Lovely hotel in a good location. Very suitable for a quiet and relaxing holiday. We opted for the half-board stay. The food is suitable for a Mediterranean diet and on the evening buffet there isn't a great deal of choice so if you're expecting a massive variety you'll be surprised. The breakfast however was fine with a variety of English style, cereal and fruit. For the majority, the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough with the exception of one woman who worked Saturday to Tuesday and was completely rude. On the Sunday morning I asked if there were any more glasses for juice and as she pointed at the glasses, she shouted LOOK at the top of her voice, on the Monday evening my husband went to pay for our water and as we were exiting the resteraurant she came over demanding we pay, as she obviously hadn't seen him at the till. Her attitude changed on the Tuesday as there was a different general manager on and she was more pleasant. Our room was at the back which faced some residential apartments which was fine as it was out of the sun and quiet. The air conditioning was great and when we had an issue with safe the reception and maintenance staff were fantastic as were the rest of the waiting on staff. I would recommend the hotel highly but would avoid the one woman.

Very nice Hotel direct at Blanes beach. Friendly staff, large room with balcony and excellent breakfast. English spoken, also several British tourists - so fine conversations! Off season Ivgot a very decent rate for this 4-star Hotel. I would have loved to stay longer, but Hotel was full die to large group reservations.

I was charged for 5 x nights car parking… even though I left the day after check in and only parked for 1 night… I request a €72 refund… but this has been refused/ignored… beware… don’t get ripped off...26th Aug...the Owner added the response below to create the illusion that they would consider my request favourably....in fact I had already contacted the Reception several times by email and by phone...my refund has been refused...so €72 for parking that was not required. Rip off hotel ...be warned. Our family have stayed here each year whilst visiting a family member who lives in Blanes...none of us will stay here again.

We had a lovely week here. The rooms were fantastic and very clean and the cleaning staff were lovely and worked very hard. The aircon worked well and the rooms were very soundproof. The shower was fantastic especially. The views from the balcony were very special, as well as the roof terrace. The breakfast was lovely, a good range of choice and again the staff were very kind. We tried the dinner buffet one night too and that was very good, a good selection of food too. Reception staff were so helpful and accommodating, couldn’t fault them at all. Overall a really fantastic hotel, we would love to come back again.

Room was lovely and clean when we arrived and also air conditioned which was an absolute necessity with the 36°C heat outside. Reception were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and quick despite us arriving to the hotel at around 3am! They were also knowledgeable of the area and provided us with a tourist map marked with bus stops and advised us where to find the bus to take us to the botanical garden up the mountain. Breakfast was pretty good, with the pastries being the highlight, though for hot food the selection was mostly egg based if you don't want meat. We didn't have our evening meal in the hotel so can't comment on that. The location is great, literally across the road from the beach and right down the street from all the shops and restaurants.

The hotel was excellent, reception staff were very friendly and helpful(especially the lady who took it on herself to come outside to take the picture of our sh@t shirt night 😂). Rooms were cleaned daily. The bar and restaurant also very good. The hotel breakfast was buffet style, with great variety. Evening meals in the restaurant were also top notch. The beach is literally across the road. Overall a fantastic experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday and the hotel could not have been in a better location. Directly across from the beach and with restaurants and shops in close walking distance. The spa is extra but I made use of the free gym. Bedrooms were clean and the air con was a lifesaver, staff were all friendly and the breakfast had a great selection. Would definitely stay again

Ask for a room with sea view, you will not regret it unless you are content with a view of the courtyard. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, good enough, fresh fruit and baked bread and a selection of drinks. The staff was very helpful.

A good hotel that advertises as 4 star but it isn’t quite there yet. Really tired both the rooms and corridors. The lift rarely came so we used the stairs always. The restaurant is more modern and we only had breakfast, although the food was good, you get sick of the same food for 12 days, so a variation is needed, at least every 7 days. The family room that we had was large but the bathroom needs a good cleaning as the mould in the shower area is pretty visible. Location is excellent.

