The Rowan Hotel

Bed and breakfast

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of the very best B&Bs we have stayed in on our extensive travels. Beautifully cared for rooms, choice of breakfast with a full English that is not swimming in grease, prices that cannot be better for the quality, in fact I think they could get away with charging more for the service they provide... Fantastic three night stay, I have never been made to feel so welcome in any other hotel. John and Maddie were fantastic hosts, really great fun and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable too with a firm mattress and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were truly yummy and filled us for nearly the whole day. The well run and well stocked bar also made our stay! The location is ideal as it's walking distance to the town centre, (though there is a convenient tram) without being in the midst of the renowned nightlife. This was my first visit to Blackpool and I loved it, so much to do! I will be back and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and one of the best I've ever stayed in. Maddie and John were so welcoming from the start to ensure our stay was a great one. They showed us around the hotel on arrival and told us the best ways to get around Blackpool. The room was very comfortable with a huge bed, sofa, tea and coffee, and ensuite bathroom. It was absolutely spotlessly clean too. Downstairs the bar was great with a nice selection of beers, wines and gins. As well as a superb sound set up with great music. There is ample car parking on the street or a car park at the back. The breakfast was delicious with all the traditional choices like bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash browns, eggs, toast, mushrooms etc. We will definitely be returning here when we are next in Blackpool.

Very friendly hosts, incredibly clean, fantastic breakfast and lovely relaxed bar area. What more could you want from a Blackpool stay? Not right in the centre so nice and quiet but a couple of minutes from the tram stop and a ten minute ride to The Tower.

Stayed here 3 times now...Maddie and John are so welcoming. Always spotlessly clean and breakfast nice. Good location in a quiet side road with parking and tram and bus stops at end of road. Hotel has a bar with good prices and a good selection of gins.

One of the very best B&Bs we have stayed in on our extensive travels. Beautifully cared for rooms, choice of breakfast with a full English that is not swimming in grease, prices that cannot be better for the quality, in fact I think they could get away with charging more for the service they provide, and a reception that you get when coming home to meet old friends again. I would highly recommend The Rowan; there would be no point looking for anywhere better as they are at the very top of the list and cannot be beaten. See you both soon, love Traci and Karl xx

We had a brilliant stay at the Rowan as a family and highly reccomend a stay here. Our hosts John and Maddie made every effort to accommodate and entertain us all. The breakfast was lovely and filled us up for virtually the whole day - great value! Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. John and Maddie helped us with everything from taxi's to takeaways and we opted to stay in the bar there rather than heading out as we enjoyed it so much. Thanks you both for a brilliant weekend😊

Absolutely love this place. If we ever stay in blackpool, the Rowan is the first place we come. Cater to families, couples, you name it. Maddie and John absolutely make this place a great night, a great place to stay and worth every penny. If you want quality service and made to feel at home, then come to the Rowan πŸ₯°

You could not wish for nicer hosts than John and Maddie. They are so welcoming and accommodating it almost feels like you're staying with family. We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is substantial and tasty, with plenty of tea and coffee. We will definitely stay here again

Maddy and John were very attentive and made it a great experience. Nice breakfast, lovely bar (with great prices) and the rooms had everything that you would need. Would definitely advise others to stay here if going to Blackpool! πŸ‘

John and Maddie Hughes make you feel so welcome, the rooms are beautiful I had a family room and inside was clean fresh tea and coffee facilities, extra pillows in the cupboard. The breakfast is amazing from cereal to toast to a big fry up, but you can ask for something different like I did without the bacon sausage black pudding. The bar is open and Maddie serves you while John does some entertainment with his singing on the karaoke, but over hall a fantastic hotel to come to. X

Comfy beds hot shower nice and clean, what more can you ask for Breakfast was lovely very tasty, Hosts were very friendly, parking was available and there is a bar which we didn't use as by the time we got back I was ready for my bed, situated on the north side we used the tram to get around Blackpool get on / off at cliff hotel. which was brilliant 24hr ticket Β£5 50 or 3 day pass it's well worth it. Hop on hop off if you don't want to walk, enjoyed our stay and I would return if ever in Blackpool
