I came here thinking I'll regret it but had the most amazing experience. The place is pretty high up the hill. However, with a bit of security, this could be Bloemfontein's greatest hiking area

Incredible experience, the garden is so well kept, the natural beauty and space is breathtaking. Families were having picnics enjoying the calmness of the environment. We had a snake encounter going up the rocky steps on the far end of the garden going up to the hill so dress appropriately and take refreshment if you want to take that on. I can only imagine the view from the top. Lovely day out for the whole family. We spent about 3 hours there and will go back.

Best place for a weekend trip out and about! Stunning clean area to have a hike and relax under the trees while listening to the birds and watching the meerkats roam about! Stunning gardens with a wonderfully serene atmosphere! And an amazing Restaurant Zizi to have lunch too! Especially when they have their fabulous buffets on Sundays! Wow! An experience to make every weekend special! Thank you to everyone involved in making it so wonderful!

A must visit, go for a hike in the hills, discover interesting plants, then enjoy a picnic on the lawns

Great for family days out, especially over weekends. Keep an eye out for local market days being held, and try a lovely Sonday lunch buffet!

If you like plants and quite, then you have found yourself a place. I went there just to relive some of my happiest memories.
