A bit of praise to the kids from the lifeguards rather than just whistles and giving out would go a long way. The screws of the slides are still rusted with a few still neglected bits in the pool. The heat in the changing rooms needs to be turned down a few notches. Other than that a great time was had by all/ Time well spent. Memories made with my nephew.

Mens changing areas are in a bad way. The floor feels filthy. The shower area looks dangerous, loads of missing panels in the roof with exposed pipes. A few doors fully removed. This standard shouldn't be acceptable to management.

Not flexible at all.. they do not make any effort to have you at all! After 3 years being a member I will have to go to another gym after been told they could not offer any type of discount or flexibility on the plan as I have an extended trip planned to visit my family ...the options given to me were: or you pay the price, or you pay the price! Such a shame... will not recommend to friends that, like me, have family abroad..

A bit boring. Doesn’t worth 18€. We have no children but if you ask me children can enjoy more in a normal playground park. But anyway that was a good experience. They can put more facilities to make it more exciting.

Fantastic facilities, with choice of different sports activities for kids. My kids are attending gymnastics and swimming classes (Toddler & Splash), and both classes are done very professional and fun. Small number of children (I think 8), 2-3 teachers per class so that everyone gets attention, and the teachers are great working with small kids (4years old). Customer service is excellent - always someone on the phone and any issue sorted quickly and hassle-free. Very happy that we have this facility close home.

My partner made a booking yesterday which she thought was for Saturday but went through as Friday. We contacted customer service to try and get it changed to the Saturday minutes after the booking was made. The customer service was cheeky very rude and impolite she has very poor customer service skills and was horrible to deal with. Policy states they don't do refunds , we didn't ask for a refund we asked for the booking to be altered. We can do a chargeback with the bank so it's all good but what a horrible woman we got on the phone. Get a new job if you don't like this one. No call back either from a manger. I'll be there tomorrow I'll make a complaint directly then in person. Surely more effort should be made satisfying customer needs when it costs so much to go and use the services you are providing to the public.

We we’re at the big swimming pool. We we’re in the evening so it wasn’t to crowded, we had a lane for ourselves which was very good. Also the staff was really nice especially the young lady at the reception(don’t be abgeschregt by the zugekleisterten haut und den Wimpern) she was so lovely. We will definitely go there again. Xoxo

Great to have the pool open, but very disappointed to find out that there are no showers!!!! I just can't understand how that is helping in spreading the virus!!!!!!! The pool is clean and the process is organized but I'm still shocked about the showers being closed.. I'm sure there are other ideas involving social distancing but more hygienic.

Great training venue for swimmers/ triathletes. Open to the public most days during the year. €8 gets you 3 full ours in the Olympic 50m/25 metre pool. 8 lanes open from -6:00 so you can jump in with very fast masters swimmers or people who are just swimming casually like a regular person. Excellent changing facilities - just remember to bring a €1 coin to secure a locker. Spotless throughout . Reception very helpful for noobs. Decent coffee in the reception cafe from 08:30.

Very disappointed with a recent incident. I have a full year paid online membership for both me and my husband, and I went last week to ask about the free passes as I’d love for my kids to see why we love going to this gym and why they should also join as we never had gotten any and so they said they didn’t have any in that moment and that they would will ring me or my husband to collect them when they had them. we heard nothing in the meantime so I went yesterday around 6:20 pm before my class and they only gave mine and said my husband had already got his which was a lie. If we got them why we go back and ask? I felt that in front of so many people I was being made seem as if I was chasing down free passes as if me annd my husband Dont both have full memberships and Only want to try persuade our kids to also join which is more business for the aquatic centre. I hope they change that behaviour as it’s not professional at all and can make you feel really bad for asking and to double check to see if the passes had been claimed or not . I have to stay as my membership is fully paid for for a year and I do like all the trainers /girls / boys that they do the classes- I do have to say and credit that they’re super friendly and great. But I won’t praise the sale team as they not great which is unfortunate to see because something as simple as a free pass could hold the potential value of bringing in family members of already existing members to your gym.

