Called to confirm my sons appointment. They couldn’t find him using his name so they used my phone number and confirmed his appointment time. I showed up on time and still waited over 2 hours with little to no update on what was going on. The lady up front tried telling me his appointment was later but never said a time and once I told her I confirmed this morning she just said she wasn’t sure what was going on. I will definitely be looking for a new dentist office. I would not recommend

I would Not recommend this office anymore. At first they would take a little long on their waiting time but it was bearable. As of October of 2022 the wait in the waiting room was over an hour, they called you in only to wait two more hours in the room. Receive more service and feeling rushed out of the place as if you were wrong for being there. That really makes you feel uncomfortable. The dentist that was supposed to attend to us, stepped out to help another having a hard time pulling a child's tooth. She left us there to wait, after like 45 minutes she finished with the other child and didn't come back to us. She just went to another room. I had to ask one of the girls because they were sweeping and mopping around us. Then the dentist comes back after like 30 minutes. She thought she was done. it was so upsetting but I tried my best to get our cleaning done. My son had a space maintainer put in, which fell out like two weeks after I scheduled an appointment to get it replaced. They called to verify on two separate occasions for the appointment. They canceled one. On the second they called to verify everything said we were set for our appointment. On the day of the appointment I came out of work early, had to take my son from school again, we are on our way literally like 10 minutes away from the appointment that had been verified that it had to be reschedule. That I had been scheduled wrong, that they don't do space maintainers. I said ma'am this appointment was a;ready verified it was scheduled earlier with a different dentist to avoid the 3 hour wait. I was like I came out of work early as well as my son from school. How is it possible you are calling me as I basically pulled into the parking lot. The receptionist went on to tell me they don't do space maintainers, I was like the space maintainer was put in place by your office, what do you mean? She said sorry and would try to reschedule us. When she asked what were we going to have done, I was so irritated we were just talking you were telling me this and that and that and now she didn't know what we were coming in for. At that point I felt like we really didn't matter and it was pointless to try and reschedule. I said thank you to the receptionist but that I no longer wanted to reschedule and wasn't planning on coming back. The receptionist just hung up. Way to make a client feel disrespected and disregarded. Lost four clients that day.

ZERO STARS. MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 12 , LEFT WORK EARLY JUST TO BE HERE ON TIME , ITS GOING ON 2 o CLOCK AND I HAVENT BEEN SEEN YET . BUT EVERYBODY THAT CAME IN AFTER ME HAS SEEN THE DENTIST ALREADY .. ON TOP OF THAT THE RECEPTIONIST KEEPS SAYING ITS ONE PERSON AHEAD OF . Make no sense , WHATS THE POINT OF A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT IF ITS NOT GOING TO START ON TIME ??

My Grandson appointment was at 3:30pm. We arrived about 3:10pm. Staff and Doctors were very, very polite. Place was packed. Looked like most people had to fill out paperwork. Which could have been given to us online in advance. We weren't called until about 4:15pm. Just too long of a wait, since appointment was at 3:30p.m. I feel that they need a better system.

I went because my molar’s filing fell off and food started to get inside and started to bother me, I was/sum till am in so much pain, asked for an appointment and they said dentist would see me the next day… got there early, got about 10 X-rays taken because a person was getting trained, ok I understood, dentist came in, after an hour and a half of me sitting inside the cubicle, told her my problem and proceeded to clean my teeth, I was ok with that too, but in the application I filled I specially noted that I had sensitivity to cold water, and after cleaning my teeth dentist proceeded to pour very cold water twice on the molar I was having pain. I groaned in pain and she said “ you molar is very sensitive” (no way I don’t notice right?) and proceeded to pour more cold water and I started crying. I thought she would try to work on my molar but said to make an appointment for a next time.. so I wasted almost 2 hours for a cleaning and my problem didn’t get even solved. I was in disbelief , went to get an appointment and the front desk said I had to wait 49 days to get treatment, Can you believe that, can anyone wait a month and a half in pain? Mind that since I’m a low income person I have government insurance.. I’m trying to hold out as much as I can, but the headaches are getting stronger everyday, I’m having intense migraines and I know is because my damn molar… I could give you -10 stars I would. Horrible attention, I will not go back there, I’m just waiting to pass a bit more time so the insurance can pay for my treatment cause after the pandemic I’m struggling financially and can’t pay for dental treatment …

One of my biggest fears is the dentist but let me tell you from the moment I was called back Dr. Sumin Kim was amazing. She was thorough and explained every step and so gentle. Her assistant Deanna was amazing as well (singing to good tunes as well) I will return I will refer and recommend this place. Well worth 2.5 drive for sure. Thank you both for easing all my fears.

