What a beautiful place! We were quite surprised. On a small holding/farm and still in the city. It is located next to a Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre and we were surprised to see a whole bunch of antelope next to the road. The guest house is stunning. Reception was friendly and on time. Lovely people. A small dog came to greet us, Lola, and we immediately fell in love with her. We were 3 adults and we had two rooms, one with a king size bed with an en suite and one with twin beds with an en suite. The big room has a bath/shower (without a curtain, thanks heaven) and the twin room has a shower. It is spacious, clean with everything that you need. We had a hotplate, microwave, dish towels, a kettle, a table in the room to work on and a small table with 4 chairs outside. They are geared for load shedding which is essential in S.A. The appearance was lovely and inviting with a small chocolate on very big, soft towels. The beds were perfect. (Comfortable beds are very important to me, especially after travelling for 10 hours). There is an interlinking door to the other room which has his own TV. Unfortunately there is no Kyknet or WiFi available, but you won't miss it. It is relaxing to sit outside to watch the beautiful Free State sunset. We could even park our vehicle under a carport which is protection from the weather. Unfortunately it is winter time now, but the swimming pool and garden look very inviting. Mandy, you did a great job. Blessings to you with many more wonderful travelers to meet and making friends with. We already told our family and friends about your wonderful place and you will definitely see us again. Very clean and well equipted. Very friendly and accomedating host. Comfortable bed. We had a relaxed afternoon and evening. Enough space for children to run around. It was like a visit on a farm but very close to Woodland Hills shopping centre.

Thank you so much for the hospitality. Truly a safe haven for getting some much needed rest traveling from Tzaneen to Cape Town & back home! Rooms very well equipped and cosy! Loved it! Will see you again soon...

Truly a safe haven. We were on our way back to Potchefstroom from Stilbaai, and decided to stay over and chill. What a pleasant surprise. Absolutely everything you need in one extremely comfortable very tiny room. These folks have used the space unbelievably and impressively well. Will definitely make Safe Haven our stop-over with future travels. Cosy and comfortable! You won't be sorry!

Very warm welcome. Lovely surrounds. Comfortable and neat accommodation. Family atmosphere so not advisable for those seeking solitude. Would definitely come again as a stop over stay between Durban and Capetown

The perfect spot for an overnight en route to JHB. Perfect for families, well located near a variety of malls and nice restaurants. Friendly, accommodating hosts, spacious rooms, comfy beds, clean bathroom, Visited in winter so incredibly dry, no green lawn, but a lovely landscape of succulents. Highly recommended.

Be prepared for loadshedding. No breakfast or wifi as advertised. The place is really beautiful. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Just a note when it is windy dust settles from the thatch room on the surfaces. Mosquitos were really hungry there.