Very rude staff, including the swimming pool manager. He has no understanding at all, made my 6 years daughter to cry. The receptionist was rude as well, didn't give us any information. Avoid this swimming pool!

The facilities are amazing, but the 3 lanes left for free swimming are always packed. It feels like going through Grafton Street on a Sunday afternoon.

Needs more family changing spots, annoyed that I had to exit and walk around the building to the others idea of the main reception to access the aquazone. Would be great if the waves were a little more regular and the rusty grates every where were replaced/painted and the tiles around the lazy river were given an ole scrub.. Price: honestly a little excessive at 34 quid for 1 adult and 1 child :(

Great day out and cheaper than Funtasia in Drogheda and more swim time. The only thing I'd have a little gripe about was the lockers. A lot of them were broken. The staff were all lovely

Excellent pool, plenty of lanes, busy evenings but still good and can get session done. Badly let down by small changing area with few facilities and lack of space, too many lockers broken and not enough seats. Showers good, hot and clean, toilets also clean and well kept. Good value, 6 euros off peak, 8 euros evenings.

Went here two days in a row to the water park with the kids. The rides are a little dated when compared to newer places but there's enough variety to keep everyone happy. It wasn't too busy when I was there but I can see it getting quite busy during peak periods.

I have only used the football pitches and the outside facilities for running. The off-road course and 1 and 2 km loops are really good, the off-road being à pretty buff area with the opportunity of doing at least 5 km without ever running the same path and with plenty of elevation changes. There's a mix of tarmac and grass to run on, the 1 in loop is great for intervals etc

Very good venue. Very well mantained and lots of facilities available. Parking space is just there. Black spot for public transport. Bus stop is far away and not many buses going there. Sport should be on top of the list.

Edited to 5 stars after visiting another pool at the weekend. Great facilities for those who love swimming. It is THE place. It's a favourite of mine, out of all of the swimming pools I have been to. Unfortunately, their Admin is non--existent. It takes time and patience to navigate it. If you wish to speak to a member of their Sales Team, you will have to go there in person. They won't answer the phone, return emails or phone messages. The staff are initially quite stern but do warm up to you after seeing you for the umpteenth time. Overall it's very good and I would totally recommend it as a facility. I've been to other structures which don't even remotely come close. It's my happy place and will never cheat on it with another pool again.

I went for a swim last weekend and the two ladies at reception were very good and professional. I even forgot my swim cap, and one of them was happy to give me a loan of a spare cap Definitely the best service in a while and much better than the older blonde lady I had to deal with a few weeks back

The swimmingpool is great but I find the place dirty. They don't use the cover for the shoes and this is really strange. All around the swimmingpool the floor is brown-dirty.

Best place I've been in Ireland for a swim. Nice deep pools and a good choice of lengths. Note they don't take cash but you need a euro for the changing room locker.

Needs proper cleaning routine. Changing areas need more sitting. Swimming area decent enough. Balcony seats tho need deep cleaning and updating

  • 2/5 Caroline C. 5 months ago on Google
Pool area so draughty, pool is tepid, the lazy river had no current, the piranha pool was tepid, slides incredibly fast and sore, no where to sit to have a snack or a drink like in centre parcs just a cafe outside when you're dressed again. No hairdryers in changing rooms just weak hand dryers. Waves didn't come on. Very very disappointing.

A great facility close to Dublin! We had a fantastic morning of fun there today with the family. Well run, clean & numerous well trained life guards on duty. Felt safe. Reasonable price also. Queues long after 11am though so would recommend the centre limits access so you don't spend time queuing! Would definitely go again!

Very good place to do your sports activities. As a member you are going to have access to the swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym for a price much lower than the other famous gym in Dublin.

  • 3/5 Stephen O. 1 year ago on Google
A good place for swimming and the gym is good. Very disappointed with Star Bucks in the NAC. The price of the coffee they display are wrong. I questioned this and was told prices have gone up. If you put up your prices you should display these prices.

One of our young boys had a little bump while we were there. The lifeguards were straight over offering help, first aid if needed. We noticed that the lifeguards were very alert and keeping a close on everything. We had a great time.

