What a hidden gem. Went heat for the first time after driving by it for almost 10 years. I have been missing some of the best, if not, the best bagels in town. There bagels were fresh and their cream cheese options were fantastic. I ordered a Smoked Salmon and cream cheese Everything bagel and it was outstanding. The salmon is already mixed with the home made cream cheese and it was delicious. Definitely making this a place to stop by regularly. Strawberry cream cheese and peanut butter and chocolate chip cream cheese were also great!

🥯 As I sat there enjoying my fresh bagel from Marx Bagels, I couldn't help but wonder - what is happening to me?! Will I ever love the food in my hometown again? Maybe not. As a self-proclaimed bagel (and coffee) pro, I can confidently say that Marx Bagels in Cincinnati is a top-notch bagel shop that should not be missed by any locals or travelers. They offer all of the classic varieties - plain, sesame, poppy seed - that any bagel aficionado would expect, but they also have unique options that I've never seen back home. The bagels themselves are simply delicious. They are chewy and dense, with just the right amount of crust on the outside. They are also large! And they give you a ton of shmear as well! I mean a massive amount. If that is not your thing, I am sure they will tone it down for you. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Marx Bagels if you're in Cincinnati. As a bagel (and coffee) pro, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.

Solid menu and great bagels. The Tuna salad was very good. Overall a good experience with friendly staff and a clean shop. Edit: I've found myself back a few times in the past month and it is consistently excellent. After experiencing more of the menu and the consistent experiences, I have bump from a 4 to a 5 star experience. Side note, my son LOVES onion and when he asks for heavy onion he gets exactly what he is looking for on his bagel.

Under new ownership and major remodel. The place looks great and egg salad on poppy seed bagel is still worth the visit to Blue Ash. The staff is excellent. Good job!

This place is very nice ! Is authentic kosher food, fresh bagels, home made cream cheese, hummus and everything. My husband order a onion bagel with tuna, was delicious! My daughter got a combo with hummus , lettuce and tomato and she love it 🥰 , I got a orange - cam berry bagel with plain cream cheese and a coffee, but the bagel was a little hard for me , the cream cheese was very yummy. The ambiance is very nice, clean and the staff was very nice. You also can buy the bagels to go and the tub of cream cheese 🥯 . Have parking on front.

My husband and I LOVE this place! It’s so fun to experiment with all the different types of bagels and all the different cream cheeses and spreads. I’m Jewish and, especially in a time of so much antisemitism, it’s so nice to see my community thrive like this. Now that I’ve found Marx, I’m committed to becoming a regular! So far some of my favorite orders have been a hummus sandwich on a half and half bagel with all the fixings, blueberry cream cheese on a strawberry bagel, strawberry cream cheese on a blueberry bagel, and strawberry cream cheese on a chocolate chip bagel! But we’re still working our way through the entire menu and all the combinations!

The Tuna Melt is awesome!! Very nice staff and very nice restaurant. Large space and very nice lighting. Spotless. Their attention to cleanliness is spot on!!

Stopped here during lunch break. They were in the middle of lunch rush but service was still fast. From the time I walked in the door to the time I got my food was about 10 minutes. I got the tuna melt on an everything bagel (I think it's called a combo bagel on the menu). They have a large selection of bagels obviously, but additional menu items include salad, soups, and sides. Menu is completely kosher, safe for vegetarians, and no need to worry about cross contamination

I really enjoy their fruit bagels and cream cheese. Blueberry with blueberry. Strawberry with strawberry. There are other kosher menu options I need to try - soups and sandwiches etc.

This is a great bagel shop. All employees were very nice and helpful. The food was awesome as well.

What a great place! The bagels and the cream cheese were delicious! We ended up coming back the next day to eat here again! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. I can’t wait to visit next time I am in town.

I had very high hopes for this place. I drove for 50 minutes to eat here. My bagel was stale, cold and the presentation was subpar!

I grew up around the corner from the original Marx Hot Bagels, and sadly it's no longer what it once was. Gone are the kitschy and amusing signs that said, among other things, that unsupervised children would be sold. It leaves the place with a very sterile and uninviting feel like a corporate chain, rather than the well-loved family bakery it once was. The garlic bagel I had was also a bit smaller than they used to be, and the inside was dense and bready rather than soft and fluffy. The outside still had the proper chew to it. The sign says Marx. The menu is still the same. But the heart is simply not there anymore.

Amazing bagels! Worth the drive. By far one of the best blueberry bagels I’ve had, & my husband was impressed with all the different flavors. We will definitely will be back!
