I am not able to play soccer with a couple of friends, because a large group of Blue Springs South Football players was trying to take up 3/3rds of the field, throwing the ball, and running routes into our 3rd. They ran into me multiple times and I went to the front desk and told them the situation, they talked to them but they didn't stop. They called me a snitch and a pu**y multiple times, and they kicked my ball down the other end of the field. There were no consequences for the football players, and the staff didn't handle the situation well.

Great facility, machines are kept in good working order and there's lots of space to work around, even when it's busy. All types can work out here without judgement. (My only complaint would be the occasional guy who thinks it's macho/cool to let the machine weights slam down on last rep...that just tells me you can't actually control the weight you have on...but that's anywhere you go)

Excellent community facility with plans underway to grow into something more. The conference room was relatively clean and it was great to be able to reserve a basketball court and a soccer field for our own little private event.

I've been attending this place for a couple of years. It's okay. I attend the fitness classes, and they are a bit raunchy sometimes. I bring my 10 year old to Zumba and Dance 2 fit. It can be uncomfortable for us to watch an older instructor twerk. This place is used as a baby sitting center. The kids from the adjacent apartment complexes crowd the place on the weekends and stay all day in the summer. Occasionally, the place smells like Marijuana. Also, the staff isn't very helpful. It's unfortunate that this is one of the only options in blue springs. Not the best reflection of our city. I hope that when they finish the pool, they restrict it to BLUE SPRINGS RESIDENTS ONLY WITH ID. And charge a high rate for external customers. Or it's downhill from here!

No one knows what they’re doing up there. I called to see if we can come play basketball. I just moved out here. They said it was $10. If you didn’t live in blue Springs five dollars if you did. Then I get there. They need my ID a bill and my nephews couldn’t play because I was not there legal guardian when I strictly told them that we were coming up to play basketball and we were bringing people with us that were under age, they said $10.05 dollars I will never go back there again and I just moved out here and I will be taking my business to a different gym Also, the people at the front desk had no clue what was going on. I waited 45 minutes to be helped for them to tell me that thanks for nothing. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a gym.

I have been a member of the field house for several years. It continues to be well run, well-kept, friendly and welcoming. They continuously add new classes and programs to keep their facility relevant. It is the cleanest gym I have ever been associated with. I appreciate the parks department running such a great facility, making fitness available To so many in the community.

My wife and I recently joined, only to find out the rates would double in June (from a FB friend, not Fieldhouse). They are forcing us to buy a water park pass we don’t want and ALREADY PAID FOR WITH OUR TAX INCREASE. I was excited to use the facility, but not for $80 a month when they really don’t have a ton of equipment. Shame on you, Blue Springs - very disappointed.

Great facility but the classes are unreliable. There have been numerous occasions where we showed up for the scheduled group class, but the instructor did not show up or the facility was closed and did not communicate to its members. Frustrating when we got up at 4:30am to make the 5:15am class only to find all the cars turning around in the parking lot because it was closed. Other times there was no instructor for the spin class, and no one ever even came in to communicate. We worked out to the on-demand system, which we could have done in our basement. We signed up for the facility text messaging system but it was not communicated that way either.

It's a good place for kids sports. 4 basketball courts, workout place for members, and a soccer area. Better than alot of the facilities for club sports..

Used to be a good place to hoop but now enforcing to many rules that take away from older people coming to play so basically it’s a drop you’re kid off day care waste of money don’t go here anymore not what it used to be

The hours were created by someone low functioning. Yea, let’s go ahead and close at 6 pm on the day (Saturday) most people don’t have to work and don’t have to work the next day. If there were ANY day you’d want to stay open late into the evening it would be SATURDAY. Brain dead decision

Great sports facility for volleyball. Limited on seating, but for players; it's great.

Do not come here to use this place as a weightlifting gym. The weight room is ridiculously small and there are several better options around.

Good workout equipment. Big space good for practice and drills

Small but sufficient gym to workout. Offers big courts for pickle ball or basket ball and a large indoor practice field for soccer.

Very rude all the times I came up here with my wife and 2 kids they watched me play basketball and they played on the tuff I guess that’s change and the front desk lady I have never seen up there was very rude about it and I will not be coming up here anymore

Well maintained, but the restroom on the ground floor was closed, which meant my husband, who uses a walker, had to go upstairs to use a restroom. There are no barriers to protect the spectator from flying soccer balls. My husband was hit in the face and I was hit in the knee. All other balls flying toward us were fended off by people around us.

Been working out here for 3 years. I love how the machines have personal screens to watch tv or Netflix or play games. I never see equipment broken down for more than a day. And they have tons of cool classes and lots of pickle ball players.
