and not a bad experience at all. A friendly atmosphere and equipment was available when I needed. I would've rated 4star but if it wasn't for the AC, far too warm for me.

Member .... Quality equipment but could do with a good clean ... especially the cross trainer machines and others.

Great gym to go to, lots of machines and sanitising stations for a great price.

The only criticism I have about this gym at all is in relation to the accessible shower, the grab rails have no textured grips making them less than safe to use while wet (which is inevitable after showering)

Not helpful at all staff aren't even available been trying to get a hold of them for 2 days yet no response around the gym or even in the gym office have a right mind to leave

Great gym. Spacious and clean. Ample showers and large changing room. Convenient free parking before 8am which is useful.

Very nice gym and great staff especially Shaf, who is very helpful giving me tips and ideas of what I can do to reach my fitness goals. Shafs classes are also fantastic would highly reccomend.

Lovely gym with brilliant staff. Had the pleasure of interacting with Shaf who works there and he’s been amazing at helping me work out and try and better myself. Always on hand too offer his support and advise. Makes the gym a very welcoming place. His classes also had me stiff for days!!!!!

Fitness instructor Adam is such a friendly member of staff, always happy to help and constantly motivates me to reach my fitness goals. My fitness has improved significantly and Iv never felt better! Would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!