The dentist was great, kind, thorough. I would give her 5 stars. Like many other reviewers have noted, Dr. K is AMAZING. Avoid Dr. No if you can, he is competent but he has terrible bedside manner. Dental Dreams as a practice deserves 2 stars.. The food is that they accept a wide variety of dental insurance, including Medicaid and have multiple locations. They office is very clean. However, EVERY visit here is a half day affair, expect to wait 1 - 2 hours before your visit starts. Dental Dreams doesnt keep to appointment times. And they constantly lie about being behind, they're not behind they purposely over schedule. Also, they experience HIGH staff turnover. You will not have a consistent dentist here. The doctors never stay more than six months, they're often fresh out of school and work here to gain experience and move on quickly.

To start this post, I HATE leaving a negative review, I review for good service, and if my experience WAS negative, I move on like a grown adult. However, I have been to this location twice. The first time I was there, the waiting room made me just want to walk out. On to my exam, the office was professional. The dental hygienist were wonderful. The dentist, however, made me ) like I was an inconvenience. Little to no explanation of my issue or diagnosis. I felt like she was annoyed that I was wasting her time. Also, this is the only dentist I’ve been to that did not take my well being in hand. I understand that going to the dentist means pain and anxiety for many people. I have NEVER experienced this until my last 2 appointments. I was scared to go back, but I had no choice due to my insurance. Find somewhere else

Not a really unpleasant visit. ALWAYS full of anxiety when coming to dentist. Dentist didn't introduce himself, confirmed services then shot me to numb me, then tech left with me with mouth piece to catch saliva. Music was loud, not a relaxing atmosphere at all. I'm like really... they both came back started, finished and walked away. Just a quick cold visit, no dos or don't, or instructions. I dont know maybe I expect too much.

I only been here three time and that’s because my current dentist of 17 years moved here. Every time I’ve been here I waited at least 1hr and a half and I’ve had an appointment every time. Today, I’m going on three hours being here. Everyone is super nice but this will be the last time coming here. It’s super frustrating also seeing staff leaving such as director, assistants and doctors when there are still patients. There is no reason people should have to wait this long ESPECIALLY when people with later appointment times or later walk ins are going before you. I will never come back which is unfortunate since my dentist since childhood is here.

I am a new patient that arrived at my schedule appointment 1 PM March 22 in fact I arrive 15 minutes early I was not seen until a little past 3 PM which was totally unacceptable you should inform patients there might be a two hour or more wait. My doctor Whole waited on me was excellent friendly professional the only thing about this is I won’t be able to get a filling done until April 27 more than a month away

1 star is a little too generous for this place..... If you can afford to go to a better dental establishment please do. The wait time alone in this place is insane, as a lot of people have stated (I waited 1 1/2 - 2 hours each time I was there and I probably would have waited longer if hadn't rescheduled and left). I finally get to the back and the dental assistant was amazing, she was kind and caring and careful but the DENTIST HERSELF had a slight attitude. She seemed very annoyed at the fact that she had to do her job and acted as if she had way better things to do AND she was a tad bit aggressive. She didn't even clean my teeth right, I had to go somewhere else just to get my teeth cleaned properly. After a few weeks I find out that they were trying to charge my insurance for a procedure that I didn't even need and that didn't sit right with me at all. I know everyone's experience at this place is different but mines was terrible and I'll never visit this place or any of its other locations again.

I understand taking your time with patients. But why schedule 3 patients for the same time with the same dentist? Appointment and all I still waited 3 hours only to be told I had to come back to get my cavity filled due to timing!! Others came in AFTER ME and were well on their way. Simple cleaning and ONE cavity filled. Dentist keeps bopping room to room. Didn't wash hands. This is deplorable! Horrible regard for people's time.

Dr Kapor is everything. Punctual, quick, and thorough. Today she did 2 crowns for me. Last week she filled a cavity for my 3 year old…..she was so patient with her. She made my baby girl love the dentist and want to go back. The play room made it even more Inviting for her. The staff is also nice 😊

Second time at the Blue Island location. Both times kids running full speed through the lobby area, staff ignores it. My 2 daughters and I scheduled cleaning’s together, the assistant anxiously rushed all three of us through the preparation part. Literally sprinting through the room we were in. She wasn’t personable at all. The dentist at least spoke at the beginning, and said have a good day at the end, but he rushed through all of our cleanings as well. I’ve had cleanings at other places, and my teeth felt amazing, leaving there after the service felt no different than when I arrived. Both my daughter said the same thing about their service. I only returned for a second visit, thinking it was the staff that I had, now I believe that they just are not thorough and want to get you in an out without giving a satisfactory result. I only gave one star because I had to give at least, and they were not rude, but I will not return.

