The consistently worst customer service ever experienced, spanning years of continuing to give this location a chance, even after 'new management'. If you are not friends or family of the staff, forget being acknowledged as a paying customer, let alone served. Quality of food has always been fine, okay at best, but the listless teenagers and careless supervisors add to horrible experience after horrible experience. Anyone posting a positive review here must have an 'insider's code' none of the rest of the public know about, this service is too horrible to continue to ignore. Never again

The service was great and the food tasted great. Only problem I have is the sizable difference in the salad and the pizza. The salad came out in what was more like a bowl you would use for some salsa and pizza is half size as All The other Minsky's I've been to. And I've been through a lot have them.

Food was good but the behavior of the staff was terrible. I have been here many times and have seen the cashiers yelling at and belittling customers, can not think of a situation where that is reasonable. Good tasting food is not worth the disrespectful behavior of the cashiers.

This place was fantastic! Was able to call in our order ahead for dine in! Perfect for my 30 min lunch break! The service was amazing along with the pepperoni/bacon calzone! Will definitely be back!

I've been hearing about this place from my partner for MONTHS. We finally came back to visit his hometown and this was our first stop. Oh my GOD. The pizza is awesome, I have NEVER had a cheeseburger pizza and that knocked it out of the park!! Can't wait to go back!

Went in after the Chiefs game for lunch. We ordered salads to start. It took a bit for them to come out. The croutons and tomatoes were mushy. The blue cheese dressing was quite good. The pizza came out 1 minute after the salad. Not great planning by the server. I ordered my pizza with red peppers and zucchini. There was one big piece of zucchini on each piece and light on the amount of red peppers. The pepperoni on my husbands pizza was light as well. We just moved to this area and loved the Minskys over in State Line. This location fell short of expectations. Parking out front. They do offer a Military discount. We forgot to ask before we paid.

I’m a little outside of the delivery lines one block over. The manager and the staff are amazing people. They always make it happen for us out east and north or the delivery line! Great food and service! Thanks!!

It got their 5 cheese pizza and the cream cheese and pesto dip. Both amazing. But the dip has to be one of the best things I've ever had. Sucks there isn't a location closer to me

This Minsky's is still pretty understaffed, or at least was on the night we went. On the other hand, our waitress was ON IT. She had beverages to us before we knew we needed them, and when the kitchen messed up my order (sadly, not a new experience here) she let us know immediately, and got the fixed order to us ASAP. There were at least a dozen people waiting to pick up to-go orders at one point, so the kitchen was slammed while the seating area was nearly empty, so be aware that while you may be seated quickly, you may be behind twenty virtual orders. One of us got the prime cut pizza, and he said it was amazing! I enjoyed my veggie pizza, though I subbed spinach for the green peppers (which is probably where the kitchen got stuck, so maybe no custom orders?). The only complaint is that the children's cheese pizza was about 70% crust (as you can see in the photo), and I don't know about your kiddos, but mine doesn't like bare crust, so we had to feed her again after we left, because somehow the five bites she ate didn't fill her uo.

Had the Father's Day special of Joes BBQ Pizza calibration. It was amazing! Sweet and savory and very filling in just a few slices. Service was uniquely wonderful and we really felt welcomed. Clean and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you!!

I walked in to order my pizza. The whole place was very smoky. I was greeted by a nice young lady. I ordered the medium chicken cordons blue pizza. I was not impressed from the looks or the taste. Very little meat and a ton of mushrooms. The pizza was over cooked and dry. No flavor really. Not sure I’ll be back at this location

Pizza delivered with box smashed in and all of the toppings and cheese stuck to the top of the box. Ordered salad with no croutons because wife has celiac and croutons are on her salad.

Great place I believe is local to KC. I'm not from the area and love trying pizza from other places. Though I'm already not a fan of red sauces in general, I got the bacon Mac pizza 👌👌 app was mozzy sticks and the marina was a little chunky but you can tell it's house made.

Disappointed in this Minsky's. We ate here twice. I ordered a pizza each time. The first was on a small thin crust the second was regular crust. Both times the crust was not cooked all the way and was doughy. The toppings were good as well as the sauce for each of the five cheese and the margherita pizza. My fiance also had the Alfredo pasta once which he found bland. It is disappointing because we used to eat at the Olathe branch in KS when we lived there and the pizza was always fantastic, as well as the sandwiches. I may try again once more in the evening. Both times we were there was during lunch so maybe we will have better luck.

The good - Pizza The bad - service was slow, hair in salad and no apology, dirty glass and a $9 Caesar salad that had less lettuce then my $5.50 garden salad. My second salad also had a hair in it that I found before I finished it. I love the pizza from Minsky’s but that’s it. Having worked in the restaurant business for over 15 years, including management, any item with a foreign object in it would of been taken off the bill and at a minimum an apology would of been issued. It’s just called good customer service .

Went to dine in, only two other tables were seated at the time, one was finishing up to leave. We ordered to mini pizzas and an order of mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks came out to our table 35 minutes later, cold. I do feel slightly bad as they had already dropped new sticks when we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. Probably won't go back.

This was my first experience with Minsky's altogether. Many have told me that Minsky's is one of the better pizza establishments around, but my first experience was truly underwhelming. I ordered the Philly cheese steak pizza, as I love to see how different companies and different locations execute this signature American favorite. The prices at Minsky's are outrageous and their version of the Philly fell very short of the mark. That said, if you are looking for a really good representation of a Philly, then you are better off visiting Marco's Pizza. Marco's pizza offers butter garlic crust and everything that I have ever tried has been phenomenal. Their prices truly rival that of Minsky's as well. One positive aspect of the Minsky's experience is their crust, as it is hardy crust that actually keeps the toppings in place. The crust is not very flavorful, however. While this was my only experience with Minsky's, it just feels utterly wrong to charge such high prices for sub par food. I may indeed try again at a later date to see if anything proves worthy of such outlandish prices. I have heard the Tostada pizza is really good, so we shall see in due time if that is the case.

This Blue Springs location pizza is always perfection & consistent. Never had a bad pizza made here! Lee's Summit location was always dry & never enough cheese. We drive farther but are happy to do so to get a good quality pizza! Try the Joe's burnt ends pizza. It's amazing!!

Well the pizza was good. The meatball appetizer was like it came out of the refrigerator and didn't get microwave long enough cold in the middle. The waitress had no clue about wine and it took about 10 minutes to get a basic glass of red. The waitress was fine the manager took off the meatball sub But we left disappointed we loved the Minsky's Independence and have never had this problem there.

Asked for well done as sometimes dough is under cooked — bread sticks perfect — other 2 pizzas burnt tasting — whiskey tango foxtrot. Will be a moment before I order from blue Springs Minsky’s again and it’s only blue Springs Minsky’s I have a problem with I get the phone on 51st St. all the time as well as the one in Gladstone for lunch

This was my first visit here. I go by everyday and wondered how it was. I ordered the prime cut pizza not knowing how it would be. It was very good with original crust. Bacon on top was crunchy. Had a spicy taste to it which might have been sausage.
