Tom the GM and his partner who's name I'm very sorry to say I've forgotten were so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. It was made clear from when we checked in that they would always be on hand if we needed anything. It was also really reassuring to know the exterior doors were kept locked at night which made us feel especially safe, we all know what blackpool can be like on a Friday night! The room and communal areas were very clean and residents bar is reasonably priced and inviting, we felt very much at home there. It is also perfectly placed to visit both the town for resteraunts and bars and for the pleasure beach and sandcastle, both being around a mile from the hotel (approximately £5-7 in a local taxi if you don't fancy the walk) For the price we paid we didn't expect much but this stay massively exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to visit again and see how well this hotel progresses in the future and spend some more time with Tom and family. 10/10 would recommend even if you don't usually stay in a budget hotel this one will surprise you!

I stayed here with my partner and 3 kids, to say i was very disappointed is an understatement! The room we booked online was completely different to what it was when we turned up. No heating, tv wasn’t working, no hot water, wardrobe door was hanging off an my little boy caught his finger in it, stains on the bedding an walls and the curtains were filthy and hanging off. I am far from happy with our stay here, we were going to book another night because we wanted to stay the full weekend but had to look for another hotel because I couldn’t let my kids stay there again. Will not be coming back to this hotel and i advise people to stay away unless you want to be leaving the place feeling like your covered in bugs.

The room wasn't finished when we arrived at 7pm. Bed not made, no cleaning had been done, not even general hygiene let alone daily cleaning. It was abhorrent. Vile grime. Stains everywhere, shower was covered hair and dirt. The toilet was stained with feces. Room looked nothing like the pictures online we were catfished. The room again was an airing cupboard, Harry Potter had more space. Overwhelming hot. Didn't even feel like it was supposed to be a room for rent. Water was grey/green at times. No bin, like hello? People were loud and partying all night into the early morning. 3 people were given wrong keys ours didn't work on our room. And to top it all off was charged £80 for a closet. Would not recommend anyone that cares about cleanliness and standards to sleep there.

Have to give the overall stay 4* with pleasure. Location was brilliant in terms of bars and restaurants. The price I paid for the room I was more than happy with the accommodation. I had no faults whatsoever in terms of the bed, slept like a baby both nights. The manager Gary was ever so helpful and was really attentive, would definitely stay again.

Arrived the female owner was lovely, very polite, however her husband seemed drunk. The room we had was small for 4 of us however we didn’t mind as we was only staying the one night. Rooms are a little dated, not a place I’d go for a long stay however for a night or two it isn’t bad. Also a lot of stairs!

Below is why only one star. Late check in time. Front door didn't work properly with key, had to mess with it to get it. Nobody at reception in the evening. Rooms were cold with no heater in the room. TV didn't work and had a wrong remote for it. Toilet door was broken and replaced with a flimsy slider door. Room was filthy and needed a proper clean, curtains had so many stains on them too. 2 of the 3 nights there were people shouting and arguing in front of the hotel with nobody stopping it that lasted for about an hour. Shower floor was damaged.

The one star i am awarding this hotel is for the free wifi. Hotel room was filthy, bed mattress was placed on top of a base that was alot smaller so the mattress hung over at each side. Bathroom light was wired up to the shower switch. Bathroom was about as big as a cupboard which can not be classed as a private bathroom. Sheets on the bed was not changed as we found stains in them and hair. Wardrobe and bedside table provided but not used as they were dirty. Overall my advise would be if you are that desperate for somewhere to stay in blackpool, the beach front shelters would be a better option.

We stayed here not by choice but as relocated from the hotel we booked. Now this is a budget hotel and the review does reflect this, I have stayed in many budget hotels over the years and whilst this wasn't the worst it is 1 of the worst I've stayed at. As seen in photos drawings on walls, damage on the shower runner door which meant you could get stuck in the bathroom or at least made exiting tricky, a wardrobe that was as wobbly as jelly in addition to a Bed that felt you were sleeping on a hillside as had sunken at the side along with a TV that had no signal at all and something sticky on the floor. The overall room is what you expect from a budget hotel and it is priced in the lower side for Blackpool, The hotel did feel secure with decent locks on front main and bedroom doors. The location is good, within minutes to the beach and only a short walk to the main centre In summary I wouldn't stay here again as there are better, similar priced hotels in Blackpool that were much nicer, even as budget options

