This pancake tasted great. Just like the delicious chocolate mousse with coffee ... and the coffee itself of course. ;) I'll be back! :)

Friendly and competent service. We were given a separate table for the children's chair. The little one really liked the children's portion. We adults chose the daily menu. Unfortunately the soup was a bit watery, but that's a matter of taste. Drinking it from a cup was better than drinking it from a spoon! The shrimp croquettes were super tasty. The attention to detail was found in the salad. Chopped carrots in a boat from a chicory leaf (see photo) The portion was great! The ice cream at the end with toppings etc. was just right at the end. The coffee afterwards was normal. Not a highlight! But overall the prices were ok and the restaurant is recommended!!! Suggestion for improvement so that less food ends up on the floor. A table attachment for the child seat ;) Less stress for the staff when the place is cleaned afterwards! Suggestion for improving the cutlery. Maybe have some children's cutlery on hand. The normal spoon was too big for the 2 year old ;) Visited in late May 2023

Recommended if you are in Blankenberge. Very tasty food, shrimp croquettes were TOP! Salad with salmon was generous portion, and fresh vegetables. Service was very friendly and good.

Super friendly and helpful. They heated our baby's meal and even checked the temperature after cleaning their food thermometer! We both took a salade or sandwich which both looked and tasted great. And as a plus wasn't expensive at all. If you're looking for a lunch in Blankenberge centre, this is definitely a place to go to!

Super friendly welcome, upon arrival both the terrace and the indoor space were well filled, the waiter immediately spoke to us and asked how many we were and he immediately made room creatively by reorganizing the table, super customer friendly and attentive! The pancakes were delicious too! Highly recommended even on an afternoon after a busy market day! Keep it up 👍

I have visited this tearoom this summer. It’s worth your money and time. If I were you, I would buy the spaghetti or the shrimp croquette. You might sit on the terras in the summer or at the window. It’s a good idea to name it De Zandloper.
