Booked a pitch at dkit sport through dkit sports society but was denied at entry due to a computing error. When asked for proof I provided the necessary information and was still denied access to the pitch I booked. Customer service was non existent and was told that I had to go back to dkit campus and rebook or provide proof that I booked the pitch which they already had proof themselves.I asked that they could provide me with the relevant contact information to the dkit staff member who could give the proof of booking I was again denied. At this point students who were going for a game of football that was booked were denied access. I once held this sporting facility with a high regard but now after this incident I felt dissatisfied and disgusted with the neglect in the way of resolving the problem which again could of easily been fixed if the customer service were more helpful. I'm hopeful the DKIT sport staff can learn from this and avoid this same problem in the future.

I have been with DKIT sport more than 3 years. It is the most expensive gym in Dundalk but it is also the best. However, I was not convinced about the recent price increase as they decided to upgrade the gym which is not everybody’s need. To be honest I only use the swimming pool and go to use the gym equipment once in 2 months or even less. So it is too much for me to pay for only swimming pool. One more thing, I can't believe DKIT don't provide Zumba/Konga classes and Yoga/Pilates classes . For that, so many times I was atemped to switch to Felda (another gym in Dundalk). All that being said, as you can see from the photos the equipment is quite new. Despite being expensive it is still the best in town I guess. If you are new in Dundalk and unsure about which gym you should join I recommend you avail of the free trial service to decide. If you know you will be living in Dundalk for more than one year , then definitely go with annual payment at once rather than monthly debit, saves you some money.

I had my daughter's birthday party there and everything was terrible, nothing was planned. It was supposed to be a sports day party, but the girl who should guide the kids was very unprepared, she did 15min activity then let the kids on their own, and they started to get bored. I had to ask for drinks and a ball to try keep the kids busy, When was time to have the food the girl was in a hurry, the chicken was spicy so none of the kids ate, and the worst when it was time to sing happy birthday, there was no lighter to light the candle, my daughter was super disappointed, thanks to a friend of mine that had a lighter in her car and saved the day. I truly regret having my daughter's party there and I don't recommend the place to anyone. They are not prepared for this type of event. If I could I would give no star at all.

Had a party in DKIT Sport for our child. Very disorganised, staff very unprofessional. Food late and 1 child did without food for 25 mins as they short delivered. Worst venue i have ever booked for a party. When paying over €200 for 90 mins you expect better. No popcorn or jelly as paid for and advertised. Spoke to manager which was a waste of time

Useful for training when the pitches are unusable, however it is pretty cramped and indoor 3G for rugby leaves everyone a bit dusty and grey. Parking always crowded around the front with 100s of spaces 50 m away !

Great atmosphere on gym floor with all new equipment. Music playing in the background or play your own tunes, helpful friendly staff. Pool, steam room and jacuzzi.

Good gym But needlessly expensive. I forgot my sweat towel and had to buy one of theirs. A tiny towel like the ones you get in Pennys 3 for 2 euro. They charge 6.50 in DKIT. It's a great gym but just offensively expensive
