It's really a budget hotel it's located next to a landfill so it smells a bit outside but not to bad inside. The rooms look like they are trying to improve its look. Bathrooms need help. Cleaning could use help. Our remote for the TV didn't work so we were going to turn it on manually but the buttons were sticky. Like I said good if you need to keep it cheap.

I booked here because I just needed to spend one night and even though it was only rated one star it was very cheap. Upon arrival check in was quick, easy and friendly, and the room was clean and tastefully decorated. The outside appears pretty rundown but it was a nice place to stay for the night. Plus they serve breakfast. Will definitely consider staying again if I ever drive through Madison again in the future.

Room was clean, Breakfast was one of the best. TV reception was very limited. There was a 1" gap at the bottom of the door, so everything that went on in the hallway was magnified in my room. I wouldn't stay here again because of the location and noise.

Look, the building is kind of an old POS that they threw a new coat of paint and some laminate on. There are a few hints of this all over the building. An old sign here, a broken tile floor there. It also happens to be located in a weird, isolated, dumpy part of town. However, they're doing everything in their power to make you forget about that. They've got one of the most innovative breakfast areas I've ever seen, including a flat top grill and make-your-own-omlette station. Their beds are new and comfortable. Their pool is outdoor, yet warm. And the front desk lady was lax with certain rules, including pool close time and breakfast close time, that helped make it more worth it. Factor in the price, which was $30 less than everywhere else in Madison, and I can't help but feel like this was a pretty good value. Maybe not "America's Best" value, but definitely worth the price we paid. If you can ignore the occasional dingey spot and you're safe about your vehicle, you'll probably enjoy it too.

This place needs to be closed The bathroom is old, little short toilet. The people walk all night that are staying overnight. They have keys to unlock the room door. That's how old it is. Old telephone in the rooms. Don't stay there!

Rooms were clean and the breakfast is fit for a king ..... I can do without the crazy amount of spiders. Being by a forest area it's going to happen but they really need to do something about it. I do however continue to stay

This hotel claims to be in the process of rebranding to a different name. The signage on the building everywhere all shows it as an americas best Value inn. However they are pretending to now call it Valued Stay Madison despite no signs anywhere on the building interior or exterior that show that name. While it may be in transition it’s currently in a state of abomination. The location is very difficult to get to, especially at night. The road to get in to it is not lit and the surface of the road is moon craters. It’s very easy to miss the turn in because it just looks like an abandoned areas. If you get in the right road it’s a long winding path to get to the hotel. You can see it from the main road but there is no way to turn to it. You have to go about a half mile past it and find the right road which isn’t labeled and has no lights. City is doing some work on the road leading to the hotel so it’s totally gravelly and u paved half the way in. But the pavement around the hotel is in complete shambles. I didn’t take enough pictures to show the true dishelvement. They claim that no managers come on site. The woman at the desk who works overnight has a hard job, and can’t answer for any of the many issues with the property. she did however do a great job putting together the breakfast bar on time. She was unable to help us with our main issue though. We got to the room about midnight. Husband went for a late night run and we decided we needed to turn on the air in room 222. The AC unit did not work!! Then she moved us to 224, the air units don’t work there either. She finally came to check out the units and confirmed they don’t work. But she doesn’t know why they aren’t in working order. It is June 16th!! It gets hot!! Finally she moved us to room 110 with a working AC unit but it was 2 am and we had to move all our stuff down the stairs and down the hallway. Very inconvenient annoyance! I cannot believe she couldn’t refund our room and no manager or owner has called us back to acknowledge the problems and attempt to make amends. Cannot strongly enough encourage not using this hotel. It’s honestly a dump. See my pictures. Again it’s mid June and the entire pool area is a disaster zone which they claim to be working on. Yet their pictures on their new google listing show a functional pool. Place is a mess. The only good thing i can say is the breakfast buffet was good. You can make your own omelette. Pancakes waffles. The sausage were good. Biscuits and gravy good. Juice bagels tea coffee etc. But i don’t go to a hotel just for breakfast. I want a clean location a functional room and a staff structure that can deal with problems. Bad bad bad experience!!

