We stopped by to have dinner because the reviews were so good, but what we experienced far surpassed our expectations. The restaurant was closed due to the down season as they all are, but we didn't know that and we drove over for dinner. The owner, Lowell, was about to have dinner with his family, but when we walked up, he told us to have a seat, shared his dinner and his wine, and we spent the next three hours becoming friends. That is how they do it in the islands.

Hyped as the "must go" restaurant on the island it quickly became a bust for our group. The mussels were overcooked although the sauce was passable with the bread to get some flavor out of the dish, the signature dishes were bland and uninspiring. The red snapper was delivered with vegetables that were prepared well but the rice was dull and hard to swallow and the actual fish needed lots of lemon to make it worthwhile. The shrimp dish of 6 was enjoyed but again lacked in the support offering. Sometimes restaurants get the noise that they are "it" and folks don't realize what excellent other offerings are available. Sitting next to a busy evening traffic road is not our groups idea of ideal location, when you can dine in many locations on the beach of better food quality. It was a nice surprise not the have the 15% service charge on the bill - a first for us on the island. It was nice to meet the very pleasant owner but we did not have the heart to tell him in person that his restaurant fails in our minds against other offerings on the island. Time to change the chef to keep the hype running of being a must go location.

Honestly quite average, food was small in quantity. Got the snapper after having the rave reviews, overpriced for what you get (which we recognise in hindsight from other places). Also got the shrimp main and it was also just okay. Wait time was large for food but not too horrible. Waitresses were very nice and attentive though!! Personally a miss for my family despite all the rave reviews.

I recently dined at Sharky's, drawn in by the numerous raving reviews. However, my overall experience left me a bit disappointed. On the positive side, the service was commendable, as the staff was attentive and accommodating, even staying open late for us. Unfortunately, parking was an inconvenience, with the lot across the road being full and an unhelpful parking attendant adding to the frustration. As for the cocktails, they were enjoyable, providing a decent selection of well-prepared drinks. The flavors were satisfying and added some positive notes to the dining experience.

Very tasty food , a must restaurant in Anguilla to visit, we had 1 appetizer and 2 entrées and sparkling water total 118$ plus tip. Not a cheap place but those are the prices in Anguilla. Definitely recommended, suggest to make a reservation as we are arrived around 8:30pm Friday and place was almost full. ( we had reservations done in advance).

We went to Sharky's this week on a Monday. Noy a busy evening. We did not have reservations. We waited while we were told whether we could get a table or not. almost no one there so not sure what the fuss was about. While we are dinner, three more parties without reservations who were seated right away. Facing the front reception desk in the kitchen all throughout our dinner, there were at least a dozen people working in the kitchen and standing around by the front reception area. Not sure what most were doing. None smiling or looking friendly. We ordered our appetizer which came long before our drink. A gentleman came to the table and asked how things were going and I said we hadn't gotten our drinks. He got them immediately as it turned out he was the owner. When we did get out food my fish was overcooked. Drinks were not very good. We stayed for a couple of drinks and dinner. The owner checked on a several times while the employees did little. So I was very disappointed after I'd heard a recommendation from someone who lives on the island to go to Sharky's. Service was not good as I had expected. So I don't recommend this restaurant.

Sharkys is a must do! The owner Lowell came out to ever table while we were there having dinner tonight. He made us and everyone feel like the place was ares. We had the chicken curry as an app. It was unbelievable. My wife had the pork tenderloin and I had the Lobster and shrimp risotto. Both dishes were 10+. Gina was our waitress. Best waitress in a long time a real sweetheart. Like I said a must do! Murdoch Macpherson

Our family of five had a great dinner at Sharky’s during Christmas week. The food was varied and delicious. The service warm and friendly. Our food server, Gina, was an energetic blast of friendliness and hospitality. Highly recommend.

We always try to eat local when on vacation and Sharkies came highly recommended. The food was amazing and they had a fantastic musician there that night. We loved the mussels (they were the best we had on this trip), the snapper and the lobster risotto.

Words simply do no justice to the delicious goodness that is served at Sharky’s. When we asked residents we interacted with for recommendations on the one restaurant that they would dine at weekly or daily if they could, sharky’s was the number choice. One bite of the highly recommended lobster risotto and cake and it was clear why this business was such a gem. The service was so smooth and efficient; the staff informative abs kind. There is a sense of pride in what they do and rightfully so. The chef makes rounds greeting each patron and getting feedback on dish. This entire dining experience was a treat for us. If we are to pick one restaurant to prioritize on another trip to Anguilla, we are choosing Sharky’s.

What’s nice little local spot. You’re literally eating in the chef’s home with his family helping with service. They truly know hospitality here, and are so friendly and happy to share their place with u. I recommend the carpaccio and the lobster stir fry. Don’t let it intimidate you. If lobster isn’t ur thing, the grilled shrimp is amazing in the creole curry sauce. Solid wines here too!

Visiting the island and having a hard time finding the amazing dining that Anguilla is known for what was able to get to Sharkeys on the last night before they closed for the season and the food was amazing! Had the snapper and the tuna plus a serenade from the live musician and greeting from the owner himself and highly recommend this location to anyone visiting. Far better than any overpriced hotel food.

LIVE Music on a Sunday night and it was SUCH a great vibe!! The food for MOUTH WATERING -- had the lobster cake for an app-- yum and the spicy lobster risotto for a main and wow just to die for. The grilled lobster also delish and FYI if you request it they will take it out of the shell.

The food was exceptional, My family and I had a lobster stir fry, steak stir fry, and the mango snapper. There was also a singer that we could request a song to which was really cool. Again like most of Anguilla, the food was a little overpriced.

Our favorite meal on the island yet! We made a reservation a few weeks prior to visiting. Absolutely phenomenal lobster and risotto dishes. Topped it off with chocolate mousse. Blown away with how genuine and kind the servers were. Loved our meal and can’t wait to come back!
