Enjoy the great seaview and relaxed environment. You can find lots of shops, food stalls and entertainment centres along the promenade!

The promenade has been improved over the last few years. Now there is a live DJ working on the promenade blasting out some great tunes near the tower. Theres also a load of facts and jokes on the floor around the area in front of the tower. The Promenade is nice and clean and friendly for all ages. You get a great view of one of the UK'S best beaches. Theres also places to sit and relax if needed, not to mention all of the fancy lighting which is strung up to make the place look beautiful in the night. Overall, the promenade is a vibrant and exciting place, I would recommend.

The promenade with the jokes and images and text is wonderful and fun and witty. The stores have the normal seaside tat. The Beach side restaurant was lovely. There are 3 piers. Best part the tower, the joke floor, the view of the sea. Shops aren't that friendly. Car park isn't expensive.

It’s a good place even though it rained a lot I went to see the circus and spent plenty of time In the arcades lots of souvenirs plenty to do if you take any tram ride I would advise to get a weekly ticket which does cost Β£22 but it will save you money especially if you go on many trams while you are in Blackpool at least with the weekly ticket last all day for 7 days plenty of entertainment for all the family young to old very friendly people and plenty of places to eat I recommend the vegas of the north to anyone

Enjoyed walking down the promenade and seeing the lights. The kids really loved the amusements and rides along the pier.

Went during the Fireworks championships, great atmosphere, lots of people, easy to find somewhere to sit to watch the show.

Nice long beach it goes for miles. We were lucky as the weather was nice and we enjoyed going from Pleasure beach all the way to the Metropole. It is very well maintained clean and multi users friendly. Walkers, bikes, wheelchairs, pushchairs...

The main strip. Not bad if you get lucky with the weather. It's a lively place, especially when stags and hens are going on. The water doesn't look too inviting, but there's plenty of other stuff going on around you. Rides, attractions, arcades, food, and drink.

The illuminations and lightpool are temporarily on for the King's Coronation and this is great to see and a nice added bonus for visitors to enjoy.

Gorgeous time in blackpool! Wasn’t as busy on the beach below the northern prom! Can buy tickets to go on the rides but can only use card for transactions Β£10 or over! The Flying Bob is MENTAL! You’ll be dizzy but it’s thrilling for a little ride!

As a local I love walking along here early in the morning before the hustle and bustle starts. When the tide is in and the sea laps up against the seawall the sound is soon relaxing but when the tide is out the vast expanse of empty beach is awe inspiring. On busy weekends it is great to just walk around and people watch, great to see people enjoying themselves on a day out at the seaside. Credit must go to Blackpool Council for the work they do to keep things clean during busy periods, I often see the cleaners at work on my early morning walks.

When the sun is shining this was an absolute dream walk. Beautiful sunset to finish off our evening. Shame about all the rubbish and fag butt's on the floor which could do with a cleanup.

Like the rest of Blackpool, the illuminations are looking a little tired. The beauty is still there but a facelift is required. I'd still recommend checking them out.

No shops obviously, but there is the three Piers and RNLI shop in the Central area. Clean, well looked after and not as busy as across the road....obviously because that is where the shops are. There are lots of seagulls but I've always found them friendly and it's even nice to feed them.

The promenade is, I think, also known as the Golden Mile. During the period of the Blackpool Illuminations and at night, it is an astonishing variety of lights that centre on the tower. This is a site worth seeing. In daylight hours, it would take Raymond Chandler to adequately describe the rather shabby and run down parts. It's particularly grim when it rains.