There are several inexpensive, safe, clean places for people that need to stay somewhere frequently during a transition or whatever the reason is. I’m one of those people at this time. I’ve been staying somewhere for about 5-15 dollars cheaper. I kept seeing this place on Expedia and decided to take a chance. The rooms are pretty big. A big glass table with chairs like the Union! A good size fridge and microwave. 2 side tables, alarm clocks and adequate outlets. The bathroom is ok, could use a facelift. Soaps, washcloths and towels at the sink. There is a place to hang up clothes as well as iron them. There a few things you should know before your STAY! 1. They only offer Shampoo for hair toiletries. They give you 2 packets at the sink, so I’ve assumed one was shampoo and one was conditioner. Nope. They both say Conditioning Shampoo on it. I asked the cleaning person this am and she confirmed that they only have shampoo. 2. There is no bath! I’m a bath person, but I had to deal with it. 3. The TV is pretty much toast. Not so much the TV, but the signal. The first night I just left it off which killed me 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. The second night I asked at the front desk. She looked at me like I was asking a foreign question and says, Well there’s PLUTO!!!! I said that Is all that works, she’s says yes. But upon further inspection you can get Netflix and Prime Video if you have an acct! There is also You Tube and Vudú. 4. The pool is out of order. 5. DONT MISS THIS FREE BREAKFAST that runs from 7–>0930! They have a Waffle maker, pancake maker and Omlet maker!! Yes. All pretty simple to run. They have hot biscuits and gravy as well. The regular items as well, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, drinks and lots of fruit. Despite this place being by a dump on a gravel road, it is nicely hidden and quiet. UPDATE—the longer I stayed, the more shady people I noticed. The room I was switched too could use a facelift for sure. Some of the rooms only have local TV. I have downgraded my stars. I do like the staff and they have been really helpful and pleasant to deal with. If I would of came here late at night, I think I wouldn’t of been so generous with the stars

I gave America's Best Value Inn a 5-star rating. I have stayed here on numerous occasions when I was feeling unsafe, and I always found it to be a safe, secure, comfortable, and clean place to seek respite. The staff is always courteous and helpful, and they were always willing to answer my questions and help me understand the rules and deposit conditions of my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe and affordable place to stay

Mattress was terrible. Room smelled of smoke. Breakfast room was hot and noisy making it very unpleasant.

If I can describe this motel in one word? "Loud". Right off the interstate so traffic noise is considerable. But the worst part is the walls are very thin. I could very easily hear people on the room above me and most especially out in the hallway. It was bad enough that my sleep was almost non-existent. Beyond that, the mattress was uncomfortable, there was a leak from the door jamb, and the towels were very rough and not good on the skin. The only thing that saved this review from being one-star was the surprisingly excellent breakfast bar.

Breakfast is a great spread. Employees were all very polite. Had to switch rooms twice though. 1st room heart didn't work, 2nd had not been cleaned. 3rd room was clean and warm. So was frustrating and didn't even get any kind of break on price or anything because of the room problems.

As soon as I enter to the building, I detected a strong smell of weed. My room smeels old and really bad, also I found at least 4 black insects (1inch long) in my room as well as ants and spiders. So, if you are able to get another location, then think about it.

I don't even know where to start. This place could use a face-lift. Maybe some potted plants to brighten the front of the building. It's a very basic 2 story building with outdated amenities the very pillows are uncomfortable they look more like cushions and are hard. Yep, a face-lift would definitely be nice.

Shady place. Overpriced. I stayed here as a last resort due to coming from the airport on a stormy night. I got there late at almost midnight payed full price for a king room. Then I got switched to a queen and paid 20 extra dollars because I had 2 small kids with me. They had me pay full price at almost midnight, plus got charged taxes twice. The lady who barely spoke English charged me taxes even though the 20 extra dollars were computed by hand. So your welcome for my extra money. The room was disgusting and the surrounding areas and hallway were full of shady people. Never staying here again. Overpriced

Forgot my gold necklace on the table and my husband called and came back right away, but no necklace to be found. Definitely wouldn't recommend a not trustworthy place.

Really bad location. Looks like a dump outside. Rooms never renovated. Had doubt if shower was clean. Really cheap price for a reason. Clean beds.

I really don't recommend this place. Young man at the front desk was rude and inconsiderate when checking in. My room had a weird older in it and there was no hot water to take a shower. Was told one rate over the phone but then when it came time to check in they charged me more
