The McArthur Manor is absolutely beautiful. The facilities, the grounds, the food - all top shelf!! But the gold of the Manor is Nicholas and Cynthia— they are absolutely lovely and made the experience 100x above my expectations. I recommend this Manor with all my heart and soul.

McArthur Manor was the perfect place for a recent family trip to Scotland. 8 adults and 10 children were easily accommodated with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The real joy, however, was everything that McArthur Manor had to offer. Between authentic Scottish breakfasts, a true Scottish pub (in-house), and plenty of entertainment, there was never a dull moment. The location of McArthur Manor also made it the right choice for our family. You're less than 1 hour from any number of sites and activities. Personally, we ventured out to St. Andrews, Perth, Edinburgh, Balmoral Castle, as well as many of the quaint small towns that make Scotland the country that it is. One of my personal favorites was Dunkeld (which is also where we did some fly fishing--great experience!). At the end of the day, Nicholas and his staff were second to none and accommodated all of our needs. I look forward to the day we can make a return trip!

I recently attended an exclusive-use company retreat at McArthur Manor. With the luxury estate all to ourselves, it felt like visiting Scottish family in Blairgowrie. Nick and the Manor staff were outstanding-- kind, gracious and fun-- and did everything from addressing individual dietary concerns to arranging transportation for our departure. Our last evening, the Manor gave us a truly memorable authentic Scottish experience which included traditional Scottish food and drink, a bagpipe performance, a visit from a local dignitary and ceilidh dancing. Thank you McArthur Manor for such a special stay!

A week of BLISS, celebrating a 50th anniversary (parents), we were a group of 18, ages ranging from 7 - 75! This is the Scottish Experience we were looking for! Our stay at McArthur Manor was great for all; and that's saying a lot, as our group was quite diverse in terms of interests, expectations and age! At our arrival (and even before that based on excellent planning communications) we were all welcomed warmly by Nicholas, and from that point we spent a week comfortably and often times luxuriously at the manor, with help when we needed it and privacy when we preferred it. The Manor itself had everything we would need, and then some!, including large and traditionally decorated ensuite bedrooms, a bar area, a lounge area with fireplace, recreation area with billiards and ping pong, a lovely outdoor dining area, and all that complimented by 2 elegant dining rooms each able to easily accommodate our group. Proximity from Edinburgh was easy and we used the location to conveniently visit many memorable trips through stunning Scottish country. Will definitely return!

Fantastic location and the facilities are first class. Booked for a stag weekend, the in house facilities are great and the staff were very helpful and willing to help when asked. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Bar facilities were great and full use of the kitchen. Not far from the town and all local amenities. Fully recommend and suitable for all forms of group or family events.

We stayed here in august 2023 with our company and we had a wonderful stay. The surrounding area is very beautiful and the manor is a sight in of itself, with clean and spacious rooms. The host Nicholas went above and beyond in order to make our stay nice and enjoyable, and helped us with whatever we needed, staying up to 2:00 AM to make sure we had a great night. Overall I highly recommend going to McArthur Manor for your company event or similar style of events.

A very flexible place for a bespoke party. Staff are very friendly and helpful. House is fancy but relaxed. House rules are clearly explained before booking and all fair with no surprises. Lots of shops and other accommodation nearby. I chose McArthur Manor as I could book it for a birthday party before knowing how many people would come and then let the plans evolve. It did not disappoint. We used the nearby lodges for some guests and enjoyed a ceilidh in the large terrace room

The venue and the setting are stunning and we picked the option of whole place to ourselves with no support from Nicholas or his team - we did buy a keg of beer and the no washing up service … can’t fault a single thing. We had full use of the kitchen - all the rooms were spotless and communication before/during and after were excellent. Great spaces to mix and chat and also breakaway and do your own thing when you want. Turned a family gathering into a truly memorable weekend

Just the perfect place to host a multi generational family party. Everything we needed in the kitchen and the terrace room the best place for pass the parcel and dad’s old slides. Table tennis and pool an added bonus for us all. A very happy family indeed. Thank you Nicholas and team.

McArthur Manor was a bit of DOWNTON ABBEY circa 2023. I recently spent a magical week there as a mentor for Roadmap Writers with a fellow Nicholas as our very lovely and kind host. I managed to secure the working room with the roaring fire as my go to place, but the many rooms were equally delightful. We had all of our meals (with our dietary complications) cooked by a very caring chef and got to enjoy Scottish dancing (too hard for me), haggis (with the poetic blessing) and, of course, some bag piping. Close to Perth, Glasgow, Edinburgh and St. Andrews. A bit of drizzling heaven.