  • 4/5 James H. 1 year ago on Google
Fun factor for the kids is 100%. Staff were very friendly and on the ball for watching the pools. I just think it lets itself down with the facilities on the day. The changing rooms were not very clean or well maintained just like the showers. One of the shower drains was completely unsecured which left it open for any little foot to fall down it. I had pointed it out to a staff member twice and from what I could tell it was just ignored. He may have sorted it but I couldn't see anything being done.

My 3 year old really enjoyed the aqua zone. I was really annoyed to come out at 3.30pm on a Saturday and the coffee shop had stppped serving hot food. There were quite a few disappointed families. Hardly any sandwiches left in Starbucks. We had to make do w a packet of crisps . Seems crazy to close the cafe so early!

  • 4/5 Armida M. 1 year ago on Google
Great facility and overall customer service from staff. unfortunately it gets quite busy on weekdays evenings and you end up queueing for most of the machines. Showers area could be better cleaned (plenty of hairs in the cubicules)

  • 5/5 Niall B. 1 year ago on Google
The pool is seriously impressive. 10 full lanes, x50m (though at certain times it is split into a 25m pool). Excellent facility, very fair pricing. For info you have to wear a swimming hat and you need €1 coins for the lockers. Was very quiet when we came but I guess gets a lot busier at certain times. Overall though a very impressive facility.

  • 2/5 Jelena T. 1 year ago on Google
The management is not great. My son's swimming lessons were overbooked and as a result we couldn't renew his lessons and had to change the slot. Staff member tried to blame us for not renewing on time 🤐 Coaches change frequently, sometimes weekly, and there are no updates on child's progress - only one update received in 8 weeks, even though they have a portal for parents and are supposed to update it every week. Classes are packed so not enough individual attention for children. Family changing rooms not cleaned properly and frequently smell of urine.

My daughter does swimming lessons here and while you can not fault the staff and instructors, I find the lack of space and benches (in comparison to the amount of lockers) to be a major turn off. My daughter has to queue for the shower as half them don't work and hardly any have a curtain. To then queue to find space to dry off and get changed. She ends up very cold leaving and unlike most others we use public transport so this is unacceptable.

We went there mid afternoon on a Sunday and it was grand and quiet, from the ticket queue to the queues for the slides. The whole family enjoyed our time there and the slides were more fun than I had anticipated! The centre was lovely and clean and plenty of life guards in every area so you could be confident (as much as you can be around water), that your kids are safe.

Went there on a Friday around 2pm, only to discover the waves weren't on & the river was closed. What's the point of having a state of the art complex that only fully opens when it's really busy!! Reminds me of third world country hotels without electricity when they only turn the generators on when the hotel is busy!

This is an interesting one. It's a mix of really awesome features with poor ones. The 50m pool is great in terms of the length - it's rare to get this elsewhere. But the chlorination levels aren't great. The locker rooms are pretty good but a little small. The gym is similar - good equipment, but a bit small for the number of members there. The steam room is nice. The showers are decent - they've recently refurbished so extra points there. The interior decor in general is maybe a bit stagnant. I don't think it's changed much since I went there in 2003. The lost and found is terrible. They won't talk to you in person on the phone about lost and found and when I did arrive up for something, the staff member at the desk just dumped two black bags in front of me and told me to have a look. Needless to say my stuff wasn't there. On the other hand, the sales staff are generally pretty nice. One guy in particular is super friendly and helpful. Same with another guy in the shop selling sports equipment. Lovely guy. But then again, the prices of that equipment are fairly steep if you're just looking for a basic pair of togs. Still, ear plugs behind the desk are only a 5er, which is decent. The vending machines are OK but stuff gets stuck there sometimes and the NAC doesn't take any responsibility for it which is annoying. The price of membership is too high in my opinion. The running track and outdoor machines are great though, and they're FREE! Parking is good - there's a huge car park there so always a space even when it's busy.

  • 5/5 miodek444 4 years ago on Google
The entire complex is outstanding. Great facilities, friendly staff. It is really busy though but considering it's the best you can get in Ireland, this is not surprising. The only aspect I am not sure about is their swimming lessons (teachers are not that great). Top place anyway.
