Tourist attraction • Roller coaster

👍 Avalanche was the first ride I went on at Blackpool pleasure beach, and it did not dissapoint! It feels like your on a rattle snake, and it was really shocking to be on as i didn’t watch any POV’s of the ride at all before boarding, a bit rough on the turns, but really good People often mention ride,

Very creamy ride! Enjoyed being bummed by a friend. Bobsleigh section is very unique. The ride overall isn't too fast or thrilling, but it's still an overall good time and I'd reccomend it to anyone at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The queue also moved very quickly which was nice.

Avalanche is a steel bobsled roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England. It is the first and, as of 2020, the only bobsled roller coaster in the United Kingdom. It was designed for the park by Mack of Germany in 1988.

It's quite interesting :) it's not super exciting, I wish it could be so much longer lasting than what it is but it's not that scary. There's no drops there's just a lot of force felt in your face. I like the fast speed it goes at though.

It's not particularly bad, and I will ride it, but the seating can be quite uncomfy when you're sat on someone, and if the person in front isn't small it's also uncomfy then. Very easy to staple yourself if you're sat in front, and the ride experience doesn't offer much more than a pretty-views lift hill and shakey experience. It's one you'd have to have a go at, and people tend to love it, but don't come in expecting a great coaster.

A thrilling ride for all the family! A unique rollercoaster which twists and turns and really picks up the pace! The queue can usually get very busy and long during the summer however it’s worth the wait! The alpine theming in the station immerses and enhances the overall experience! On-ride photography too! Nice area as well with a small cafe and shop!

This is a fun and fast bobsled. The riding position is a bit uncomfortable though. I sat in front and my boyfriend behind so I squeezed on top of him and the lap bar crammed into my tummy. Not the best, but still a fun ride which was worth a 30 minute queue time.

Great coaster. Queue line is one of the better lines to stand in. My 7 year old girl loves going on this with me, we've been coming here since she was 4/5 and she loved it then and still loves it now!

Very underrated coaster with a lovely station and a nice pacey layout with good transitions. Runs very fast in the rain as well. The new entrance sign is fantastic and it's great that it's now running on a 2 train service again.

Very enjoyable and much faster than i expected it to be. it does only run one train however so queue time could be a while, definitely recommend doing this early before queues build.
