Ordered a collection to be reheated later in the evening. Online ordering was quick and very simple. We ordered a platter with a curry on the side. When I collected the food was well wrapped and the service friendly. The food was awesome even after reheating and more than enough for two people. We saved the 2 curries for the evening after as there was a lot. The food we did eat was excellent and we would definitely order a collection again.

Jamaica 🇯🇲 Vibez. Amazing food, great staff. The atmosphere was epic. Waterside views. Live DJ and Reggae singer was epic.Nice selection of cocktails and mocktails. Definitely going back again soon.

Food was bloody fantastic I was very surprised how nice it was. Everyone loved it, lads working on service where nice friendly and helpful, girls working on the bar where also very nice and cocktails where tasty too. Will definitely be back

Had the pleasure of mooring my narrow boat (also named calypso) here this weekend. Can not speak more highly of the place, great ambience, supper friendly staff, amazing food and top gaffer Dave...thank you all for a lovely time and experience..Tony

TurtleBay let us down, Health & Safety no water in area therefore had no option but close! So I'd marked this restaurant to want to go, used Google maps to walk from town centre up the hill, taken us 12mins. It was so worth the wait, a lovely restaurant, very inviting inside, music playing, lovely friendly staff, the young man who who served us was a superb, thank you, I didn't ask your name. Started off with cocktails, offer on 2 for £10, & you don't have to choose the same, they can both be different 😉 Lush!, Food was amazing, cooked to perfection, service was good too, started getting a little busy, but came over to inform us our order was on it's way, great communication 😀. I went to investigate outside, lot's of seating outside overlooking the river, beautiful scenery & in the sunshine 🌞, next visit 😀 👍. Definitely recommend trying this place & also child friendly, burgers, small starters, or get a couple of sides, main meals, lot's of beers/Gin/juice etc, & it's not too expensive either.

Great little place to stop and dine. By the canal with a relaxing Jamaican vibe. Had a lovely meal and rum cocktail. Staff are very attentive and really pleasant. Great to watch the world go by.

Mine & my family’s favourite Caribbean restaurant. You don’t find many restaurants around here that do this sort of food, so love coming here. Staff are present but leave you in peace, drinks are great and food is always delicious. Scenery is a bonus. Great little spot for dinner!

The food was average at best. Visually, the food looked authentic for the most part. Unfortunately, quite a few items were dry and tasteless. The tables were filthy with the mats actually stuck to the table as they were so sticky. The staff were the best part of the dining experience as they were attentive and provided a good service.

Great food, music, and servers. I had mutton curry, and my wife had the chicken strips. Both meals were top-notch. The servers were polite and really good. An excellent night and we'll be back again soon.

We called in for refreshments after a walk along the canal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I checked the menu, the restaurant is down for a visit the next time we call over the way

I was walking past and seen the bar/restaurant and popped in for lunch. The food was great and the staff were outstanding. Really friendly and attentive. The music was good too. I’ll definitely head back again when in the area

Great place ,great food ,great staff, great location (on the canal) . Shame we couldn't check out the live music that was on the following days (Saturday and Sunday). As I was visiting family and its an hours drive from where i live , i will definitely be visiting again it's worth the drive just for this place alone ,if I lived in Blackburn or Darwin this would definitely be my local i would be in there every day The food was fab, I only had a couple of light bites but I will be back to try everything off the menu (not all at once obviously 😋 😅 ) best place in Blackburn, it will be my go to place when I come over to visit. Food can take about half an hour because they make it fresh, but they tell you in advance how long your wait may be ,child and baby friendly.

Very good representation of Caribbean dishes, we were not let down. Well seasoned flavours and portions all very enticing, we shall be going back, soonest.

Great food etc, unfortunately though we were there for a very big birthday, and everyone got their food apart from the actual main birthday person... everyone had finished their food before the main person could...all in all a good meal though

Food was amazing, hot and incredibly tasty. Service was fast and friendly, staff checked everything was ok. The cocktails are definitely worth a try 2 for £10 . Whole experience recommended.

Always brilliant value for money! Food is always spot in a fresh. Good local place for food right on the canal! Owner is top notch and staff are always on hand with a smile. Highly recommend this place.

Well can say well done. Not often can you find a good Caribbean Restaurant. Food was absolutely on point, I had the curry mutton, my other half had prawns. Jerk chips, amazing. Cocktails again great, and they do put alcohol in, unlike other bars. Owner Dave and staff very welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again. Keep up the good work. 10/10. Back ground music 10/10. Restaurant with a great vibe if you know what the Caribbean is about.

Was expecting better. Food was okay as well as cocktail. Place wasn't really clean and children was running and shouting without anyone saying anything non stop in the restaurant. It was very annoying.

A fabulous night. Met up with my brother and sisters. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. A lovely place to visit. Will go more frequently. Thank you 😊
