Arrived late at night in September as n walk- in. The sisters lodge was fully booked and had to stay at Footprints. Have to say both places are soooo nice. Love the 100%cotton. Thank you to the great staff. We love you MAMSIE!!!!

I don't know much about this place, but all I know is the rooms are too small to be sharing rooms

Nice location and welcoming service. However the rooms have no window, bulbs are missing, tiles are broken and the bathroom sink was clogged. The pool looked nice, but the remote control for the gate had both buttons worn down to the point of being non functional. Too much money for too little value.

Stayed one night on our way back from Lesotho. Excellent service. Left passports behind, they called and informed us and arranged courier service. Our room was very clean and neat, loved the big open showers. Keep up the good work, you guys are the best

Perfect for a weekend stay. The staff is friendly always willing to assist or to help with something. Our room was spacious and clean, with free WiFi. We like the fact that parking is closed and off street, it just gives a person that extra piece of mind during the night

I booked into a double room. I could literally touch the bed while sitting on the loo. Poorly lit wash basin so forget shaving/make-up. Also only allocate 2 eggs per guest for breakfast... I understand that for planning but when I asked for a scramble they limited me 2 eggs! Bloem is going backwards and I suspect this place is just a reflection of what 4 star accommodation looks like in Bloem.

I loved it but you better pack your own bathing soap and lotion. Make sure that your cosmetic bag have everything you need

AFRICAN LODGE - DISHONESTY IS THEIR POLICY. My family and I stayed at the Lodge on the 6th of June, one of the coldest night in the history of South Africa, or so we have been told. Unfortunately this lodge cannot cater for cold weather as the dinning area and corridors where below zero degrees and we where expected to take our breakfast without even an attempt to heat the room with a heater. No doubt we wore pyjamas during the night, to sleep in, and in an attempt to get dressed in the morning without catching our death we dressed under the bedding. My beautiful and exclusive pyjama got left behind. I contacted them promptly the next evening and ask for the pyjama to be sent to me. A very rude, abrupt and unfriendly person refused telling me to send a courier to collect. I tried, and found that this would cost me an arm and a leg. I therefore contacted them again the next day asking for them to please post it and send me banking details for me to reimburse the expense. I was assured that this would be done. Two weeks later I contacted them again and was told that they had sent a parcel at no charge and would let me have the tracking number via email. Not having received the parcel after another fortnight, I tried contacting them again, and left a message on the answering machine. Almost two month later and daily trips to the post office in the hope of receiving my precious pyjama have brought me to realise that I have been made a fool. of. Hope that no one else have the same dishonest experience.

We used The new Tau Hall which can take 250 people in Oct. I loved the designer trusses painted in white with the beautifully painted gray roof and walls. We ordered white tables and clear tiffany chairs for our yearend function. The decor was absolutely devine. Thank you for making our event a day to remember.

I've seen several guest houses and this one is on my bottom list. Upon arrival the room bedding was found with stains, no private toilet as the toilet can be seen through the shower door (not a best experience between a couple) Shower also in front of bed. Previous night stayed at another guest house, less in price and included a full english breakfast with a full bar fridge and wonderfull views with very friendly and helpfull staff. Sorry but African Lodge Guest house in Bloemfontein is a 2 out 5 AND THE PHOTOS IS NOT LIKE THE LODGE