I am probably considered the worst dental patient due to fear. At Dental Dreams-Blue Island, I have found the best dentist. Dr. K. is a God send. She is very understanding and works with me to get the work done that I so need. She put my medical concerns first before getting my treatment done first. I have 4 more scheduled extractions and I'm actually not afraid to get it done. Thank you Dental Dreams and Dr. K..

My experience. I went to Dental Experts on 9/30/22 as a walk in with crucial pain on my rear right molar, they were not accepting walk-in that day and told me to call to see if they are accepting walk-in or to set up an appointment. So I called on Monday and no walk-in but, set appointment for Tuesday 10/04/22 at 12:30. So I get there at noon so I can give the doctor my paper information. I waited 21/2 hours with my tooth ache until I was called ( I did let the receptionist know 20 minutes earlier when am I Up next, she said one Patient ahead of me). Once called they sat me down and asked me questions. I told them I wanted my rear tooth removed. She informed me they will take X-rays for the dentist to see and then give me a referral to see another dentist office to have the tooth remove. I told her when I called that was what I wanted to do, have my tooth remove because of the pain and the person on the phone said the dentist had to see me first ( I didn’t get a straight answer). So when I found out they couldn’t remove my bad tooth that day, I refused any X-ray and treatment. They did explain their procedures, they were also kind and understanding, (I just wished I was told this over the phone). So I got up and left and went to the dentist office across the street from were I live, explain my situation regarding my aching tooth so the dentist on duty heard my situation took me in that day and removed my aching, painful toothache.

Appointments are not taken to priority, so do not waste your time. They will take walk ins over the appointment let alone still skip your turn with walk ins that came after. I brought my 2 daughter one 11 and one 1yr old. The one yr old did not have her full info so they thought skipping the 11 yr old was probably for the best. Stood their for 2 hours and was told we would be last despite being on time for our appointment. We had to leave due to the horrible attentiveness and my kids had to eat being it was after school, 2 hour wait, not being taken care of, and bad excuses. I do not know what else to say. Blue island is not the best place for a lot of things and apparently not this dental practice as well. Appointments should be taken care of because a lot of us do not have the luxury to come in whenever.

My experience today was disappointing. I called days before to make an appointment. Talked to the receptionist , gave her all information needed and insurance card . She said she would call me insurance carrier .She set the appointment for today at 10:00 am fine. I get there Waited 1 hour 😡 to be told that my insurance wouldn’t cover the cost. She should’ve gotten al that info days before .,Stop inconveniencing people. They wasted my time.,

The worst dental office to be in business. They’ve rescheduled my appointment one day prior to me confirming every month for the past 4 months. When you do FINALLY get an appointment they let you know after waiting for 45mins that there’s a 2-3 hour delay. SHUT THE PLACE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! When you express your concern to the workers they get nasty and hang up on you. Avoid by all costs.

Public awareness! The Blue Island Dental Dream has practice racial discrimination to myself on Saturday,May 21,2022. Their professionalism was lacking on this date during my visit. I have made calls to the corporate and calls to the manager of Dental Dreams only to discredited for my complaint, my suggestion to all Patriots of this facility find another place to spend their money. Also 2weeks ago during my visit you couldn't help but to notice the uncleanliness of this facility and the outdated equipment. So I say be very leery about making an appointment with this place I will continue to contact corporate with my complaint.👎👎👎👎👎👀

Cleaning was superb. However, a person answering the phones needs to be trained I'm customer service. His name was Robert and I found him to be quite curt. After being on hold for several minutes, when he answered, he hung up on me. I called back right away and he answered. I asked him why he disconnected the call and he said because he couldn't take the seat belt indicator tone. I was getting in the car and hadn't yet had the chance to connect my belt. Robert has issues with customer relations. If he is perturbed by background noises, that makes me wonder about his capacity to answer phones. When i arrived and was called to the back, Robert told me to make sure I complete the paperwork completely. I felt compelled to ask the dental assistant if he was "special," as I didn't want to offend someone with a mental disability. But, the response was, "not that I'm aware of." Outside of those experiences with ROBERT, everyone was professional, the establishment was clean and the service was swift.