The staff is super kind and helpful. Location in front of the beach is great (just cross the street, et voila!), and only 10mins walking from the center - the walk along the beach is pleasant BTW. Rooms are large enough and very clean, all the hotel in general is super clean. Sound insulation is non-existent however, you can hear your neighbors talking (or shouting) in the other rooms. Breakfast is awesome, with lots of choice that will satisfy all cultures. A private car parking can be booked at the reception desk (18€ per day, if space available). Access to swimming pool and spa cost 15€ per person for 2hrs. Overall an excellent stay.

My wife and I were in Blanes for a friend’s wedding and stayed here. We booked a beachfront room that gave us an amazing view of the ocean. The rooms are nice and upgraded. Their included breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices, unlimited coffee, fresh juices, cava, ham, eggs, croissant, etc. I would definitely stay here again if I visit.

This beachfront hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from the clubs as well as having amazing views. The beds were not the comfiest but the ice cold ac made sure we did not feel uncomfortable in the heat. The spa is not free and requires €15 a day which is not ideal considering the hotels only pool is in that spa. Perfect hotel for any couple/group looking for a good location for drinking and sunbathing.

Hello! The advantage of the hotel is the proximity to the beach, I would recommend using beach slippers because the sand is coarse and painful, the location is a bit far from the center, the dinner is too late and a free choice would still be suitable, because when choosing from the menu, the selection was small, while the portion was very large. The selection of drinks in the bar is good. the hotel is clean and quiet!

There is no pool, there is an included gym but even as a guest you still have to pay for the spa (pool, hot tub, sauna). Everything is very worn and the elevator feels like a safety hazard. The door to our room was left open and unlocked after cleaning. Breakfast is okay but nothing special. Only benefit is the showers in the rooms, and location for the beach. Overall, it’s only a 4 star hotel because it checks the boxes for its facilities (although you have to pay separately for them)

We were the only people waiting to check in with a 1 year old child at 3 am. And check in took 30 min. When we asked to do it faster as a child was crying Miquel told that he will call the police as we force him to work faster

Disappointing. I left my new shirt in the hotel room’s closet, called the same day to see if I can recover it and the receptionist said they would call me back but did not. Rooms are old and not well kept, on the upside the breakfast is good.

How on earth is this a 4 star hotel?? really poor value for money, do they not have hotel inspectors in spain as this is NOT 4 stars in any shape or form. good points nice location (as are other hotels..) sea views nice shower bad points room is completely outdated and sterile. lacks amenities (had to go and buy a kettle). the bads are incredibly uncomfortable (rock solid). barely slept all well, thanks for that horitzo. had to try sleeping on the floor half the time. the gym - LITERALLY what is the point of the gym? its tiny, the machines are 30+ years out of date, i just wanted to sit on the exercise bike for 30 mins- nope, not possible as the toggle for the height was missing! unusable gym. the pool - tiny little pool they call a 'spa' to sound fancy- you have to pay a scarcely believable 15 euros to use. the food- PLEASE DONT pay for half board- the food is really, really poor. the evening meal is the same few bland meal choices EVERY night with a very limited starter and tasteless desserts. while the breakfast had more choice it was of very low quality (and i eat out at wetherspoons!). In the end we gave up in the evening and went into town for a kebab. very poor overall. very poor.

a brilliant hotel with only a 5/10 minute walk to town along the sea front, the Horitzo had fantastic staff who were so friendly especially on reception, breakfast was really good and as a vegetarian there was plenty of choice for all including champagne, if you wanted it, i truly could not fault it, i only wish we had booked a sea view perhaps i will the next time i stay there, just perfect

We had noticed the premium location on the beachfront, so we walked in and asked to see a room before booking. Reception declined this. Two ladies in an empty lobby claimed they were too busy for one of them to leave with us for a couple of minutes. After a bit of discussion and praise of the location, they finally agreed to show us a room - a very small one on the second floor. View was nice indeed. We asked for availability of a larger room on the upper floors starting the next day. They said they didn't know and we should inquire again the next day! Well... After reading the 1* reviews now I guess we should consider ourselves happy that things went like this...

Our week’s holiday at this super hotel was everything that we hoped it would be. A great location with really excellent customer service throughout. Our front facing double room with a balcony was excellent, very clean and practical for our stay. The shower was the best that we have had in any hotel. There was a very good choice for breakfast which was well laid out with plenty of room for the many guests. We would recommend this hotel without reservation and hope to return again next year. Thank you for making our weeks stay so enjoyable.
