Pershing Field Park is a very nice park in a quiet piece of the big city. The green spaces are well maintained and expansive. Basketball and tennis courts in very good shape. Parking is challenging sometimes.

Such a great place to bring kids. I am always impressed at how clean this park is no matter what time of day you go to it. There are spaces available for people of all ages to play. We continually find ourselves going back to this park.

This is a community park that also houses Johansen-Pederson Stadium, home of the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers. The park features basketball courts along with a summertime heel cooler and tennis courts that all are well maintained. Southwest High School is, what appears to be, the wealthiest of the major Minneapolis public high schools. Having a facility like this inside this relaxing and easy to access park by the 46/146 46th Street Crosstown bus only strengthens and validates this favourable review. Bus service using the 6 Penn/Xerxes to/from Downtown Minneapolis is 3 blocks East of this park. The 46/146 Crosstown is 2 blocks South at 50th & Zenith.

Lovely park. Tennis courts could use some maintenance. Maybe add some dedicated Pickleball courts?

Good park for soccer. Grass is a bit too long and not very well maintained at certain spots

I walk past this park when I take the bus to work. Sometimes I walk through. There are sports facilities, but I don't use them so I can't evaluate them. There is a community center, but I haven't been inside it.

Pershing Park, like many of the Mpls athletic fields, is in a dismal condition as the Park & Rec Dept does not spend their money wisely and more specifically does not work with private groups to make up the difference in care. Unlike communities that surround Mpls.

I like that it has 2 different playgrounds. One for younger kids and the other for elementary age kids. My little ones love this park. Oh and it also has a rec center, my boys like it in there. Im not sure as i never went in lol. But I'll go by there word until i see it myself!

I haven't lived in the city for 40 years, but have children we brought to Minneapolis parks to play soccer- including the he field at Pershing. Had my granddaughter there as they live close. She loves it there.

Park with a few shady spots, wading pool and playground but it is primarily an athletic facility with two lit baseball fields, a large multiuse field and an adjacent high school football stadium.

👍👍 Had a great experience at this stadium watching Rammstein. Security was efficient and friendly. Had some fried cheese curds that were the best I have ever had. Prices for concessions suck though. The concert it's self sounded great. However the music playing before the show could barely be heard....
