Got my girlfriend a wach from here for Christmas and the service was amazing helped me pick the wach as i was unsure and definitely worked because she loved it. Planning on coming back for my daughters wach for her birthday in may five star

Although I did not go in the shop on this occasion ( just walked past ). I have purchased items on more than one occasion and been more than pleased by the knowledge of the staff and quality of the items I have purchased.

Between the cheap quality,the incompetence and the rudeness of some staff, dont know which one shocks me more. Bought a bracelet for my husband the end of April, in June it went loose. As I pad for the insurance cover, I went there on Monday to exchange it. First contact with a gentleman , after showing him the bracelet his answer was I think its the way it should be it doesn't look like it lost anything or damaged!! I looked at him and said no it was tighter that's the way it should be so we showed him other bracelets on my husbands wrist, he wasn't convinced and said yes but they are different. I started having a nervous smile I was like have u ever seen a bracelet before. So he went to check and came saying we will exchange it. They had to order new one to be picked up on Friday. I went there on Friday and the woman said to me sorry but u had to bring the old one, well I said she gave it back to me and didn't say anything a out bring it just said keep it and she looked with a stupid face and said I doubt that she said so, then I answered im telling u she did. What the hell i will be doing with a loose bracelet!! Anyway first time and last time I paid £59 for a bracelet to become loose 2 months after no thank you.

Had a lovely experience buying some jewellery. Brilliant costomer service from Ayesha, she was very helpful and friendly. Bought a lot more than anticipated, Ayesha helped get us some great offers and deals. Definitely recommend! Hoping to purchase more this Christmas!

Purchased a ring, never worn but changed our mind (30 day return policy we discussed at the time of purchase)… returned to store and told it was scratched and they could not refund. What an absolute scam. Lied too and told the manager was not in until next week. The staff could not be arsed basically. Visited the store in Preston and they were amazing. The scratch miraculously disappeared too! They refunded me no problem. Will never return to the Blackburn store.

I went into H.Samuel in Blackburn earlier and received service which was above and beyond from Zaiba. She is a lovely person who based on her service alone has solidified my return to this branch next time. A+ service from Zaiba.

Had a voucher of £25 after purchase of hugo boss wrist watch and yesterday was last day luckily I found Armani Exchange watch in sale fo £75 originally was £145 and with the voucher I just paid £50.so really happy with the service. Definitely will recommend and buy more jewelleries in future and hope I receive more vouchers at H. samuel stores 😁.

Went in to buy a Daniel Wellington watch, sales assistant said she will get me a brand new one from the back, ended up giving me one from the display which had scratches on. As i had already paid for it thinking she will get me a brand new one, when i asked to return it there and then, she said i cant until i demanded to speak to the manager who after some debate returned the item. Very unprofessional and rude sales assistant will never be going here again!!

Was in Harrogate on Friday and ordered a wedding ring with my fiancée and was told there was only one left in the country in Chelmsford at size P and as we live in Blackburn, we said we would order and pick up there. They said it would be delivered by Tuesday and we ordered it on Friday and we had paid a deposit. We were very happy and loved the ring and thought great we will get on Tuesday. Been in store for it today only to be told that the ring has been discontinued and the ring we had ordered has been cancelled. The customer service was appalling and the Assistant Manager Nicol was rude at times and didn't apologise at all and just said it happens. We then asked for our deposit back and had the receipt, only to be told that on the system the ring and our order had not been cancelled by head office therefore we could not have a refund until they had cancelled it. He said they could only refund us if we had brought the ring back. How can we do that when we don't have the ring in the first place. It was really stupid and disappointing. No money off or other choices on rings for the same price. Still trying to upsell with poor service. We went to Peter Jackson and got cheaper better ring with really nice service.

Missing diamond after 9 months of wear. They have told me im going to get charged to replace it despite the fact other people have had problems with this happening with the same ring (no reviews on new product at point of order). At what point would you accept a manufacturing defect. Poor. Taking ring elsewhere to get reset properly why the hell would I pay you to do it. When the reviews say you can't even do this properly for other customers who have ended up paying. Awful service and awful company. Buyers beware! Take your money elsewhere. In response to the below: I've already contacted you so what exactly would the point of calling you again be.... this is just another blatant fob off to make it look like your actually doing something. Its too little too late. My comments stand.

Sales assistant had NO real interest in helping, pretty poor effort really. But if they can afford to turn customers away, then they must be booming in sales.

A good range of items , I was largely ignored but for me that was fine I felt no way about it

Returned a necklace where the diamonds came out of the centre piece in strips. Lady in the shop said that they hadn't seen it happen before but as a goodwill gesture they would replacey necklace with a brand new one. I'm sorry but it was only 3 months old and that shouldn't have happened, goodwill gesture or not, not good enough from such a well-known store!
