I have placed several orders here over the past few months (delivery). Always slow. Food arrives room temperature. On one occasion a manager or employee called up and complained about not having drivers and if I could come pick it up. Mind you this was after it had already sat around getting cold. If I'm going to drive somewhere I am going to go to a local place that's cheaper and better. Also, on two occasion the driver just dropped off the pizza without knocking, ringing the doorbell, or texting me.

Whenever I order at this place, they always make me feel guilty for ordering here. The workers always make it very known that they do not want us to order. Also the food quality isn't there even if you do get to order from here

Apparently no one can read at this location. I ordered their papadia twice on two separate occasions and asked for no onions twice. First time they had onions in mine and I thought it's an honest mistake it happens. They exchanged it so whatever. But today they messed up the same simple instruction. It's not a difficult request to follow. It even shows up on the label. Awful experience twice. Totally incompetent

I ordered food for a delivery then I got a call from the store 25 minutes later the guy was yelling on the phone, gotta a terrible attitude saying they don’t have drivers I asked if they even made the food and his respond was obviously no After 25 or 30 minutes of ordering!! and making you feel terrible ordering from there then he hang up on me with out saying anything about my refund I went to the store to ask about my refund I walk in simply asking about it and why you talk like this he started yelling, and cussing they were also 2 other customers in the store they all walked out then the employee actually got out fighting and yelling and cussing in the parking lot while me and the other customers were leaving this is absolutely the WORST of the WORST pizza place in town and not worth your money.

Too much bbq, the chicken was hard. They used older dough so it was stretched and had bubbles and the edge lock sucked!! I'm so disappointed with how low quality that they have become!! I worked there, have great things to say about them and ALOT of bad, but I still eat it and I still expect to be served like any other customers. For the price of the pizza!! This sh*t should be made with love and fresh ingredients!! Not dough that sat out for 8 hours and has expanded. Anyways, I am sure I will be back. They're garlic parmesan bread sticks are one of my son's favorite things. As for the cheese pizza.. when it's not all doughy tasting. $33 for delivery and$28? For pickup? Way to much for a few bites of each pizza. I'm so disappointed 😞

Staff tend to have an attitude here but the last straw was a few weeks ago I picked up a pizza and it was all messed up but on top of that the ONE person working had a passive aggressive attitude and intentionally made me wait before handing me my order. I didn't say anything but responded to the order survey I received via email detailing all of order issues. I then received an email from the regional manager apologizing and pretending he cared, saying they would make it right because it was not Papa's "gold standard." I provided more details in my response to him and 2-3 weeks later I've still not received a response. It's one thing to have some dud employees and ask for feedback but when you feign good customer service then ghost the complainant it adds insult to injury. I won't be returning to this store.

I ordered papa johns tonight spent $30.00 i got a half and half pizza and garlic knots my pizza had like 1 topping per slice and the garlic knots was just dough NO garlic with a side of Ranch.....when i called back to let them know what happened i got hung up on 3 times and out on hold for over 5mins then the manager acted like she got agitated with me.......ummmmm i did not mess up the order yall did!!!!! So needless to say im NOT HAPPY!!!!!

This place is the worst. Food either turns up cold or doesn’t turn up at all. Staff don’t care and give you attitude when you try and resolve the situation. Avoid at all costs

Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about the Blacksburg VA Papa John's customer service. My pizza took forever to arrive and the Door Dash Driver simply dropped it outside my door even though I asked to have it handed to me. My pizza was cooked and took about 40 minutes to transit literally a few miles to my location. When I called the person who answered the phone stated that they only had one driver working so they had Door Dash deliver. He said he could not be responsible for Door Dash and would not offer anything since I complained. My advice is to use caution when dealing with this location. The gentleman who answered the phone had no interest in delivering quality pizza in a timely manner. He also lacked any customer service etiquette.

I am food delivery driver.I went there around 4:35pm and I waited 40mins for my order. They are not busy at this time. There was a one boy with glasses and a another lady working at that time. The boy was so rude, I asked for the order for more than 10times. He throw the pizza dough plate so badly in the wall. I got scared and I left the place. I don’t recommended anyone here. Be careful with that boy!!!!!!

Simply awful! The remake was just as poor quality coupled with the phone staff being rude and disrespectful, hanging up the phone. Actually hanging up on a paying customer! What is wrong with this picture? I no longer care to find out...

I love Papa John's pizza so I will continue to get pizza here, but I was somewhat disappointed with my most recent experience. Despite living in Blacksburg city limits and less than 10 miles/less than 15 minutes from the shop, delivery wasn't an option. I had also asked for extra pepperoni, but on only half the pizza. Instead, we got light pepperoni on the entire pizza, and it was oddly underneath the cheese instead of on top. I don't know where the wires were crossed as it was an online order, not something on the phone that could be misunderstood. However the pizza did taste good and was ready for pickup within 20 minutes which was great, and I'm glad they are able to stay open despite local staffing shortages.

I had bad severe at this store bc I ordered food there and when I got my food it was not right when I called the manager she said that she could not have done nothing for me for my order and so I’m unhappy with the service that they gave me

Ordered pizza at 5o’clock didn’t get it until 6:30and it was cold and wasn’t even sliced and the wannabe female Filiberto thing got a attitude with me because I didn’t give it a tip. Would not order from this branch if I were you I won’t again

My roommate and I ordered a pizza from here over DoorDash. Apparently they just let anyone come in and take your order because someone stole the pizza before the dasher even got there. Now we have to fight DoorDash to get our money back.

“If you don’t love your pizza, tell us why and we’ll deliver another one absolutely free.” Is apparently not true at this Papa John’s. My girlfriend ordered a gluten free 10 inch pizza because she is allergic, and she received a regular crust. She, politely explained this and was told to present her pizza back at the shop before we could get the right pizza. Not really how we wanted to spend our evening.

I put my order in FORTY NINE MINUTES before close and these lazy clowns canceled it. Shut your ordering system off if you're not taking orders instead of wasting my time. I called in and the situation is what it is, I'm not asking for special treatment, but the kid was super rude about it. They also don't take Papa Johns coupon codes like every other location. I have lived in a lot of cities, and this is far and away the worst Papa Johns I have ever experienced. I don't get it.

My order was delivered completely wrong and when I called the store to ask for help they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I was told that there was no possible way for me to get any sort of refund. I had to then drive to the store myself eventhough I paid for delivery. I was told my remade food would be ready in 15 minutes, but instead it took an hour. I’m extremely disappointed in the staff and costumer service.