The most disgusting hotel I have had the misfortune to stop in. Room was filthy, windows didn’t shut properly. Laminate flooring was all broken up. Wardrobe was one box with massive screws out the side. TV didn’t work and bracket was lop sided with huge screw holes in the wall. How they have the nerve to charge any money for such a disgusting hotel

After reading the reviews ( just before we got to the place ) I was quite scared, but it turned out to be a very nice place to stay. It was clean , carpets, toilets, sheets, towels, so basically what you really need. The beds were very comfy ( and this comes from someone who slept there while heavily pregnant)! Not giving you the 5star review only because we found it a bit noisy, maybe asking the guests to reduce noise from a certain time of the night would help... ? Thank you!!

We booked a family room last minute as we decided to go to Blackpool for the day/night with the kids. The room was very basic and in need of some work. The kids bunk bed was very squeaky, making it impossible to sleep through. The double bed was not comfortable at all. The windows and curtains were dirty. The bedside drawers were missing handles and the toilet itself wasn't bolted down so not a fun experience for the kids. Lots of marks on the walls and ceilings which considering the walls and ceiling is artexed it would be easy to freshen up. And as for the cleanliness of the bathroom, I'd sack the cleaners. Great location but a bit of work would make it much better.

The managers have only been there 6 weeks and they are lovely! Very welcoming and friendly. We got to meet the new puppy Gizmo and the budgie Casper! We really enjoyed our stay and slept soundly even though we were on the 1st floor at the front of the property which faces onto a road. We didn't need parking as we used the train so this wasn't an issue. If we needed anything, they were very helpful. There was a small leak from toilet but it was rectified as soon as we told them. The rooms are a little dated, however this isn't the fault of the managers, they can only do so much, the upkeep of the building is on the owners of 'myRoomz'. £40-60 is very much a great price for this accommodation if you're only staying 1-2 nights. If it's luxury you're after, maybe a Premier Inn or other mainstream hotel would better suit your needs. If you're just looking for a place to get your head down for the night, this is the place for you! The beds were comfy and clean and the room was big enough for the double bed and single bed that we booked. We originally booked 1 night but were happy enough to book again the next morning and stay an extra night as we wanted to see the 'Ride The Lights' event where 6 miles of the promenade was closed to traffic and you could cycle the length of the illuminations. Thank you for a pleasant stay. The bathroom, which contained a shower, sink and toilet was very small but again, if you're only staying 1-2 nights, this really shouldn't be an issue. I am a big guy so it felt smaller to me than my partner and son who said they had no issues.

Hi It was very bad experience to book a room in this hotel. It was ruined my trip because I booked a deluxe room when I went there I was disappointed. Its smeey. Messy carpet. My kids not felt good to walk without slipper. Shower room oops. Even toilet are small. Curtain are dirty. Not proper cleaning in the room. Different types of carpets all over the hotel. I hVe no words about furniture I can't put anything in it. I was totally disappointed.

Recently had a 3 night break here with my family and it's the worst condition hotel I've been in it shouldn't even be rated let alone a 2star!! The manager there called Vanessa is nice and she's a good manager of the hotel, so the hotel condition is nothing to do with her it's the owner of myRoomz!! Needs a major update, new carpets, bathroom doors hanging off, no remote for TV, shower and bathroom small and dated, aspestos artex still in the rooms, this should be removed by law. Not safe to sleep in. Mattresses are stained and paints flaking off, considering reporting them to environmental health. Warning!!!! Do not book here, feel sorry for the manager and her husband. the owners need the business taking off them.

DO NOT BOOK ! - This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it was more like a homeless hostel. We booked for 2 nights but left 1st thing in the morning after the 1st night. Dirty room, toilet door that didn’t close, shower that didn’t work at all, uncomfortable beds, previous guest’s cans of beer left in room, toothpaste still all over the sink and the owners and their friends partied till 3am drinking, shouting and swearing - DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE !

Stayed here for a weekend. New owners running things and trying to fix it up. Our room was basic and met our needs unfortunately it was cramped with 3 beds, the windows were both broken and did not lock so my wife got cold at night. The whole place could do with lick of paint and some maintenance. The location is great right in the middle of prom.

The hosts where lovely people who had only recently taken over who where incredibly friendly. The room was clean however it was a little tired. The location in proximity to the tower and other attractions was very close however it was on a back steet that had no parking out front though there is a pay and display car park a five minute walk away
