Nice brew, helpful staff. That's it. Otherwise, dust on the handrail all along the balcony dirty bases on the tables floor not the cleanest. Didn't stay longer than I needed to. I shall end like I started good brew though.

The coffee and cakes are good, as is the service. However, in this time of global pandemic it's an absolute disgrace that the wearing of face coverings is optional as is social distancing. Plus the seating is uncomfortably exposed to people walking past. And the prices are just extortionate.

Only reason to come really is for the hot chocolate, winter character roast was okay but nothing special. There are better priced coffee shops out there. It's location in the mall means it's very load and not really a place to relax.

Very Tasty and the provision of Soya milk made it better for me.

Nine times out of ten that I go to this particular branch my order is messed up or people who ordered later (like 8 in the queue behind me) get their drinks before me. I have witnessed staff pushing friends into the queue or talking over customers. If you want good service or the correct order go to the drive thru by asda as unless you are mates with the batistas you won't get it at this particular branch.

Although not the worst costa in Blackburn it's pretty bad , often very dirty, tables not cleaned , staff talking whilst the que is all the way to the entrance . Just very poor .

Just popped in for a coffee with my friend in between shopping, all very nice but waited quite a while as there was a big queue.

Ok so who thought grabbing a hot drink could add such a pleasant experience to the day. The 2 ladies that served me yesterday were just so lovely, I didn't catch their names but the one on the till had braided slightly more brunette hair and the lady that made my hot chocolate had blonde tied back hair. Honestly they were the loveliest ever, I got the celebration muffin and it didn't say if it was suitable for vegetarians and so they went out their way to make sure it was suitable for all my dietary requirements, they didn't waste anytime (as I was on my lunch break and really appreciated this) and made up my hot chocolate at the same time, my order was ready promptly and i was even give a paper bag for my muffin as I was also carrying biscuits and it was nice of the staff member to notice and went out of her way to make it easier for me. (They deserve a raise! Or a bonus atleast ;) ) And I will also add that the chocolate celebration muffin was really really nice!

Honestly I don’t think it’s even this store many stores accross the country will close off the shop one hour early so they can clean up it’s really unacceptable. Why though they close at 6pm according to the website so I don’t get it . Also they wouldn’t serve hot food and they have 1 hour 30 mins to close really bad tbh and costa head office should know about this. How long does it take to clean up? Seriously

Just had skinny latte and lemon muffin. Both were delicious. It was a queiter time when I visited so no long queue. Staff always pleasant and do their best to serve you quickly despite not seeming to have enough staff.

Slow service, placed onevsit in order and made it takeout. Transferred cup to glass with no plate, spoon etc. Do they not even do complementary biscoff biscuits anymore? Seating area and tables dirty too. Should of gone to Rhode Island.
