This was by far the best guest house that we have ever stayed. There really was no lack whatsoever and our expectations were exceeded by far. The attention to detail is absolutely impeccable! Perfect for families too. This place is an excellent balance between modern and cosy. I would recommend Gabbys Cottage Guesthouse to anyone. Cannot wait for our next stay with them!

The rooms were superb and designed with comfort in mind, catering to everything you need/want, plus there is a stunning communal garden! Hosts Kevin and Pedro are such lovely people who were extremely friendly, and accommodated to every need. Would highly recommend this gem located in a central but quiet area within Bloemfontein!

Excellent accommodation. Pedro and her husband went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spotless and comfortable and the beautiful garden made for such a peaceful and tranquil setting. Definitely a guesthouse that I would return to in future and recommend to my friends and family if they ever need to stay over in Bloemfontein.

Kevin & Pedro are the most friendly and professional host we every met. We felt like part of the family while we stayed there over the Christmas week and enjoyed their attention to detail to light the candles every night. We stayed in Cottage 1 and what a beautiful unit that is spotless, with fully functional kitchen net and bathroom. Safe parking is also available. Gabby’s is minutes away from Northridge mall and the N1. The ground and gardens are well maintained, clean and beautiful as advertised.

What a wonderful place to stay, we are so pleased we chose to stay here! We travelled with our 2 children and Mother in Law and stayed in two joining units which was perfect! A fabulous garden with lots of seating areas and a pool to keep my son happy! Such great and attentive hosts that we will remember our visit fondly! A really special place to stay, we highly recommend it!

After a holiday of 5 and 4 star hotels, Gabby’s cottage has outdone them all! There isn’t a single need that isn’t catered for. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and while Gabby’s cottage felt like an experience, it also felt like home 🤍
