Five
stars
for
the
food,
the
generous
and
fast
service,
with
a
warm
smile
too.
It
started
with
offering
to
open
our
wine
bottle,
fresh
water
came,
and
wonderful
crispy,
sliced
warm
bread
in
a
cotton
napkin
in
a
basket.
They
served
a
kind
of
pate,
pickled
beets,
home
made
ketchup,
and
sliced
pickled
onion.
The
highlight
of
the
meal
was
the
brie
cheese
baked
in
maple
syrup
and
topped
by
dried
cranberries
and
walnuts.
Followed
by
a
very
good
thick
Pea
soup.
Then
came
long
pieces
of
roasted
potatoes,
ham
cut
in
thick
slices
cooked
in
maple
syrup,
and
very
tender.
A
puffed
omelet...more
vegetable
ketchup,
and
beets.
Then
came
Christ-ears
crisp
and
dry.
The
next
surprise
was
an
icecream
cone
with
a
ball
of
maple
syrup
moose...lovely!
Then
we
were
asked
if
we
want
our
desert....maple
sugar
pie
or
pudding
Chaumeur
which
was
very
good.
The
whole
experience
was
beautiful.
The
owner
really
cares
about
her
customers.
We
only
found
it
a
bit
too
noisy.
The
acoustics
was
perhaps
good
for
musicians....for
restaurant
patrons
something
should
be
done
to
tone
down
the
noise
from
the
other
tables.
Also
perhaps
add
a
few
pieces
of
art
on
the
walls
to
create
more
ambience.
We
will
be
back!