Dental Dreams is the best! Dr. Kapoor worked wonders with my damaged teeth. The office is very conscious of cleanliness and comfort of their patients and the staff is wonderful. The dental assistant Samantha was very comforting and caring about me. And the front desk was very very helpful also especially Alondra and Erica.

I’ve been coming here for years but at this point I’m looking for another dentist. The wait is so ridiculous I have to constantly reschedule. Otherwise they’ll call you the day before your appointment and reschedule you. Not to mention the last few times my kids and I visited, cavity was “found” each time. (Iykyk!) just extremely frustrating all around. Do not recommend at all!

I received a text indicating that my appointment was at 830am. I get there with my son and the doors were locked. They didn’t open until 900. I inquired and the young man told me that their corporate office sends out the alerts. I sat in my car to wait for 9am and a patient went in and was served before us. Also. I had to inquire about insurance coverage reimbursement. I was told that no one checked to see if I would get my $200+ back after three weeks. Furthermore We have to wait until October to get fillings done!!

If I could give this establishment zero stars I absolutely would! I have been holding off on doing this but after the third bad experience I decided I want to help others chose somewhere else. Every time I have an appointment here I sit for minimum 2 hours before I am seen … let’s start there. The longest I have waited was 3.5 hours past my appointment time thurs far. And when you ask them for an estimate they always say “you are next” when you really are not. If that Doesn’t stop you from wanting to go here just continue to read. The staff here all act as if it’s their first day in the job and they are not very knowledgeable. You may have to literally direct them on what you need done whether it’s sending something to your insurance, or just figuring out your treatment plan. They are also extremely rude to children!! I highly suggest you do not pick this place for your dental needs.

I haven’t been that comfortable in a long time while getting my teeth cleaned. The dentist who cleaned my teeth talked to me and kept asking me if I was okay and I wanted to cry that’s how long it been since I didn’t mind getting my teeth cleaned or anything else done in my mouth. I bought up getting a flipper for my mouth just so I can smile sometimes

I gave them 3 stars because I do love the girls who work there behind the counter who have to deal with not only myself but everyone else that calls and comes in to the office and they are always dealing with a lot of different people who I'm sure are a pain in the A** like I am when I start to get inpatient and want to be called already. I have been coming here for many years now and I have been through many different dentists as well, not to be a "Dental " type of person I was always afraid of my visit to the office but they will make sure you are feeling safe and you can ask for reassurance during your visit with your dentist to. I recommend you try this place for your kids and yourself to. Thanks guys

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter had an awesome and pain free experience at Dental Dreams. I only had one thing I didn’t like and that’s how the exams rooms are open and it’s not really any privacy for your exam. Other than that, the visit itself went very well.

This has been the worst dentist appointment I've ever been to. The kids appointments were at 11am the dentist wasn't able to get to them until 1:45pm because she was the ONLY DENTIST WORKING. Three stars for corporate not getting them the support they need. Four stars for their actual service. One star for the amount of time taken.

I was extremely fortunate to have found this place and the wonderful dentist who pulled my back right top two teeth. I was informed by another dentist that I needed to go to an oral surgeon and have them pulled and I had to wait 10 months to do so because they didn’t have any openings. Dr. Noh Was outstanding, he pulled those two teeth no problem and so fast I felt no pain at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone and being a new patient there I did not have to wait long at all!

I had a deep cleaning. The dentist did a great job. No pain what so ever. Numbed up my mouth with a swab. Gave it a good amount of time to kick in before using the injection for more numbing medicine. They are always so thorough and great about calling for reminders. Highly recommend. Do not put off dental care.

I had an extraction. It was the worst experience in my life and because of that I will never go to a dentist again. I told the dentist I can feel everything she didn't care. Because I felt everything I had to tell her to stop about 10 times which obviously prolonged the procedure. Teeth cleanings might be ok but I suggest strongly not to get a tooth extraction.

I have had a great experience going here. My dentist took extra time out of her day and saved some teeth that I’m sure another dentist might have pulled. Good people excellent service. Fast appointment times.

They're are horrible with their times and work. Had a filled in and this is my third time going back to have it fixed. That side still uncomfortable to eat and chewed..they don't take your concern very serious

I hate this dentist! Every time I attempt to give them a chance they screw it up Big Time! From the slow asz receptionists to the actual dentist! They always get my information mixed up with another patient! They can Nvr verify insurance information after having yu sit there for over an hour wasting your time! I called to verify my own insurance information and was still unable to be seen! So unorganized and unprofessional! My last time ever dealing with them
